Ramp included

The Lavatory: the Central Valley authority on ADA-compliant restroom trailer rentals

The ramp and handrails come attached to each ADA restroom and shower trailer we deliver, so no one has to order lumber or a separate ramp. The ramp travels on the trailer and sets up with it. You never hire a carpenter the day before a vineyard wedding, and a fair crew never hunts for plywood at dawn. Because we place accessible units at fairgrounds and ranch venues around the Valley, we plan the ramp landing and the path from parking together with the spot by the main walkway. That is a big reason planners and project managers compare us to everyone else and pick us for CA portable ADA restroom and shower trailer rental service. Call The Lavatory now, or request a free quote and we will send a placement plan with it.

What makes our deluxe ADA trailers different

Placement checked from your photos

Send us a few photos of the lot and the path from parking. We tell you where the trailer fits, where the ramp lands and whether the truck can make the turn at your gate.

Rooms stocked before the first guest

Toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap are in every room when the trailer is set. On multi-day events and long jobs, service visits restock them on a set schedule.

Interiors that clean fast

Gel-coated fiberglass walls wipe down quickly after a dusty rail site or a muddy fair field, so the room looks the same on day 30 as on day one.

Dispatch software we built ourselves

Our own AI dispatch software tracks every order and every service stop. It means fewer missed visits on long Valley jobs and fewer surprises on event day.

One lineup for a gala and a rail site

The same accessible trailers look right at a vineyard reception and hold up at a public-works lot, so you never trade looks for durability.

Shade planned on hot afternoons

On Fresno summer jobs we plan where the queue stands at 3 p.m., not just where the trailer parks, so guests who need the accessible room do not wait in direct sun.

Organizers of yearly fairs and school field events in Fresno often book us again, and the reason is steady upkeep. Guests only think about an accessible room when it is not there, so we keep each one clean, stocked and easy to reach every day of the job, for every unit and every Fresno booking.

Inside the trailer

Accessible restroom and shower trailers sized for any Fresno job

Around Fresno, the ADA + 2 is the most common pick for ranch receptions and site offices, and the ADA + 6 takes the larger fair and festival crowds near the Fairgrounds and Old Town Clovis.

ADA trailer set up near Clovis for fairs and festivals

The lineup starts with the Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo and tops out at the seven-room ADA + 6. The combo gives one person a private room with an ADA china toilet and grab bars, a roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, an ADA sink, and its own ramp. It suits one guest or crew member who needs a full accessible bathroom, such as a shelter resident or a worker on a long job.

Guests get a women’s room and a men’s room, plus a third unisex room built so a person using a wheelchair can get in and turn around. It covers events up to about 200 guests or job sites up to about 30 crew, with a 210 gallon fresh tank and a 300 gallon waste tank. At a fairground or ranch venue with about 300 guests, the ADA + 6 adds up to seven rooms, with one unisex ADA room among them, and carries 200 gallons of fresh water and 475 gallons of waste. Both draw power from two 120 V 20 A circuits. Between them, these two models fit most guest lists we see for accessible restroom trailers around Fresno.

The ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer has two standard private shower rooms and one ADA shower room, with metered 1.5 GPM hot and cold heads, 210 and 300 gallon tanks and an integrated ramp. It fits sites of about 50 users who stay several days, like long public-works shifts or an evacuation shelter. For a statewide view of the shower side, see our VIP portable ADA shower trailer rental across California. Every unit has a gel-coated fiberglass interior that wipes clean, runs on its own tanks or on hookups, and is stocked and serviced by our team.

What every accessible unit comes with

Self-contained ramp

Our ADA restroom and shower trailers arrive with their own ramp and handrails, so there is no separate ramp to rent or build on site.

Roomy accessible stall

Step inside the unisex room and you will see grab bars next to a porcelain toilet, with enough open floor for a wheelchair to turn around.

Accessible shower option

Rail and highway crews use the shower version, which has a roll in shower, seat, spray wand and separate hot and cold controls.

Heat and air conditioning

Every trailer has heat and air conditioning for afternoons past 100 degrees and for cold winter mornings.

Runs with or without hookups

Onboard water and waste tanks let a field or orchard venue skip hookups, and we stage a generator when there is no power.

