Why choose The Lavatory

The Lavatory owns its fleet: restroom trailer rentals for Napa, never brokered

The trailer that backs up your Coombsville driveway or onto a Carneros vineyard pad belongs to us, and so does the truck pulling it. We are a direct fleet, not a reseller. Nobody in the middle takes your order and hands it to whoever has a unit free that weekend. That matters in Napa, where a wedding date in October was set a year ago and a memorial reception gets planned in four days. One company answers the phone, gets the unit ready, delivers it and comes back to service it. We are the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S., with over 250 units, an A+ BBB rating, 5-star Google reviews and 30+ years in event rentals. We are licensed, insured and SAM.gov registered for agency work. Browse our full line of luxury restroom trailer rentals, then call us or request a quote and we will hold your date.

Luxury only, nothing plastic

We do not stock plastic units at all. Every booking gets a trailer with real fixtures, mirrors and lighting.

Cool in September, warm in October

Each room has its own AC and heat. That covers a 100 degree harvest afternoon and a cold Carneros night.

Never touches your septic

Water and waste stay in onboard tanks. A home system or a winery well is never part of the plan.

Hillside route checks

Mount Veeder, Atlas Peak and Coombsville drives can be steep, gated and lined with oaks. We look at photos or drive the route before delivery day.

“After my dad’s funeral we expected around ninety people at our place on the east side of Napa. A septic system that small would have backed up by noon. The Lavatory crew dropped off a spotless bathroom trailer by the gate and handled it all very professionally.”

“I run a youth softball tournament at Kennedy Park and the park restrooms can’t keep up on a full day. Their crew set a big trailer between the diamonds, serviced it overnight, and it was ready Sunday morning. Easy to work with and they clearly care about the details.”

Productions and companies that rent our restroom units

The companies that could rent anything still call us for restrooms, because a cheap plastic unit at a launch party or a shareholder event ruins everything the day is meant to say. The Lavatory has provided luxury restrooms for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A luxury restroom is the one vendor a guest uses and remembers, for better or worse, so the trailer has to be stocked, clean and working from the first guest to the last. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every Napa booking, from a backyard engagement party to a festival gate.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Private restroom trailer rentals for a celebration of life at a Napa home

For a family gathering of 80 to 150 people at a Napa home, a 2-Station or an ADA + 2 is the unit we send most. Vineyard weddings of 150 to 300 guests usually get a 5-Station.

A Lavatory ADA restroom trailer with a long aluminum ramp and handrails set on the side lawn of a two-story home

Many Napa families hold the service at Tulocay Cemetery on Coombsville Road or at their church, then invite everyone back to the house. A home with two bathrooms and a septic tank was never built for 120 people over four hours. A private restroom trailer by the driveway keeps the line out of the hallway and away from the family’s private rooms.

These calls come with short notice. Families often have four or five days between the death and the gathering. We keep units staged close to Napa so a weekday call can turn into a Saturday delivery. Tell us the address and roughly how many people, and we will tell you which trailer fits and when it can arrive.

Older relatives come to these gatherings, so access matters. Our ADA + 2 has a ramp with rails and a wide accessible room, plus a women’s and a men’s room. On a hillside lot in Alta Heights or Browns Valley we look for the most level spot near the walkway, often the driveway itself, so no one walks across wet lawn.

We keep it quiet. The trailer comes in a day early or that morning, the crew sets it level and leaves, and it is gone the next day. Nobody at the reception sees a service truck. If the family wants it left an extra day for out of town guests, one call takes care of it.

Standard on every restroom suite we send

Flushing china toilets

Real porcelain toilets with a foot flush, the same fixtures your guests use at home, not a chemical tank.

Running-water sinks

Stainless steel sinks with real running water, hand soap, and towels, fed by onboard water tanks so you are covered even without a hookup.

Climate control

Air conditioning for a summer afternoon and heat for a cold evening, so the trailer stays comfortable no matter the season.

