Why choose The Lavatory

VIP restroom trailer rentals in San Mateo, done right by The Lavatory

We do not own a single plastic unit. Every trailer we bring to San Mateo has flushing china toilets, running water at the sinks, real lighting and its own heat and air conditioning, because that is the only kind of equipment on our lot. That means there is no cheaper box to swap in when June gets busy. The trailer in your quote is the trailer that backs up your driveway. Planners who have booked our luxury restroom trailer rentals for one graduation tend to call us again for the next one. Call us with your date and head count, or ask for a free quote online, and we will tell you the exact unit we would send.

We own every trailer

We run a direct fleet, not a reseller passing your order to someone else. Our own crew drives, sets and services the trailer, and the person who answers the phone can see the real schedule.

Rooms that feel like a home bathroom

Guests get a flushing toilet, a sink with running water, a mirror and lights. Women’s and men’s rooms have their own doors and their own stairs.

Heat on foggy evenings

The Peninsula cools off fast after sunset in June. Every room has a heater, so a late reception or a night show stays comfortable.

Hillside driveway scouting

San Mateo hill streets are narrow with steep drives and tight gates. We check the route, the slope and the overhead branches before delivery day, so the trailer gets in on the first try.

Proof from the venue managers who have booked our luxury restroom trailers

The companies that could rent anything still call us for restrooms, because a cheap plastic unit at a launch party or a shareholder event ruins everything the day is meant to say. The Lavatory has provided luxury restrooms for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A luxury restroom is the one vendor a guest uses and remembers, for better or worse, so the trailer has to be stocked, clean and working from the first guest to the last. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every San Mateo booking, from a backyard engagement party to a festival gate.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Portable restroom trailers for San Mateo graduations, parish festivals and campus days

For a 200-guest wedding on a San Mateo hillside lot or the family seats at a stadium graduation, the 5-Station is the trailer we send most. It needs one standard 20 A 120 V circuit within 100 feet, and its heater matters here on foggy June nights more than its air conditioner does.

A Lavatory restroom trailer with an aluminum ADA ramp and landing on a park lawn beside a paved walkway under shade trees

Graduation week is the busiest stretch of the San Mateo calendar for us. In 2026 three public high schools held graduation on the same Thursday, May 28: San Mateo High at 4 p.m., and Aragon and Hillsdale at 5:30 p.m., each on its own stadium field. College of San Mateo held commencement the week before, on May 22, at the new Plaza of the Sun, an outdoor stage area that looks out over the bay. Families show up all at once, sit for two hours and then all move at the end. Stadium restrooms were built for football crowds that come and go. A graduation crowd is different.

Our plan for a stadium ceremony puts an ADA + 2 by the main gate, where older relatives and wheelchair users come in, and a 5-Station or 9-Station near the family seating. We deliver the afternoon before, run power and test every room, then pump and restock right after the ceremony. On a hill campus like College of San Mateo, guests park far from the event, so a trailer at the edge of the Plaza of the Sun saves them a long walk to a building that may be locked for the evening.

Parish festivals are the other big school and church job here. The St. Gregory Parish Festival fills the grounds on Hacienda Street in mid-October with rides, games, music and a food line that runs late on Friday and all day Saturday. Church halls and school wings are often locked or only partly open during a festival. Volunteers working the food booths need a restroom close to their stations. A two-day festival gets a full service between the Friday close and the Saturday open, so the second day starts as clean as the first.

Smaller campus and church days add up too. Junipero Serra High plays football and baseball at Danny Frisella Memorial Stadium on West 20th Avenue, and alumni weekends bring older guests who appreciate a real bathroom with a sink and a mirror. First communion receptions, outdoor services, school carnivals and fundraising dinners in a church parking lot all fit a 2-Station or 3-Station. Book those May dates early. Every rental company on the Peninsula is short on trailers that last week of May.

What every restroom suite comes with

Flushing china toilets

Real porcelain toilets with a foot flush, the same fixtures your guests use at home, not a chemical tank.

Running-water sinks

Stainless steel sinks with real running water, hand soap, and towels, fed by onboard water tanks so you are covered even without a hookup.

Climate control

Air conditioning for a summer afternoon and heat for a cold evening, so the trailer stays comfortable no matter the season.