Serviced and stocked

We deliver it stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs.

The lineup

Picking between our ADA trailers

The accessible lineup runs from the Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo to the seven-room ADA + 6. Tell us the crowd or crew count and whether showers are needed, and we pick the size for a Fresno fair night or a road crew.

Our service

The service behind every one of our ADA-compliant trailers

At a vineyard or barn venue, we do more than leave the trailer at the gate. Our crew drives it in, levels it on the uneven ground, and either connects water and power or sets up a generator with a water supply. It is ready before the first guest walks up, and we return to haul it away.

Through a school modernization or a long rail project in Fresno, we schedule restocking visits so the trailer stays in the same condition from the first day to the last.

Valley weather

Planning accessible restroom trailers around Fresno heat and winter cold

Delivery and service visit on a Central Valley ADA trailer job

Summer afternoons in Fresno pass 100 degrees dozens of times most years, and late July highs average in the upper 90s. Even an October fair week can run hot: fair officials blamed hot weather for a slower first five days in 2026. In that kind of heat, an accessible restroom matters most while a guest is still waiting outside it. A line in full sun is hard on an older guest or anyone with a health condition.

We plan placement around the sun. On a fairground or ranch lot we look for the shaded side of a building or a tree line for the queue, and we face the ramp away from the hottest afternoon glare when the site allows it. Late afternoon weddings in May, June or September can get hot, so we set the trailer out well before the heat peaks and it is comfortable when the first guests walk in.

Winter brings the opposite problem. In February 2026 the city opened three warming centers as Valley lows got close to freezing. Early morning job sites and winter shelters still need a comfortable room, and the ramp surface needs a quick check for frost and wet leaves before the first person walks up it.

The math

What going without ADA-compliant trailers costs

ADA trailer set up near Clovis for fairs and festivals, wider view

A Fresno fair weekend already pays for fencing, staging and crews, so one accessible room adds only a small share to the budget, yet it decides whether grandparents and wheelchair users can stay through the last show.

Ordering it with the other rentals for a wedding or school project means one delivery, one service schedule and one person to call.

Simple steps

What to expect when you book ADA-compliant trailers

Renting a trailer should be one less thing on your list, so we give you four clear steps, a direct answer and one team that stays with the job.

1

Send us the details

Send the date and address of your barn venue or work lot, and we recommend the unit and how many you need.

2

We pick the size and the spot

Field edges and orchard roads seldom have outlets, so we check the site, bring a generator and water where needed, and mark the spot so one trip does it.

3

We deliver and set it up

Our crew pulls in at the time you pick, early enough to beat the morning shift or the first arrivals, and levels, connects and stocks the unit.

4

We keep it clean, then haul it away

It stays for the full job, whether a fair weekend or a summer of road work, you can always reach our service line, and we come back to remove it.

Weddings

Wheelchair-accessible restroom rentals for weddings at Fresno ranch and vineyard venues

A wedding has the widest age spread of any event we serve. Guests from toddlers to great-grandparents, including an uncle in a wheelchair or a friend on a cane after knee surgery, all end up in the same restrooms. The accessible room covers most of them at once, with a wider door, grab bars and room to turn a wheelchair or a stroller.

Many favorite venues around Fresno sit on ranch and vineyard ground with one small building restroom or none. Evanelle Vineyards is about 10 minutes north of Fresno in Madera. Grace Barn sits on a 20-acre horse ranch near Del Rey, The Stones Throw Ranch looks over the Kings River near Sanger, and The Pines Resort at Bass Lake puts the reception in the Sierra National Forest. Couples at venues like these rent a trailer because the building cannot handle 200 guests.

A reception only needs restroom trailers, since our showers are meant for work crews and shelters. These are luxury restroom trailers with china toilets, sinks and finished interiors that look right in your photos. For a long dinner with dancing after, ask us about a mid-evening check so the rooms look the same at the last song as they did at the toast.

On a ranch or vineyard lot, the first thing we check is the ground. Gravel and packed turf hold a ramp landing; loose, freshly watered grass does not. We also ask about the guest list before the headcount: how many guests use a wheelchair, a walker or a stroller decides how wide the path from the dance floor should be. Then we set the private restroom trailer out of the photo line, with path lights for after sunset.

