Why The Lavatory

Why The Lavatory is the #1 call statewide for every occasion

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer with WOMEN and MEN doors and steel stairs, set on a paved drive under tall pines and a vintage lamp post

Oklahoma asks a lot of a restroom. A football Saturday in Norman puts more than 80,000 fans inside Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, with tailgate lots full for hours before kickoff. A barn wedding near Guthrie may have one small bathroom for 250 guests. A three week horse show at OKC Fair Park keeps exhibitors on the grounds from early morning to late night. Each of those needs a clean, private restroom that stays clean all day.

That is the job our trailers are built for. Every unit has porcelain toilets, sinks with running water, mirrors, LED lighting and a thermostat for heat and air conditioning. Guests walk up expecting a porta potty and walk out asking where the trailer came from. Crews on a long job get a restroom they will actually use, which matters when the heat index is past 105 in July.

We keep the process simple. One call or one quote request gets you a real person who sizes the trailer, checks the site and books the delivery. Our dispatch line runs 24/7, and when the need is urgent, rapid dispatch puts a trailer on the road fast.

Oklahoma customers also tell us they like dealing with the company that owns the equipment. When you call, the person you talk to can see which trailers are ready, which crew is closest and how the route looks today. There is no broker in the middle adding a day of phone tag, and no surprise when a different unit shows up than the one you were promised. The trailer in the photos is the trailer that arrives.

A fleet we own outright

Every restroom trailer we set in Oklahoma comes from our own fleet of over 250 units. We inspect each one before it leaves, and you deal with one team and one phone number from the first quote through the final pickup.

Restrooms guests remember for the right reasons

China toilets with foot flush, stainless sinks with hot and cold water, framed mirrors, soft lighting and locking doors. Hosts tell us the restroom trailer ends up being one of the details guests mention after the party.

Ready for heat, wind and ice

Each cabin runs air conditioning and heat on a thermostat. We tie units down for spring wind, protect water lines when an ice storm is on the way and schedule a service stop after the weather passes.

Want floor plans and tank sizes before you call? Start with the 5-Station luxury bathroom trailer for Oklahoma receptions, then compare the ADA + 2 accessible restroom trailer rental for Oklahoma events that most public events and job sites add.

The companies that could rent anything still call us for restrooms, because a cheap plastic unit at a launch party or a shareholder event ruins everything the day is meant to say. The Lavatory has provided luxury restrooms for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

“Emergency hero story here. Mid-celebration, the venue lost water because a valve gave out, which left zero usable toilets for an entire Oklahoma wedding party. My sister-in-law dialed up The Lavatory late that Saturday, and within sixty minutes we had a beautiful restroom trailer parked and open. Friendly crew, spotless inside, total lifesavers.”

Statewide coverage

Restroom trailers across Oklahoma, region by region, available now

We serve the whole state, from the Red River to the Kansas line and from the Arkansas border out to the Panhandle. These are the regions that fill our Oklahoma calendar, and every one of them gets the same trailers and the same 24/7 phone line.

Oklahoma City and Central Oklahoma

The metro of about a million people keeps more restroom trailers working than anywhere else in the state. OKC Fair Park hosts the Oklahoma State Fair each September and the AQHA World Championship Show for three weeks every fall. Scissortail Park, Bricktown and the Boathouse District run festivals, races and rowing events, and the Continental Coliseum and the MAPS 4 stadium are rising downtown through 2028. Edmond, Moore, Midwest City, Yukon and Mustang add steady weddings, graduations and construction work. See our luxury restroom trailer rentals in Oklahoma City.

Tulsa and Green Country

Tulsa fills Expo Square for the Tulsa State Fair in October and the Chili Bowl Nationals in January, and the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough races close downtown streets every June. Broken Arrow hosts Rooster Days in May and Scotfest in September. Industry keeps us busy too: refinery turnarounds, the Port of Catoosa, the American Airlines maintenance base and the new aluminum plant planned at the Port of Inola. See our luxury restroom trailer rentals in Tulsa.