Framed mirrors and lighting

Oversized framed vanity mirrors, warm interior lighting, and finished flooring that reads like a venue restroom, not a jobsite.

Fully stocked, always fresh

Premium toilet paper, towels, soap, and fragrance, restocked and pumped so the unit stays fresh from the first guest to the last.

Power and water handled

Onboard water tanks plus a generator when your site has no hookup, so the trailer runs anywhere from a vineyard to an open field.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 5-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Napa guest count.

The full restroom trailer fleet is one page over; below is how we size a unit to a California guest count.

Straight answers

The right station count for restroom units in Napa

Five sizes cover everything from a single ADA-compliant suite to a festival crowd. Every one has flushing china toilets, running water and climate control. Tell us your guest count and how long the event runs, and we will size it.

2-Station Restroom Trailer staged for the southern Napa Valley events

2-Station Restroom Trailer

One women’s suite and one men’s suite for up to about 150 guests, in a compact box that fits into a driveway or garden path. 105 gallons of fresh water, a 300-gallon waste tank and a single 20A/120V circuit make it the pick for backyard weddings and engagement parties.

3-Station Restroom Trailer, delivered to venues from Napa to American Canyon

3-Station Restroom Trailer

Two women’s suites and one men’s suite for up to about 225 guests, sized for the everyday mid-size gathering, from a milestone birthday to a company off-site. 200 gallons of fresh water, a 400-gallon waste tank, one 20A/120V circuit.

5-Station Restroom Trailer for rent near Yountville and Napa

5-Station Restroom Trailer

Women’s side with 3 stalls and 2 sinks, men’s side with 1 stall, 1 urinal and 1 sink, built for 150 to 450 guests so a full reception never waits. 200 gallons of fresh water, a 520-gallon waste tank, one 20A/120V circuit within 100 feet.

9-Station Restroom Trailer available for memorials at home around Napa

9-Station Restroom Trailer

Women’s side with 5 stalls and 2 sinks, men’s side with 2 stalls, 2 urinals and 1 sink, sized for 400 to 900 guests so hundreds of people can move through the line at once. Two AC units, two 20A/120V circuits, a 750-gallon waste tank.

ADA + 2 Restroom Trailer staged for the southern Napa Valley events

ADA + 2 Restroom Trailer

One women’s suite, one men’s suite and one ADA unisex suite with a self-contained ramp, built to federal and California ADA requirements. Sized for events up to about 200 guests or job sites up to about 30 crew, with 210 gallons of fresh water on board.

An 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe and an ADA + 6 configuration are also in the fleet for big productions and larger guest counts. If you are between sizes, we spec it to your guest count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the day calls for.

Statewide coverage runs through our California restroom trailer hub, with units sized to the guest count.

Other upscale bathroom trailer rentals we handle around Napa

Most calls we take for jobs around Napa fall into three groups. A family gathering at home after a funeral. A wedding on a vineyard, ranch or estate lawn. A race, tournament or crowd too big for the park bathrooms. Each one asks for a different setup.

BottleRock and Expo vendor areas

BottleRock fills the Napa Valley Expo on Memorial Day weekend, and the Town and Country Fair returns August 6 to 9. Artist, VIP and staff areas want real restrooms away from the public lines.

A Lavatory 9-Station restroom trailer with two entry stairs parked on a park lawn next to fenced tennis courts

First Street Phase II job site

The hotel and condo project at First and Main runs into 2027. Owners, architects and inspectors appreciate an executive restroom trailer instead of a crew unit.

Harvest parties and tastings

September and October bring picking crews, harvest dinners and trade tastings. A private trailer keeps guests out of the winery’s working spaces.

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Napa-area events

Restaurant and home remodels

A remodel can shut off the plumbing for weeks. A 2-Station by the back door keeps a household or a restaurant crew going until the work is done.

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Napa-area events

Power shutoffs and broken water lines

A PG&E shutoff can stop a hillside well pump for days. Our trailers carry their own water, so a home or business keeps a working bathroom.