Construction and public works

Temporary accessible restroom trailers for construction and public works

ADA trailer set up near Clovis for fairs and festivals, closer view

High-speed rail work has turned Fresno into one of the busiest public-works zones in California. The first 32-mile segment runs from Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, and the Cesar Chavez Boulevard underpass was completed in March 2026, less than a mile from the planned downtown station. Highway work adds more: the State Route 41 widening in Fresno and Kings counties is scheduled through spring 2029.

Common California guidance says toilets used only by construction workers do not have to be accessible. Toilets that serve a construction support area, like a site office, a public outreach trailer or an inspector’s station, generally need at least one accessible unit on an accessible route. An ADA + 2 next to the site office covers that office and up to about 30 crew in one trailer. Check the details for your job with the local building official.

Schools are the other big public-works client type here. Fresno Unified voters passed Measure H in 2024 to repair aging campuses, and several modernization projects are phased so the school stays open. When a wing of restrooms closes for months, temporary accessible restroom trailers cover students, staff and visiting parents. Agencies and districts can compare this page with our ADA restroom trailer rentals in Fresno for the full spec sheets.

On long jobs we plan the service schedule and the surface under the ramp first. Crews track dust and mud, so the gel-coated fiberglass gets cleaned on every visit. For multi-day crews who need to wash up, the ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer gives two standard shower rooms plus an ADA shower room, sized for about 50 users.

Permits and access

Permits and accessibility rules for ADA restroom trailers in Fresno

The City of Fresno special events application tells event hosts to provide portable restroom facilities. The form asks for the total number of portable toilets and how many are ADA accessible, and points applicants to an exhibit with recommended counts by attendance. We do not file the application for you, but we send the unit specs and a placement plan you can attach to it.

Because Fresno is in California, two sets of rules apply: the federal ADA and Chapter 11B of the California Building Code, which covers temporary structures and construction support areas. Our ADA units meet federal ADA requirements. Ratios for how many accessible units a bank needs differ by city and county, so ask your permit office, and plan for at least one accessible room in every bank of restrooms.

Every venue and HOA sets its own rules about outside vendors and trailers, so it pays to ask them before you book. Ranch and vineyard venues may ask for a certificate of insurance or an approved vendor list, and HOAs often care about where the trailer sits and how visible it is from the street. Get those answers before you sign anything, and send us the venue’s rules so the placement plan follows them.

The Fresno access details we take care of

  • We send spec sheets with the accessible room clearances for your permit file or venue sign-off.
  • We tell you where to put the ramp so that grass or gravel at a vineyard still leaves a level, firm path to the door.
  • We arrange water and power ahead, with a generator staged for farm fields and road work zones without outlets.
  • Every unit on the road is licensed and insured for school and agency jobs.

A fair at the Big Fresno Fairgrounds, a campus under modernization or a job inside the City of Fresno may each carry its own rules on where an accessible restroom can stand. Give us the address and we shape the layout around them. Check your permit with the venue or the city too.

Where they go

ADA bathroom trailer rentals for Fresno events, job sites and more

The three jobs below come up most often around Fresno: crowds at fairs and concerts, weddings where three generations share one reception, and public-works sites with an office on the lot. Each one asks something different of an accessible room, and we plan each one differently.

Portable ADA restroom rentals for fairs, festivals and concerts in Fresno

The Big Fresno Fair runs at the Fresno Fairgrounds each October and is the fourth-largest fair in California, with more than 600,000 visitors a year. Seniors’ Day draws one of the biggest crowds of the run, and on that day the accessible room is the restroom most people ask about. Walkers, scooters and wheelchairs all need level ground near the grandstand and the midway, plus a short route from the parking lots.

Old Town Clovis sees the same pattern on a street footprint. Big Hat Days brought over 140,000 visitors in April 2026, and the 112th Clovis Rodeo expected about 50,000 people over five days, with concerts after the rodeo. Downtown, FresYes Fest fills Fulton Street with stages and food trucks for one long day, and ArtHop brings evening crowds to downtown and the Tower District on the first Thursday of each month.

Our perspective from years of fair work: the accessible unit belongs first in the row, closest to the main path, with the ramp facing the walkway. Too many events put it last and farthest away, which makes the guests who need it most walk the longest. We also ask where shade falls at 3 p.m., because an afternoon queue in Fresno sun is a barrier of its own for an older guest.