Norman, Stillwater and the college towns

Game days at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State bring the biggest single-day crowds in the state, with tailgate lots in Stillwater opening at 8 a.m. no matter the kickoff time. Commencement weekends, alumni events and the Medieval Fair of Norman at Reaves Park, which turned 50 in 2026, round out the calendar. Edmond, home of the University of Central Oklahoma, adds its own graduation weekends and the barn wedding venues along the creeks north of town.

Lawton, Fort Sill and Southwest Oklahoma

The Lawton Fort Sill Freedom Festival moved to the Fort Sill Polo Field for 2026, and the post runs ceremonies and family days through the year. Ranch weddings, rodeos and county fairs carry the rest of the region out to Altus, Duncan and the Wichita Mountains. Lake Lawtonka and the wildlife refuge draw summer gatherings where the closest permanent restroom is miles away.

Lake Texoma, Grand Lake and lake country

Summer on the lakes means fireworks shows, fishing tournaments and lakeside weddings where the nearest restroom is a long walk away. Lake Texoma hosts the National Sand Bass Festival each June, and Grand Lake runs festivals from the Toes in the Grand kickoff in Grove to the End of Summer Bash in Bernice.

Western Oklahoma and the Panhandle

Wind farms, oil and gas sites, county fairs and wildfire base camps keep crews working far from a permanent building around Woodward, Weatherford, Elk City and Guymon. We plan these runs around the job schedule so the trailer is set, stocked and running when the crew arrives. Out here, a trailer that carries its own water and power is often the only restroom for miles, so we confirm fuel, water and service timing before the first load rolls.

Planning an event or a job anywhere in Oklahoma? Call (866) 509-6846 or request a quote and we will send the right trailer with same-day delivery when the date is close.

The fleet

Restroom trailer sizes we rent in Oklahoma, from 2 to 9 stations

Seven deluxe restroom trailers cover nearly every Oklahoma request, from a backyard graduation party of 80 people to a fairground crowd in the thousands. Each one is self-contained, climate controlled and delivered by our own crew.

The 2-Station Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

2-Station Restroom Trailer

One women's room and one men's room in a compact trailer for up to about 150 guests. It backs into a driveway or a narrow side yard, which makes it the usual pick for home receptions in Edmond, Jenks or Norman and for small company events.

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

3-Station Restroom Trailer

Two women's rooms and one men's room for up to about 225 guests. Oklahoma hosts book it for church picnics, family reunions, milestone birthdays and the overflow tent at a golf tournament.

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

5-Station Restroom Trailer

Three stalls and two sinks on the women's side and a stall, a urinal and a sink on the men's side, for 150 to 450 guests. It carries 200 gallons of fresh water and a 520 gallon waste tank, and it is the trailer most barn and ranch weddings in Oklahoma end up booking.

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer

Eight private unisex rooms, each with a toilet, a urinal and a sink, for 400 to 600 guests. Every room opens straight outside, so lines move quickly at a gala, a corporate party or a VIP tent at a concert.

The 9-Station Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

9-Station Restroom Trailer

Five stalls and two sinks for women plus two stalls, two urinals and a sink for men, sized for 400 to 900 guests. Two air conditioning units and a 750 gallon waste tank carry it through a long fair day in August.

The ADA + 2 Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

ADA + 2 Restroom Trailer

A women's room, a men's room and an accessible unisex room with its own built-in ramp. It fits events up to about 200 guests or crews up to about 30 workers and holds 210 gallons of fresh water.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for rent across Oklahoma

ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer

Four men's stations, two women's stations and an accessible unisex room with a ramp, built to federal accessibility standards. It serves public events and crews up to about 300 people when access is part of the plan.

Not sure which size fits? Send us the guest count, the hours, the date and whether alcohol is served. We will size it honestly, even when the right answer is a smaller trailer than you expected.