Framed mirrors and lighting

Oversized framed vanity mirrors, warm interior lighting, and finished flooring that reads like a venue restroom, not a jobsite.

Fully stocked, always fresh

Premium toilet paper, towels, soap, and fragrance, restocked and pumped so the unit stays fresh from the first guest to the last.

Power and water handled

Onboard water tanks plus a generator when your site has no hookup, so the trailer runs anywhere from a vineyard to an open field.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 5-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your San Mateo guest count.

Every configuration lives on the luxury restroom trailer service page. Here is how we match one to a California event.

Picking a size from our restroom trailers for your San Mateo event

An 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe and an ADA + 6 configuration are also in the fleet for big productions and larger guest counts. If you are between sizes, we spec it to your guest count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the day calls for.

Statewide coverage runs through our California restroom trailer hub, with units sized to the guest count.

Other mobile restroom trailer rentals we handle around San Mateo

Most of our calls for San Mateo work fall into three groups. Schools, colleges and churches booking for big outdoor days. Couples and planners hosting weddings on private lots and garden venues. Producers who need a private restroom behind the stage at larger events. Each one has its own problems, and we plan for them before the truck leaves.

Company picnics at Coyote Point

County Parks picnic sites by the marina book up to a year ahead, and the park restrooms are shared with everyone. A 3-Station near your site keeps your staff close to the food and the volleyball court.

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer lit up at night on a paver driveway, with lights above both doors and lit stair rails

Golf tournaments at Poplar Creek

A shotgun start puts 140 players on the course at once, and course restrooms are spaced for golfers playing through. A trailer at the turn or by the dinner tent fixes the gap.

Bathroom remodels in older homes

Many houses in San Mateo Park, Baywood and North Central have one or two bathrooms. When the main one is torn out for six to ten weeks, a 2-Station in the driveway keeps the family at home.

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events

Bay Meadows and Hillsdale job sites

Sales offices, owner site tours and job site trailers on long builds need an executive restroom that clients will use. We set up long-term units with weekly service.

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events

Restaurant renovations downtown

A restaurant that keeps its patio open while the inside restrooms are rebuilt needs a guest-grade option, not a plastic box at the curb. Our trailers fit a side lot or a rear alley.

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events

Storms and main breaks

When a storm floods a street or a water main breaks, homes and businesses lose their bathrooms fast. Call us 24/7. Our trailers carry their own water and waste tanks, so they keep working while repairs happen.

What ties these together is the guest experience. Nobody remembers a restroom that worked, but everybody remembers one that did not. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple counties away, getting a luxury trailer to a San Mateo date, even a last-minute one, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Private restroom trailers behind the stage at the County Fair, the Aloha Festival and Central Park

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked on the grass edge of a park road under large cypress trees

The San Mateo County Event Center on Saratoga Drive hosts the biggest crowds in the city. The 2026 San Mateo County Fair ran June 5 to 14, its 92nd year, with more than 120,000 visitors, a Main Stage concert series and a new drone light show after the last act each night. Artists, stage crews, sponsors and VIP guests should never stand in the midway line. A backstage trailer on its own power line, with a key held by the production team, gives them a clean room a few steps from the stage.

The Bay Area Aloha Festival is a good example of why backstage restrooms matter. Its 31st year ran August 8 and 9, 2026, fully outdoors at the Event Center, with the main stage in front of the Central Mall Lawn and food vendors in the West Parking Lot. Hula and Tahitian dance groups perform all day long. Dancers change costumes and wait to go on, often in the afternoon wind. A 3-Station behind the stage gives them a lit, warm room to change and clean up without crossing the crowd.

Central Park has its own summer stage. The free Central Park Music Series plays every Thursday on Fitzgerald Field, June 18 through August 6 in 2026, with bands like Pop Fiction, Electric Rodeo and the Bud E. Luv Orchestra. A season-long 2-Station behind the stage stays locked between shows and gets serviced on a fixed day each week. Downtown events like the September Arts and Culture Fest on September 26 can use the same setup for bands and mural painters.