Arenas like the Save Mart Center hold about 16,000 people for a concert and have their own building restrooms. Our portable ADA restroom trailers serve the ground around venues like that: tailgate lots, outdoor stages, beer gardens, and vendor and staff areas where no building exists. For a multi-day event, the ADA + 6 carries the main bank and service visits are set between sessions, so the rooms are clean before the next gate opens.

Other jobs

More uses for mobile ADA restroom trailers in Fresno County

Evacuation shelters below the foothills

When fire moves through foothill towns like Auberry and Prather, evacuees go to shelters on the Valley floor. Shelters host older residents and people with disabilities, so the Single-Station ADA combo or the ADA + 2 Private Shower gives them a full accessible bathroom.

Flood shelters east of the Friant-Kern Canal

In March 2023 the county opened a flood shelter in Reedley and moved it to the Sanger Community Center. Shelters like that run for days, which is the job our accessible shower and restroom units are built for.

Lobby restrooms shut for pipe work

An office, clinic or church with its building restrooms down for a repair needs an accessible room for staff and visitors right away. An ADA + 2 near the entrance covers it until the work is done.

Fresno State graduation weekends

Families bring grandparents in wheelchairs to graduation parties around campus and in backyards across north Fresno. A restroom trailer with an ADA room handles the party without a line at the house bathroom.

Memorial services and parish picnics

Church grounds and family land often have one small restroom. A temporary ADA restroom trailer lets every guest, including elderly relatives, stay for the whole gathering.

Everyone on site uses the same room, from fairgoers to highway crews, and with units staged across the Valley, businesses in Fresno add an ADA trailer to event and job site orders as a matter of course.

Typical jobs

How we plan ADA trailers for jobs like these

Volunteer coordinator planning restrooms for a fall fair’s seniors’ day

When a fair expects its biggest senior crowd on one weekday, we move an ADA + 6 to the front of the restroom row nearest the gate. We mark a level route from the handicap parking, check that the ramp landing sits on compacted ground, and set a service visit between the morning and afternoon peaks.

Bride’s family planning a September reception at a ranch near Del Rey

When the guest list includes a grandmother who uses a wheelchair, we place the ADA + 2 on the gravel pad closest to the dance floor, out of the photo line. We ask the venue where path lights can go, and the room is stocked before the ceremony starts.

Facilities manager on a phased school modernization in central Fresno

When one wing of campus restrooms closes for a semester, we place an accessible restroom trailer on blacktop near the open classrooms, away from the fenced work zone. Service runs after the last bell, and we send spec sheets the district can file with the building official.

Fresno neighborhoods we serve with private ADA restroom trailers

The Central Valley corridors we cover with ADA trailers

Units are staged close to Fresno and go out across the Valley floor and into the Sierra foothills, including downtown job sites and Bass Lake receptions. Planners comparing accessible bathroom trailer rentals in Fresno County can call with an address and get a fit check on the same call.

Our ADA trailers reach sites across California from Fresno, including Downtown Fresno, Chinatown, Tower District, Fig Garden, Woodward Park, Sunnyside, Bullard, Fresno State, Pinedale, Roosevelt, McLane, Clovis, Old Town Clovis, Sanger, Selma, Kingsburg, Reedley, Fowler, Kerman, Madera, Del Rey, Prather, Auberry, Friant.

Full specifications are on the ADA + 2 restroom trailer page for Fresno bookings and the other accessible unit pages, or call and we will spec it to your Fresno guest and crew count. The full range of layouts sits one page over in our private ADA-compliant restroom trailer rentals across California. The same fleet reaches events and jobsites well beyond this city through our California’s mobile luxury ADA shower trailers for rent. Towns farther out get the same trailers and dispatch; our Fresno, California mobile VIP ADA-compliant restroom trailers for rent lists them.

Downtown and Chinatown

The planned high-speed rail station sits between H, G, Tulare and Fresno Streets, and street events fill Fulton Street. Jobs here mean tight curbs and paved lots, so the ramp needs a flat, clear landing.