Sizing guide

Guest counts, tank sizes and the numbers we size by

Every Oklahoma quote starts with the same few numbers: how many people, how many hours, whether alcohol is served and what the weather is likely to do. These are the ranges we work from.

Up to about 150 guests

The 2-Station trailer holds 105 gallons of fresh water and a 300 gallon waste tank and runs on one 20 amp, 120 volt circuit. It covers a home reception or a company picnic of 80 to 150 people over four or five hours.

150 to 450 guests

The 5-Station trailer measures 14 feet 6 inches in the box and about 20 feet with the tongue. Most Oklahoma weddings of 200 to 350 guests fit here, including the barn and ranch venues around Edmond, Luther, Guthrie and Stillwater.

400 to 900 guests

The 9-Station trailer runs two air conditioning units on two 20 amp circuits and holds 750 gallons of waste. The 8-Station Private Stall carries 400 gallons of fresh water and a 1,000 gallon waste tank for 400 to 600 guests who want private rooms.

Fairs, football and festivals

For a crowd in the thousands we place two or more large trailers apart so the lines split, then pump between peak sessions. A big crowd at OKC Fair Park or a tailgate lot in Stillwater usually needs several units and scheduled service rather than one oversized trailer.

Job sites and long rentals

Federal rules under 29 CFR 1926.51 call for one toilet for 20 or fewer workers and more as the crew grows. The ADA + 2 covers crews up to about 30, and we set a weekly or twice weekly service schedule for jobs that run 30, 60 or 90 days or longer.

Space and access

Plan on 12 to 14 feet of width with the stairs or ramp out and 20 to 35 feet of length depending on the unit. Every trailer needs firm, fairly level ground and a clear path wide enough for a truck to back in, which matters on a soft pasture after spring rain.

Heat and alcohol

Hot days and open bars both shorten the time between restroom visits. On an Oklahoma afternoon above 95 degrees, or at any event with a full bar, we move up one size or add a midday pump-out so the trailer stays clean until the last guest leaves.

Where they work

Every event and every project: how Oklahoma uses our restroom trailers

Our Oklahoma work covers every kind of event and job, from weddings and football weekends to refinery turnarounds and storm response. These are the requests we see most, and each one shapes the trailer size, the placement and the service plan. If your event or job is not on this list, call anyway. Odds are we have set a trailer for something like it.

Weddings and receptions

Oklahoma's favorite venues are barns, ranches and family land, from The Barn at The Woods on Bluff Creek in Edmond to Esperanza Ranch on Route 66 in Luther and the barn venues around Guthrie and Stillwater. Many have one or two restrooms for a 300 guest list. A 3-Station or 5-Station trailer near the reception lawn fixes that, with air conditioning that matters in June.

Football, tailgates and college events

Norman and Stillwater draw the largest crowds in the state on fall Saturdays. Premium tailgate areas, hospitality tents, alumni gatherings and graduation parties book our larger units, and we time delivery around lot opening times and road closures so the trailer is ready when the gates open.

Fairs, festivals and horse shows

The Oklahoma State Fair draws around 900,000 people over eleven days, the Tulsa State Fair close to a million, and the AQHA World Show keeps exhibitors at OKC Fair Park for three weeks. Festivals like Rooster Days, Scotfest and the Medieval Fair of Norman add crowds where permanent restrooms run short.

Construction, energy and industrial work

Downtown Oklahoma City has the Continental Coliseum and the MAPS 4 stadium under way, the 2025 city bond funds hundreds of street and bridge jobs, and ACCESS Oklahoma is widening I-44. Refinery turnarounds in Tulsa, data center builds and the planned Inola aluminum plant bring large crews that need clean restrooms for months.

Tornado, ice storm and emergency response

Since 1999 the Oklahoma City area has seen six EF4 and EF5 tornadoes, and the May 2024 Barnsdall tornado wiped out that town's water system. Ice storms knock out power for days. Our self-contained temporary restroom trailers carry their own fresh water, so shelters, churches and relief sites can open restrooms with emergency delivery even when city water is down.