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for Napa-area events

Corporate retreats and offsites

Wine country offsites at estates and resorts often put the dinner on a lawn far from the building. A deluxe trailer keeps the night on schedule.

What ties these together is the guest experience. Nobody remembers a restroom that worked, but everybody remembers one that did not. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple counties away, getting a luxury trailer to a Napa date, even a last-minute one, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Ready to plan

Four short steps to bathroom trailers in Napa

Booking should be the easy part of planning an event. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the event

Share your date, your rough guest count, and the venue. That is enough for us to point you to the right size trailer.

2

We match the trailer and site

We pair you with a unit, confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, and stock it so it is ready and fresh before the first guest.

4

Enjoy it, we handle pickup

The trailer holds up through your whole event while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

The working details

How to clear a spot for bathroom trailer rentals in Napa

Events in a City of Napa park or street with more than 250 people need a special event permit. The city takes applications up to 12 months ahead and no later than 90 days before the date, and asks new events to apply 180 days out. Its restroom rule is one restroom for every 100 to 200 attendees and one ADA restroom for every 10. If only one restroom is needed, it has to be the ADA one.

Food vendors bring their own rule. The city wants one restroom and a hand washing station with running water for every 15 food workers, within 200 feet of each booth and 50 feet from a storm drain. Near the river, nothing goes within 50 feet of the top of the bank. A trailer-mounted generator must be grounded, carry a fire extinguisher and pass a city inspection. We plan to every one of these points.

Private property outside the city works differently. In unincorporated Napa County, an event of more than 200 people needs a temporary event license, filed at least 60 days ahead and signed by the property owner. A family memorial or backyard party at home usually needs no permit at all. We are happy to share unit specs for any application.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for Napa-area events

What we cover on ADA and venue access

  • ADA-accessible units with a self-contained ramp, wide door, grab bars, and turning room.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach and easy to service.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator staged when the site has no hookup.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some venues and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, and event restrooms. Tell us your venue and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the venue or the city as well.

Temporary bathroom rentals for Napa races, tournaments and stadium overflow

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked in a winery lot with vineyard rows and wooded hills behind it

The Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon drew more than 6,700 runners on March 1, 2026, finishing downtown after miles on the Silverado Trail. The Napa Half Marathon starts at Skyline Park each October. The city’s permit packet says races and walks may need extra restrooms because the crowd spreads out, and that is exactly how we plan them.

Kennedy Park is the other big one. It covers about 204 acres along the river with two softball diamonds, a baseball field and two multi-use fields. The Heroes of the Valley charity softball tournament runs games from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. A full day of teams and families wears out a park restroom fast, and a 9-Station near the diamonds takes the pressure off.

Pro golf comes back to Silverado Resort in 2027, with the PGA Tour event set for July 26 to August 1 on the North Course. Hospitality tents, volunteer areas and parking lots all sit far from clubhouse bathrooms. Upscale restroom trailers fit those spots, and the AC matters in late July.

For any course or tournament, we map units to where people stand and wait: start corrals, finish lines, team areas and the food row. Runners want speed, so we pair a bigger unit with an ADA trailer at the busiest spot. Families at a softball tournament want a clean room with running water, and they notice the difference.

Worth a minute

Our luxury restroom trailers in pictures, ready to roll to Napa

Our restroom trailers, and the kinds of events we set them up for. Backyard weddings, vineyard receptions, corporate lots, film sets, and the festival gates where the lines have to move.

Luxury bathroom trailer rentals for vineyard, ranch and backyard weddings in Napa

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer on a concrete pad under a large oak, with vineyard rows, a white rail fence and wine barrels behind it

Weddings are the biggest reason people call us, and Napa has more vineyard wedding dates than almost anywhere. Under the county’s 1990 winery rules, most wineries cannot host weddings, so a big share of receptions land at private estates, ranch properties and family vineyards. Those places have a house bathroom or two and nothing built for 200 guests.