Tower District

The Rogue Festival and first-Thursday ArtHop bring evening crowds on foot. A private accessible room near a stage or gallery block needs lighting along the path after dark.

Fresno State and the Save Mart Center

Concerts, graduations and the Whole Vine Festival bring big family crowds to campus. Tailgate lots and outdoor stages are where a trailer with an ADA room helps most.

The Fairgrounds and southeast Fresno

The Big Fresno Fair takes over the grounds each October, and other events use the fields through the year. Open ground means we plan the route from parking to the ramp from scratch.

North Fresno and Woodward Park

Backyard weddings, graduation parties and park events are common up north. Many backyard parties happen on neighborhood streets, and some HOAs have their own rules about trailers parked out front, so we help you pick a spot that works before the day arrives.

Short-notice orders in Fresno are common for us, and dispatch is open around the clock.

Nearby towns served by our accessible portable restroom rentals

Clovis

Old Town Clovis hosts Big Hat Days each April and the Clovis Rodeo later that month. Street events like these need accessible rooms close to the parade route.

Sanger

The Sanger Community Center served as the county flood shelter in March 2023. The Stones Throw Ranch wedding venue sits nearby above the Kings River.

Madera

Evanelle Vineyards hosts weddings about 10 minutes north of Fresno. The high-speed rail segment begins at Avenue 19 in Madera County.

Reedley

The Travers Creek Bridge replacement on Manning Avenue went to bid in August 2026. Orchard and packing-shed sites around town need restrooms for staff and visitors.

Auberry, Prather and Shaver Lake

These foothill towns saw evacuations in the 2020 Creek Fire, and the July 2026 Raleigh Fire closed Auberry Road. Fire season brings shelter and base camp needs.

Del Rey and Fowler

Grace Barn near Del Rey and Sunset Acres in Fowler host ranch weddings southeast of Fresno. Barns like these were not built with enough bathrooms for a 200 person guest list.

Straight answers

Questions we get about accessible trailers

Do I need a generator for an ADA trailer at a vineyard outside Fresno, or will a regular outlet work?

Each ADA unit plugs into two 120 volt, 20 amp outlets, the same kind you have at home, as long as each one sits on its own breaker. A barn or venue building with two free circuits near the trailer is usually enough. Bare vineyard lots, fairground fields and new job sites with no power need a generator. Tell us what is on site and we will say which one you need.

Will an ADA unit work next to a bigger restroom trailer we already booked?

Yes, and that is a common setup. Many events use a larger multi-station trailer for the main crowd and add an ADA unit nearby so the accessible room is close to the same path. The ADA + 2 and ADA + 6 already include standard rooms, so for some events they become the whole bank. We place the accessible unit closest to the main walkway, not behind the others.

Can schools, the city and county agencies in Fresno rent accessible trailers for public sites?

Yes. Districts, city departments and county agencies rent from us for campuses during modernization, parks, public outreach sites and shelters. Send the project address, the dates and who will use the restrooms, and we write the quote for that site. We also provide spec sheets your building official or procurement team can review.

Is delivery the day before my event possible, and who sets up and picks up?

Yes. For most weddings and fairs we like to drop the trailer off the day before and collect it the day after the event ends. Our team levels the trailer, sets the ramp and checks the rooms before leaving. You only need to make sure the gate is open and the spot is clear.

Where do ADA trailers fit on long-term construction jobs around Fresno?

They fit next to site offices, inspector stations and any public-facing part of a job, and on campuses or clinics where building restrooms are closed for months. Service visits run on a set schedule for the length of the job.

What does the ramp landing need, and is there room inside to turn a wheelchair?

The ramp needs a level landing at the bottom, and common California guidance calls for a path about 48 inches wide leading to it. Inside, the ADA room has space for a wheelchair to turn, grab bars next to the china toilet and an ADA sink. We confirm the exact clearances from the spec sheet for your permit if you need them.

When do I need a permit, HOA approval or venue sign-off for a trailer in Fresno?

Events on public streets or in parks go through the City of Fresno special events application, which asks how many portable toilets you will have and how many are ADA accessible. Private venues and HOAs set their own rules about placement, insurance and visibility from the street. Ask before you book. We send specs and a placement sketch so you can get the sign-off quickly.

How does water work if the site has no hookup?