Corporate events, film sets and VIP guests

Company picnics, product launches, golf tournaments, concerts and film shoots all want a restroom that looks as good as the rest of the event. Oklahoma's film rebate keeps productions shooting around the state, and our private-stall units work as clean, quiet base camp restrooms between takes.

Backyard parties and family celebrations

Graduation parties, quinceañeras, anniversaries and memorials at home bring more guests than a house can handle. A portable restroom trailer in the driveway keeps guests out of the house, protects the septic system and keeps the hall bathroom free for family.

Crews and camps that need showers too can book our Oklahoma shower trailer rentals for crews, camps and storm recovery on the same call, and public events with accessibility requirements can add ADA restroom trailer rentals across Oklahoma so every guest has a room that works for them.

Tell us about your event or project, whatever it is. Call (866) 509-6846 or request a quote, and most quotes go out the same day.

Weather plan

Built for Oklahoma heat, spring storms and winter ice

A lightning storm rolling over a wet dirt road between Oklahoma wheat fields at sunset

Spring is storm season, and Oklahoma takes it seriously. March 2026 set a state record with 22 tornadoes in one month, and January 2026 tied the January record. For every spring event we watch the forecast with the host, set the trailer away from tents and trees, chock and level it on firm ground and walk through what happens if a warning goes out. If an event is called off, we wait for the all clear and then service or pick up the unit.

Summer heat is the everyday design question. Oklahoma City logged 38 days at 100 degrees or more in 2026, and humidity can push the heat index well past the air temperature. Every trailer runs air conditioning, we park in shade when the site allows it, and we add a pump-out or a larger unit for long afternoon events.

Winter brings ice. The October 2020 ice storm left some Oklahoma homes without power for 11 days, and January 2026 brought one of the worst snow and ice events in recent memory. Our cabins are heated, the water lines are protected, and on a long winter rental we schedule a service visit right after the ice passes so the restroom stays open.

Emergencies do not wait for business hours. After a tornado, an ice storm or a water main break, call our 24/7 line. We can often be there within 1 to 2 hours with emergency delivery of self-contained trailers that run on their own fresh water and power, so a shelter or relief site has working restrooms the same day.

Booking for storm season, a July heat wave or an ice storm? Call (866) 509-6846 or request a quote and our 24/7 dispatch will plan the trailer around the forecast.

How it works

Four steps from your first call to the final pickup

A Lavatory restroom trailer with women's and men's doors set on a concrete pad beside a metal farm building, with rows of orchard trees behind it

1. Call or request a quote

Tell us the date, the address, the guest count and the hours. Our phone is answered 24/7, and most quotes go out the same day.

2. We size it and check the site

We match the trailer to your crowd and look at ground, slope, gate width, power and water. For a soft pasture or a plant with badged access, we ask for photos first so the delivery goes right the first time.

3. Delivery and setup

Our crew delivers, levels, connects power and water where available, starts the air conditioning or heat and stocks the trailer with paper, soap, towels and fragrance. Setup is done well before your first guest arrives.

4. Service and pickup

For multi-day events and long job site rentals we restock and pump on a set schedule. When the work is done we pull the trailer and leave the site the way we found it.

Permits, health rules and placement in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City under a clear blue sky, with a holiday tree on the front steps

A restroom trailer on private property usually needs no permit of its own, and the landowner decides where it goes. Public property is different. Events in Oklahoma City that use parks, streets or other public space go through the city's special event permit, and the restroom count rides inside that permit. Tulsa wants special event applications 60 days ahead when a street, sidewalk or parking space closes and 40 days ahead for an event on a lot. Norman runs its own special event process.

Food vendors add health rules. The Oklahoma State Department of Health requires toilets to be conveniently located to temporary food booths, kept clean and stocked, with handwashing that has soap and single-use towels nearby. Our trailers have running-water sinks inside every room, which covers handwashing for the people using them.