Long dinners with wine mean more trips to the restroom, not fewer. The City of Napa’s own event packet suggests 15 to 20 percent more restrooms where alcohol is served, and we plan the same way on private land. For 200 guests over a five-hour reception, a 5-Station usually covers it, with an ADA + 2 added if the guest list runs older.

Placement takes a walk around. A Carneros property may have gravel ranch roads and soft soil after a fall rain. A hillside estate off Mount Veeder Road or Atlas Peak Road may have a tight gate, a steep drive and oak limbs over the path. We ask for photos or drive the route before the day, so the trailer lands close to the tent without a scramble.

Inside, the rooms match the party. Guests find china toilets, lit mirrors and air conditioning on a 95 degree September afternoon, then heat once the Carneros air cools after sunset. Lawn ceremonies at resorts such as Meritage, Carneros Resort and Silverado can also sit a long walk from the main building’s restrooms, and a trailer near the lawn fixes that.

Think it through

Where the money goes when you rent private restroom trailers in Napa

The 2-Station Restroom Trailer, our compact luxury unit, available for Napa-area events

Think about what a Napa event actually costs to put on. The venue, the catering, the flowers, the photographer, the hours of planning. Then picture a guest walking out of a hot plastic box in the middle of all of it. Nobody plans for that. The restroom is the one vendor every single guest uses, often more than once, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole event by.

A luxury restroom trailer protects everything else you spent on. It reads like an extension of the venue, holds up through a full day of guests, and gives people one less thing to remember for the wrong reason. Set against the total cost of the day, it is a small line item that quietly carries a lot of the impression, which is exactly why the hosts who have been burned once book the trailer first the next time.

The night it fails

Clean through the last guest: servicing mobile restroom trailers in Napa

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked in a winery lot with vineyard rows and wooded hills behind it

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator, and stocks it before your first guest arrives. When the event wraps, we come back and haul it away. You never touch the logistics. That part is on us.

For longer or higher-traffic bookings in Napa, we offer an on-site attendant who keeps the trailer stocked and spotless through the event, and we pump and refresh the unit so it holds up from the first guest to the last. That always-fresh standard is the difference between a restroom guests use once and one they are glad to use all night.

Worth noting

Setup examples for bathroom trailer rentals in Napa

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Napa-area events

Typical setup: a Saturday memorial at a Browns Valley home

When a family expects about 100 people after a service, we place an ADA + 2 on the driveway near the side gate. The crew levels it, checks the ramp and lights, and leaves before guests arrive. Pickup happens on your schedule.

Typical setup: a 220 guest Carneros vineyard wedding

When dinner runs five hours with wine, we bring a 5-Station and an ADA + 2 and set them on a gravel pad near the tent. Both trailers get stocked the day before. A generator sits behind a hedge if the barn has no spare circuit.

Typical setup: a softball tournament weekend at Kennedy Park

When teams play from morning to evening for two days, we park a 9-Station between the diamonds and the food area. After Saturday’s last game, our crew pumps the tanks and restocks for Sunday.

Napa neighborhoods we serve with deluxe restroom trailers

A Lavatory 9-Station restroom trailer with two entry stairs parked on a park lawn next to fenced tennis courts

We deliver across Napa, from downtown and the Oxbow to Carneros, Coombsville and the Silverado foothills, and up the valley to Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga. Our California restroom trailer rentals reach every part of the state, including Vallejo luxury restroom trailers just south on Highway 29, Santa Rosa bathroom trailer rentals over the hill in Sonoma County and Vacaville portable restroom trailers on the I-80 side. For wine country events that cross both valleys, see our Napa and Sonoma bathroom trailer page.