A single day of wedding guests rarely uses up what the tanks hold. If the event or job runs longer, we come back to refill and empty the tanks, or you can connect a hose to a nearby spigot.

Which supplies are in the rooms when the trailer arrives?

Paper, soap and towels are already set out in every room by the time we pull onto your site. We clean each room before delivery, and when the rental runs longer our service visits restock the supplies. If you want extras for a wedding, like a basket of guest items, you are welcome to add them.

How far from power and water can the trailer sit?

It depends on the cords, the hose and the ground between them, so we check it for your site instead of guessing. Send photos of the spot and the nearest outlets and spigot, and we will tell you if it works or if a generator and onboard tanks make more sense.

Ada trailer in the parking lot, a Fresno ada trailer rental job

Planning guides for ADA-compliant trailer rentals in Fresno

The guides below help planners with sizing and timing, and explain how far a trailer can sit from power and water.

How to walk your Fresno site before an accessible trailer arrives

Most problems with an accessible restroom trailer start before it is delivered. A 15-minute walk around the site a week or two out catches the issues that are hard to fix on event day: a soft patch of lawn, a curb on the only path, a gate that is too narrow for the truck. Here is the walk we ask every customer to take, and what to look for at each stop.

Start where the guests or crew will start: the parking lot, the main gate or the site office door. Walk the route a wheelchair user would take to the trailer. Common California guidance calls for a clear path about 48 inches wide on level ground. Note anything in the way, like a curb, a sprinkler head, a hose line, a cable run or a row of planters. At fairground fields and school yards, extension cords and temporary fencing are the usual problems.

Next, look at the surface. Asphalt, concrete, compacted gravel and packed dirt all hold a ramp landing well. Loose grass does not, and grass that was watered the night before at a vineyard is worse. Sand and river gravel near the Kings River shift under a wheel. If the best spot is soft, plywood or event matting under the landing and along the path solves it.

Then check the pad itself. Pick a reasonably flat spot about as long as a pickup truck with its trailer, and keep the bottom of the ramp level with enough room to turn a wheelchair. A gentle slope can be leveled with blocks, but a steep one cannot. On ranch land east of Sanger and in the foothills toward Prather, slope is the most common reason we move the spot.

Look up and around for the truck. Count the turns from the road, measure the narrowest gate and note any low branches or wires. Old valley oaks at ranch venues and power lines over rural driveways are the usual catches. If a big truck cannot reach the best spot, we pick the next best one before the delivery day, not during it.

Find the power and water. Each ADA unit needs two separate 20 amp household circuits, so look for outlets that sit on different breakers. Note where the nearest outlets are and whether they are on separate circuits. If there is a spigot, note where it is too. A trailer that sits 200 feet from the barn may still work on its own tanks with a generator, but we want to know that ahead of time.

Think about the night. Many receptions near Fresno run well past sunset, and ArtHop and concert crowds are out after dark. The trailer has interior lights, but the path to it may not. Plan string lights or path lights from the dance floor or main walkway to the ramp.

Finally, take five photos: the spot, the path from parking, the gate, the nearest outlets and the ground up close. Send them with your address and dates. That is all we need for a free site check, and it usually answers every placement question before the quote is final.

Counting accessible restroom rooms for a Fresno event with guests of every age

The most common sizing mistake is counting everyone who comes through in a day instead of the most people on site at once. What matters is the most people on site at the same time, and when they will need a restroom. A fair can see thousands come and go, but the peak hour after a grandstand show is what sets the line length. A wedding is the opposite: everyone is there at once, and everyone wants a restroom right after dinner.

Once you have that peak number, the model choice is quick. Above about 300 people, add a second trailer instead of stretching one, and give each bank its own accessible room.

Check the permit side early if your event is on public ground. If your event is on a public street or in a park, the city’s application also wants a count of your ADA accessible units, so settle that number before you file. Ratios elsewhere in California differ by county, so read the form for your event and ask the permit office if your count looks thin.

Next, adjust for hours and drinks. A three-hour afternoon reception and a six-hour evening party with an open bar are different jobs even with the same headcount. Concerts and festivals with beer gardens run heavier still. Tell us the start and end times along with the guest count and we will size for the real use.