For sponsor tents and VIP areas, the 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe is the trailer we suggest. Every guest gets a private room with a door that locks, a sink and a mirror, which is what a sponsor expects after paying for a premium area. We place VIP units out of the public sight line, run cords so nobody trips, and service them during the slow part of the day. Our crew is on call if anything needs attention during the show.

Luxury bathroom trailer rentals for backyard estates, garden weddings and coast-side ranch receptions

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked beside a landscaped garden with an olive tree and a shade pergola

Most San Mateo weddings we work happen on private property. The hill neighborhoods west of El Camino, like San Mateo Park, Baywood, the Highlands and Sugarloaf, have big lots with room for a tent, and Hillsborough next door has nothing but private estates. A house with two or three bathrooms cannot take 150 guests over six hours. Hosts also do not want guests walking through the kitchen and up the hall. A 3-Station or 5-Station on the driveway keeps the party outside and the house clean.

These lots take some planning. Streets in the hills are narrow and curvy, driveways are steep, gates are tight, and old oaks hang low. We look at the address on a map, ask for photos of the driveway and the gate, and measure the turn before delivery day. When the slope is steep, we level the trailer on jacks and blocks so the doors swing right and the floor sits flat. On a soft winter lawn we set it on firm ground or plywood instead of the grass.

Garden venues work a little differently. The San Mateo Garden Center on Parkside Way has a main hall for about 115, plus a gazebo and patio where many ceremonies happen. The Japanese Garden in Central Park holds ceremonies by its koi pond, and the restrooms nearby are shared with the public. A private trailer set by the parking area gives the wedding its own clean rooms. It also takes pressure off a small building during a long bar service.

Plenty of San Mateo couples marry over the hill on the coast side, at ranch and farm venues along Highway 92 toward Half Moon Bay, such as Long Branch Saloon and Farms on Verde Road. Rural venues like these sit on wells and septic systems built for a farm house, not for 200 guests and an open bar. Our trailers carry their own fresh water and sealed waste tanks, so none of that load lands on the property. Highway 92 is a slow two-lane road on weekends, so we deliver early on a weekday when we can.

What you get

Where private restroom trailers fit in a San Mateo event budget

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events

Think about what a San Mateo event actually costs to put on. The venue, the catering, the flowers, the photographer, the hours of planning. Then picture a guest walking out of a hot plastic box in the middle of all of it. Nobody plans for that. The restroom is the one vendor every single guest uses, often more than once, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole event by.

A luxury restroom trailer protects everything else you spent on. It reads like an extension of the venue, holds up through a full day of guests, and gives people one less thing to remember for the wrong reason. Set against the total cost of the day, it is a small line item that quietly carries a lot of the impression, which is exactly why the hosts who have been burned once book the trailer first the next time.

Your schedule

Who keeps upscale restroom trailers clean once they reach San Mateo

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked on the grass edge of a park road under large cypress trees

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator, and stocks it before your first guest arrives. When the event wraps, we come back and haul it away. You never touch the logistics. That part is on us.

For longer or higher-traffic bookings in San Mateo, we offer an on-site attendant who keeps the trailer stocked and spotless through the event, and we pump and refresh the unit so it holds up from the first guest to the last. That always-fresh standard is the difference between a restroom guests use once and one they are glad to use all night.

What crews ask

Securing bathroom trailers for your San Mateo date

Booking should be the easy part of planning an event. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the event

Share your date, your rough guest count, and the venue. That is enough for us to point you to the right size trailer.

2

We match the trailer and site

We pair you with a unit, confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, and stock it so it is ready and fresh before the first guest.

4

Enjoy it, we handle pickup

The trailer holds up through your whole event while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Know before you book

Placing bathroom trailers on grass or pavement in San Mateo

Events on city streets, in city parks or on city lots need a City of San Mateo Special Community Event Permit. New events must apply at least 90 days ahead, and a repeat event that matches an approved one may file closer to 45 days. The city’s guide says events expecting 100 or more people may be required to provide portable restrooms, depending on the length and location. The site plan has to show where the restrooms, stages, tents and power will go, and certificates of insurance are due 14 working days before the event.