We cover Napa luxury restroom trailer rentals across California. Neighborhoods and towns we serve include Downtown Napa, Oxbow District, Fuller Park, Alta Heights, Browns Valley, Old Sofia, Napa Abajo, Linda Vista, Bel Aire, Silverado, Coombsville, Carneros, Mount Veeder, Atlas Peak, Soda Canyon, American Canyon, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, Sonoma, Vallejo, Fairfield.

For a venue elsewhere in the state, start from the California restroom trailer page.

Downtown Napa

First Street, Main Street and Veterans Park hold the city’s street festivals. Event days start with road closures, so we deliver early and park clear of the 20 foot fire lane.

Oxbow district

Oxbow Commons sits by the river, and the city keeps portable restrooms 50 feet back from the top of the bank. We plan placement around that line.

Fuller Park and Old Town

Older homes on tight lots host Porchfest crowds and family parties. Small 2-Station units fit narrow driveways here.

Coombsville

Rural lots, small vineyards and Tulocay Cemetery sit on the east side. Many memorial receptions happen at homes along these roads.

Carneros

Vineyard estates between Napa and Sonoma host weddings and harvest dinners. Evenings cool fast, so the heaters get used.

Silverado and Atlas Peak

Resort lawns and foothill homes host weddings and golf events. Steep drives here get a route check first.

Most Napa rentals can be delivered the same day, and our dispatch line answers 24/7 for last-minute and emergency dates.

Details people ask about restroom trailers around Napa

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Napa-area events
Can I keep a mobile restroom trailer on a Napa construction site or remodel for a few months?

Yes. Long-term rentals are common, from a kitchen remodel to a downtown build like First Street Phase II. We set the trailer once and come back on a pump and restock schedule you approve. Owners and inspectors get a clean, heated room instead of a plastic unit.

Is my sloped Napa hillside lot okay for a portable bathroom trailer, or does it need flat ground?

The trailer needs a fairly level spot about the size of a parking space, plus a clear path for the truck. Our jacks handle a gentle slope. Steep drives, tight gates and low oak limbs are the real limits, so send photos and we will tell you where it fits. A driveway is often the best spot.

Where do I land on trailer size for 180 wedding guests and a five-hour dinner with wine?

For 180 guests over five hours with wine, a 5-Station is a good fit. If many guests are older, add an ADA + 2 near the tent. For 300 or more, or a long night with a full bar, a 9-Station is the safer pick. Call us with the count and the timeline, and we will size it.

What makes a luxury restroom trailer different from a porta potty?

A porta potty is a plastic box with a holding tank. Our trailers have flushing china toilets, sinks with running water, mirrors, lighting and AC and heat in every room. Women and men use separate rooms with locking doors. Guests at a Napa wedding or memorial notice the difference right away.

When do you drop off and pick up the trailer for a Saturday event?

Most Saturday events get delivery on Friday or early Saturday morning, with pickup on Sunday or Monday. We give you a delivery window ahead of time. For downtown events, we deliver before the road closure starts. Rush delivery for a memorial or an emergency is often possible, so call us.

How does the trailer get water, and can it use my hose instead of its tank?

Each unit carries a fresh water tank and a waste tank, so it works with no hookups. A garden hose can feed it on a longer rental, which saves refills. Waste always stays in the trailer’s own tank until our truck pumps it. It never drains into your septic or the street.

Do I need to reserve early for a September or October harvest wedding?

Yes. Harvest weekends are the busiest stretch of the Napa year, and those dates fill months ahead. Many couples book six to twelve months out. If your date is close, still call, since we often have a unit staged nearby.

Will the trailer work for guests who use a wheelchair or walker?

Yes, when you add our ADA + 2. It has a ramp with handrails and a wide accessible room. The City of Napa asks for one ADA restroom per 10 at permitted events. At a private home, we place it near the walkway on the firmest ground.

What happens if PG&E shuts off power during my Napa event?

The trailer keeps working on its own water tanks, and the lights and AC need only a small circuit. During a shutoff, we bring a quiet generator. We watch Red Flag forecasts in fall and plan backup power for hillside events ahead of time.