Think about who is on the guest list. A family event with grandparents, guests who use wheelchairs or walkers and parents with strollers will put more use on the accessible room than a young crowd. Older guests also take longer in line and should not stand long in afternoon sun. A short line matters more for them than for anyone.

Spread restrooms out on big sites. A single bank at one end of a fairground field or a large ranch property means a long walk for the guests who can least afford one. Two smaller banks, each with an accessible room, often beat one big bank. Put each one by a main path, not behind a tent.

Count the people working the event, too. Caterers, bartenders, vendors, stage crews and parking volunteers all use the restrooms, and at a festival they can add up to a real number. If staff will be on site for setup the day before, include that in the plan.

When you call, have four things ready: the peak headcount, the hours, a rough site layout and any guests you know need the accessible room. With those, we can tell you which model, how many and where they go.

What to ask a rental company about an accessible trailer before you book in Fresno

Not every trailer sold as accessible works the same way for a guest in a wheelchair. The questions below take five minutes on the phone and tell you whether the unit will really serve the people who need it. Ask them of anyone you are comparing, including us.

Is the ramp part of the trailer? Some trailers need a separate ramp rental or a built ramp on site. Ask whether the ramp travels with the unit, whether it has handrails on both sides and how much flat space it needs at the bottom. Then make sure your site has that space.

How much room is inside the accessible room? Ask whether a wheelchair can turn around inside with the door closed, where the grab bars are and how high the sink and toilet sit. A good answer comes with a spec sheet, not a guess. The federal standards at ADA.gov are a useful reference if you want to compare the numbers yourself.

Is the toilet a real flushing toilet? Ask whether the accessible room has a china toilet and a running-water sink, or a plastic bowl and a hand sanitizer pump. For a wedding or a long job, that difference is what your guests and crew will remember.

Who sets it up, and who levels it? A trailer that is a few degrees off level makes a ramp steeper and a door harder to open. Ask who places and levels the unit, whether they check the ramp before leaving and who you call if something is off on event day.

What is stocked, and who restocks it? Ask what is in each room when the trailer arrives, since toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap should all be there before the first guest. For multi-day events, ask how often the service visits come, what they include and whether the schedule is written into the order.

What power and water does it need? Ask for the circuit count and amperage, the tank sizes and how long the unit can go on its tanks for your crowd. Our ADA units draw power from two 120 V 20 A circuits and carry their own fresh and waste tanks, so the answer for most sites is simple, but ask anyway.

Will they send paperwork for the permit office or venue? Spec sheets, a placement sketch and a certificate of insurance are routine requests. A company that sends them quickly tends to handle the rest of the job the same way.

What changes the cost of an ADA trailer rental in Fresno

Every quote we write for an accessible trailer is built from the same handful of factors. Knowing them helps you plan a budget and spot where a small change in the plan saves money. None of them is a secret, and a good rental company will walk you through each one.

The unit you pick is the starting point. The Single-Station ADA combo, the ADA + 2, the ADA + 2 Private Shower and the ADA + 6 are different sizes with different tanks and room counts, and room count and tank size set the base of the quote.

How long you keep it matters next. How long the trailer stays on site changes the price, so a one-day wedding costs differently than a 12-day fair or a school project that lasts months. On longer rentals the cost per day usually drops, so if you have a job that might run long, say so up front.

Service visits are the third factor. A short wedding may need no service at all. A multi-day festival needs visits between sessions, and a busy construction site needs a weekly schedule or more. More visits mean more trips, so we size the schedule to real use instead of padding it.

Distance and access come next. A paved lot near a main road is a simple delivery. A ranch at the end of a long gravel drive near Bass Lake, or a foothill site above Auberry, takes more time and more care. Tight gates and steep drives can also change which truck goes out.

Power and water setup can add to the job. If your site has two free circuits and a spigot nearby, the unit hooks up and that is it. If the site is a bare field, a generator or extra service trips to refill and empty the tanks become part of the order.

Your dates play a part too. Fair weeks in October and wedding Saturdays in spring and September are the busiest days of the year in the Valley, and the calendar shapes what is available and what it costs.

What a quote should always include: delivery, setup and leveling, a stocked unit, the service you agreed on and pickup. If any of those is missing from a quote you are comparing, ask about it before you sign.