San Mateo County Environmental Health does not allow waste water to be dumped on the ground or into storm drains. Liquid waste has to go to a sewer or another approved method. Our trailers hold waste in sealed tanks, and a licensed truck pumps them, so this rule is handled for you. If your event also has food booths, the county expects hand washing at each booth where food is prepared.

Accessibility is part of every permit. The city asks event plans to meet federal disability access rules, and our ADA + 2 gives you a full accessible room with a ramp. Private property events do not need the city permit, but neighbors still matter. For an evening wedding in the hills, we schedule pickup for the morning after and keep the trailer lights aimed at the doors, not the house next door. Want a hand with the site plan? Call us and we will send a drawing of the trailer footprint.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events

Ramps, suites and placement on the site

  • ADA-accessible units with a self-contained ramp, wide door, grab bars, and turning room.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach and easy to service.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator staged when the site has no hookup.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some venues and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, and event restrooms. Tell us your venue and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the venue or the city as well.

Common ways to set up portable restroom trailers in San Mateo

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events

Typical setup: a stadium graduation on a weekday evening

When a high school graduation starts at 5:30, we deliver the afternoon before and park an ADA + 2 by the main gate and a 9-Station behind the family bleachers. We test power, lights and water that evening. Right after the last name is read, our crew pumps the tanks and restocks, and we tow both units out before classes start.

Typical setup: a tented wedding on a hillside lot

For a 180-guest tent wedding on a hillside San Mateo lot, we send a 5-Station and set it on the flattest part of the driveway, leveled on jacks and blocks. The trailer plugs into one outdoor outlet within 100 feet. We stock extra paper and soap for the bar hours and pick up the morning after, quietly, so the neighbors are not woken up.

Typical setup: a two-day parish festival

When a parish festival runs Friday night and all day Saturday, we place a 9-Station near the food court and a 3-Station by the ride area for families. After the Friday close, our crew pumps, refills fresh water, restocks and cleans every room. Saturday opens with trailers that look like nobody has used them yet.

San Mateo neighborhoods we serve with luxury portable restroom rentals

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer lit up at night on a paver driveway, with lights above both doors and lit stair rails

We deliver across all of San Mateo and the mid-Peninsula, from downtown and the Event Center to the hills off 280 and the bay side neighborhoods. Burlingame, Hillsborough, Foster City and Belmont are on the same routes. To the north, we handle San Francisco restroom trailer rentals, and to the south our team covers San Jose luxury restroom trailers. Closer to the airport, we also set up South San Francisco bathroom trailer rentals for campus events and backyard parties. Across the San Mateo Bridge, we deliver Hayward portable restroom trailers too. Our California restroom trailer rentals reach every corner of the state, and we serve all 50 states.

We cover San Mateo luxury restroom trailer rentals across California. Neighborhoods and towns we serve include Downtown San Mateo, Central Park, North Central, San Mateo Park, Baywood, Aragon, Hayward Park, Sunnybrae, Shoreview, Fiesta Gardens, Bay Meadows, Hillsdale, Beresford Park, Laurelwood, Sugarloaf, The Highlands, Baywood Knolls, Mariners Island, Marina Lagoon, Coyote Point, Burlingame, Hillsborough, Foster City, Belmont.

For a venue elsewhere in the state, start from the California restroom trailer page.

Downtown San Mateo

Central Park, B Street and the blocks around the Caltrain station host most public events. Curb space is tight, so we deliver early and keep the truck off the main streets.

San Mateo Park and Baywood

Older homes on big lots make these neighborhoods the center of our backyard wedding work. Streets are narrow and lined with parked cars, so we often ask hosts to clear a curb space the day before.

The Highlands, Sugarloaf and Laurelwood

Hill homes near 280 have steep drives and great views for tented parties. Leveling the trailer properly on a slope is most of the job here.

Hillsdale and Bay Meadows

New homes, offices and the long Hillsdale rebuild bring both events and job sites. Long-term units for sales offices and site trailers get weekly service.

Shoreview, Mariners Island and Coyote Point

Bay side neighborhoods, office parks and the Coyote Point picnic areas host company outings. Self-contained tanks matter when the nearest water tap is a long way off.

Beresford Park and the Garden Center

The Garden Center on Parkside Way and the park around it host many smaller weddings and parties. A 2-Station or 3-Station beside the parking area takes pressure off the building.