Can a deluxe restroom trailer go on the lawn at Oxbow Commons or a riverside site?

Yes, with the right spacing. The city keeps portable restrooms 50 feet back from the top of the river bank and 50 feet from storm drains. Oxbow Commons events also need extra insurance paperwork from the flood district. We plan placement on your site map before delivery.

Could a temporary bathroom trailer keep my home or restaurant open after an earthquake or a broken water main?

Yes. After the 2014 South Napa earthquake, many buildings lost water and plumbing for days. A trailer with its own tanks gives a household, office or restaurant working bathrooms while repairs happen. Call us and we will tell you how fast a unit can get there.

A hillside checklist for placing a luxury bathroom trailer at a Napa estate or home

Most delivery problems on Napa properties come from the road, not the party. Before your date, walk from the street to the spot you have in mind. Look for gates narrower than about 10 feet, oak limbs lower than about 13 feet, sharp turns and steep pitches. Take photos at each one and send them to us. On Mount Veeder, Atlas Peak and Soda Canyon roads, this one step saves most of the trouble.

Then look at the landing spot. It should be roughly level, firm and close to a walkway, with room for the stairs or the ADA ramp. Gravel and pavement are best. Lawn is fine in summer, though fall rain softens Carneros soil, so we may bring plywood. If the event is at a rural property, check whether it needs a county temporary event license, which applies to gatherings of more than 200 people.

How to time your booking around Napa’s harvest and festival calendar

Napa’s busy season stacks up fast. BottleRock fills Memorial Day weekend, the Town and Country Fair lands in early August, and harvest runs from August through October. Weddings, harvest dinners and trade tastings pile onto the same weekends. Those dates book first, and they book months ahead.

If your date falls in September or October, lock in the trailer when you lock in the venue or the caterer. Spring dates around the Napa Valley Marathon and summer weekends fill next. Winter has the most open dates, though rain means planning for firm ground. Short notice still happens for memorials and emergencies, so call even when your date is close.

City of Napa permits and licenses

Keeping bathrooms working through a Napa quake, fire or power shutoff

Napa has seen it all in a short span. The 2014 South Napa earthquake broke water lines across town. The 2017 Atlas Fire and the 2020 Glass Fire forced evacuations, and PG&E shutoffs still cut power to hillside homes in fire season. When the water stops or a well pump has no power, the bathrooms in a house, office or restaurant stop with it.

A mobile bathroom unit with its own tanks solves that for days or weeks. Make a short plan ahead of time: where a trailer could park, who has a key to the gate, and a backup outlet or room for a generator. Agencies and shelters can also call us for larger units, and we work with them as a SAM.gov registered vendor. Keep our number with your emergency supplies.

Ready.gov power outage planning

What changes the quote on a Napa portable restroom rental

Several things move a quote, and none of them is a mystery. Guest count and event length decide the trailer size. Distance and road access matter, especially on long or steep private drives. The number of days matters, along with how many service visits a longer rental needs. Power counts too: a site with a spare circuit costs less to set up than one that needs a generator.

Timing plays a part. A Saturday in October books harder than a Tuesday in February. Add-ons like an ADA + 2, a second unit for a far corner of the venue, or extra restocking during a long party also shift the total. Call us with your date, address and guest count, and we will give you a clear quote.

Getting a VIP bathroom trailer into a downtown Napa street event or Expo load-in

Downtown events run on tight windows. First Street closures start early, vendors crowd the curb, and the Expo has set gates and load-in times. A 20 foot emergency lane has to stay open through the whole event space. Our crew works off your site map and the organizer’s load-in schedule, so the trailer is placed before the crowds and the food trucks arrive.

Tell us where power drops are, where stages and food rows sit, and where the ADA route runs. We place restrooms where lines can form without blocking an exit. On multi-day events, restrooms must be cleaned at the end of each day under city rules, so we set a nightly service time with you ahead of opening day.