Most San Mateo rentals can be delivered the same day, and our dispatch line answers 24/7 for last-minute and emergency dates.

Asked often: restroom units in San Mateo

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for San Mateo-area events
Will you have an accessible ADA bathroom trailer for my grandmother at our San Mateo graduation party?

Yes. Our ADA + 2 has a full accessible unisex room with grab bars and space to turn a wheelchair, plus a self-contained ramp built to the California standard. It also has a women’s room and a men’s room on the same trailer. We set the ramp on level ground close to where guests arrive. For graduation parties and church events, it is usually the first unit we suggest.

Can a luxury bathroom trailer fit up a steep driveway in the San Mateo hills?

Most of the time, yes. We ask for the address, a photo of the driveway and the gate width, then plan the route and the turn. Our trailers can be leveled on jacks and blocks on a moderate slope so the floor sits flat. If the driveway is too steep or tight, we set the trailer on the street side of the property or in a nearby flat spot and plan the path for guests.

Is a 5-Station enough for a 200-guest wedding that runs six hours?

For most weddings that size, yes. The 5-Station handles about 150 to 450 guests, or 200 to 500 for a five hour event. A long open bar pushes use up, so for 200 guests and a late night we sometimes pair the 5-Station with a 2-Station near the dance floor. Tell us your guest count, your hours and whether there is a bar, and we will size it for you.

Where do you place a long-term luxury restroom on a Bay Meadows or Hillsdale job site?

We put it close to the site office or the sales trailer, on firm, level ground, with a clear path for our service truck. A long-term trailer needs a standard outlet and a spot our pump truck can reach every week. We service it on a fixed day, pumping, refilling water and restocking. Rentals can run for weeks or for the length of the build.

What day do you deliver, and when do you pick up after a Saturday event?

For most events we deliver the day before, so the trailer is set, leveled, tested and stocked with time to spare. For a Saturday wedding, that usually means Friday afternoon. Pickup is normally Sunday morning or Monday, at a time that respects neighbors. For graduations and school events we can work around the campus schedule.

When do I need a water hookup, and when can the trailer run on its own tanks?

For a one-day event, the onboard fresh water tank is usually enough, and no hookup is needed. For multi-day festivals or long rentals, we either refill the tank on each service visit or connect to a garden hose spigot if one is close. Waste goes into a sealed tank either way. The only hookup almost every trailer needs is power.

How far ahead should I reserve a trailer for a San Mateo wedding in September or October?

Book as soon as you have a date. September and October are the warmest, clearest months on the Peninsula, and fall Saturdays fill up first. Graduation week in late May and the June fair window also sell out early. Three to six months ahead is safe for most dates. A call to us takes five minutes and holds your trailer.

Do you send an attendant to restock and clean the trailer during a big event?

For large events, yes, we can. An attendant keeps paper, soap and towels stocked, wipes down rooms and keeps an eye on the tanks during the busiest hours. For smaller parties, we stock the trailer heavily before guests arrive, which covers most weddings without anyone on site. Multi-day events get a full service between days.

Does the City of San Mateo require restrooms for my park event?

It can. The city’s special event guide says events expecting 100 or more people may be required to provide portable restrooms, depending on how long the event runs and where it is. Park restroom buildings may not count as enough. We can give you the trailer specs and a footprint for your site plan.

Can you deliver to the San Mateo County Event Center or Coyote Point on short notice?

Often, yes. The Event Center has wide paved lots, which makes setup quick, and Coyote Point has room near its picnic areas. Call us with the date and location, and we will tell you right away what we have open. For emergencies like a burst pipe or a flooded building, we move as fast as our schedule allows.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor event?

The trailer is fully enclosed, lit and heated, so guests stay dry and warm inside. We set it on pavement, firm ground or plywood when lawns are soft from winter storms. Steps have handrails and non-slip treads. If you are adding a tent, leave room for a covered path to the trailer doors.

A site checklist for putting a bathroom trailer on a San Mateo hillside lot

Before any trailer goes up a hill street in San Mateo, a few questions save a lot of trouble on delivery day. How wide is the gate at its narrowest point, post to post? Is the driveway paved the whole way, and how steep is the last stretch? Are there low oak limbs, wires or eaves over the route? Where is the nearest outdoor outlet, and is it on a circuit that also runs a pool pump or a hot tub? Take a few photos from the street looking up the drive, and one from the spot where you want the trailer. Send them with the address. Most hillside setups go fine once we have seen those photos.

Placement on a slope is about the floor, not the wheels. A trailer can sit on a moderate grade once it is leveled on jacks and blocks, and that keeps the doors closing right and the sinks draining the right way. Pick a spot guests can reach on a flat, lit path, away from the tent’s main entrance but not hidden. Keep it at least a few feet off a neighbor’s fence. On winter lawns, plan for firm ground or plywood instead of grass. Ask your neighbors to keep the curb clear the day before, because a delivery truck needs room to swing the trailer into the drive.

Keeping a working bathroom during a remodel in an older San Mateo home

Many houses in San Mateo Park, Baywood and North Central were built with one full bathroom, or one and a half. A full remodel of that bathroom can take six to ten weeks once tile, plumbing and inspections are done. Families try to get by with a gym membership and a neighbor’s spare room. It wears thin fast, especially with kids. A 2-Station trailer in the driveway gives you a toilet, a sink and a mirror a few steps from the back door, with heat for winter mornings. It plugs into a standard outdoor outlet.

Ask your contractor for the real schedule, then add two weeks. Most remodels run long, and a rental that ends early is easier to handle than one that ends before the new bathroom works. We service long-term home units on a fixed day each week, pumping and restocking while you are at work. Plan where the trailer will sit so it does not block the dumpster or the contractor’s truck. When the job wraps, we pick it up on a weekday morning and leave the driveway as we found it.

A restroom backup plan for San Mateo restaurants and offices in storm season

On New Year’s Eve 2022, San Mateo got about five inches of rain when about one inch was expected. Streets near Borel Creek, Sunnybrae, San Mateo Village and Laurelwood Park flooded, and pump trouble at the Marina Lagoon station made it worse. Storms like that do not just flood streets. They back up sewer lines, knock out power and shut down restrooms in restaurants, offices and churches for days. A business that cannot offer a working restroom often cannot stay open at all.

A backup plan is simple. Know where a trailer could sit on your lot or in the alley, and where the nearest outlet is. Keep our number with your building contacts. Our trailers carry their own fresh water and sealed waste tanks, so they keep working when the building plumbing does not. A 3-Station covers most small restaurants and offices, and an ADA + 2 covers places where accessibility matters. The federal Ready.gov flood page lists more steps for your building.

What to ask a bathroom trailer rental company before you sign for a San Mateo event

Start with ownership. Ask whether the company owns the trailer or is booking it from someone else. A broker cannot always tell you which unit will show up or who will service it. Next, ask what the station count is, how many guests and hours it is rated for, and what it needs for power. Ask whether delivery, setup, stocking and pickup are included, and what service between days looks like for a multi-day event. Ask whether the trailer has heat as well as air conditioning. Peninsula evenings get cold fast in June.

Then ask about the site. Will they look at your driveway or lot before the date? Can they level the trailer on a slope? Do they have an ADA unit, and is it free on your date? Ask what happens if something goes wrong during the event and who you call. A good company answers all of this on one phone call, in plain words. If a quote leaves you guessing, call us and we will walk you through ours, line by line.

Planning restrooms for a company picnic at Coyote Point or a city park

Coyote Point Recreation Area is one of the most popular spots on the Peninsula for company picnics, with group sites near the marina that come with tables and grills. San Mateo County Parks takes reservations up to a year ahead, and groups planning to bring more than the site includes are asked to call the parks reservations desk first. City parks in San Mateo rent picnic areas online too. Park restrooms are shared with everyone else in the park that day, and on a sunny Saturday the lines get long.

For a company picnic of 150 to 300 people, a 5-Station near your site keeps staff close to the food and the games. Tell the parks office early that you plan to bring a mobile restroom trailer, so they can tell you where it may park and what access the delivery truck has. Pick a spot on pavement or firm, level ground near the road. Our trailers bring their own water, so you do not need a tap nearby. Schedule delivery for the morning of the event or the day before, and pickup after the park closes.