Waste is regulated too. Oklahoma DEQ licenses anyone who pumps or hauls holding-tank waste under Oklahoma Administrative Code Title 252, Chapter 645, and that waste must go to a permitted treatment plant, never a storm drain. Our service visits follow that licensed chain with a paper trail.

Accessibility matters at public events. Plan at least one accessible room when restrooms are open to the public, and more as the crowd grows. Our ADA + 2 and ADA + 6 trailers have built-in ramps and accessible rooms designed to federal ADA standards. For agency and base work at Tinker or Fort Sill we provide certificates of insurance and work within the access rules.

For the source rules, see Oklahoma DEQ’s on-site sewage and septage programs, the OSHA construction sanitation standard 29 CFR 1926.51, and the City of Oklahoma City’s special event permit page.

Questions

Questions people ask about renting a restroom trailer in Oklahoma

How fast can you deliver a restroom trailer in Oklahoma?

Our dispatch line is staffed 24/7, and we offer same-day delivery across Oklahoma. For urgent needs like a storm, a water outage or a last-minute guest count jump, we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours. For weddings and planned events, booking a few weeks ahead locks in the size you want.

How far ahead should I book for a wedding or a football weekend?

For spring and fall weddings and for home football Saturdays in Norman and Stillwater, book as early as you can, since those dates fill first. That said, call us even if your date is close. We keep trailers ready for rapid same-day deployment and will tell you right away what is available.

Which trailer size do I need for my event?

A 2-Station covers up to about 150 guests. The 5-Station handles 150 to 450, and the 9-Station handles 400 to 900. Alcohol, heat and a long event push you up a size. Send us the guest count and hours and we will size it for you.

Can the trailer run without water or power hookups?

Yes. Every trailer carries its own fresh water and waste tanks, and we can supply a quiet generator when there is no outlet nearby. That is why our units work on ranches, lake properties, fairgrounds and storm sites where nothing is hooked up yet.

Can you handle several trailers for a big fair, festival or tailgate?

Yes. For crowds in the thousands we place two or more large trailers apart so the lines split, add accessible units near the entrances and schedule pumping between peak sessions. Fairgrounds, college tailgate lots, lake festivals and multi-day horse shows across Oklahoma all run this way.

What happens if severe weather hits during my event?

We set trailers on firm ground, level and chock them, keep them clear of tents and trees and watch the forecast with you. If a warning goes out, guests should follow your shelter plan, not stay in the trailer. After the storm passes we check the unit and service it.

Can a restroom trailer stay out through an Oklahoma ice storm?

Yes. Our cabins are heated, the water lines are protected, and on winter rentals we keep water moving and schedule a service visit right after an ice event. Hospitals, shelters and job sites keep our trailers running through cold snaps.

Do I need a permit for a restroom trailer in Oklahoma?

On private property, usually not. On public land or streets, the restroom count is part of the event permit from the city, such as Oklahoma City's special event permit or Tulsa's special event application. We are happy to share specs and counts for your permit file.

Do you have ADA accessible restroom trailers?

Yes. Our ADA + 2 and ADA + 6 trailers each have an accessible room with a built-in ramp, designed to federal ADA standards. Public events, schools, government jobs and many corporate events add at least one.

Do you work with government agencies, schools and military bases?

Yes. We work with cities, counties, school districts, universities and federal sites, including jobs that need certificates of insurance, badged access or scheduled delivery windows at places like Tinker Air Force Base and Fort Sill. Tell us the paperwork you need and we will have it ready before delivery day.

Do you rent restroom trailers for construction and industrial jobs?

Yes. We serve job sites, plant turnarounds, data center builds and road projects across Oklahoma on weekly, monthly or longer rentals. We set a service schedule that fits your crew size and follow OSHA sanitation rules for toilets and handwashing.

Who services the trailer and handles the waste?

We do. Our team restocks paper, soap and towels and pumps the tanks on a schedule that fits your event or job. Waste goes to a permitted treatment facility through licensed haulers, as Oklahoma DEQ requires.

Do you serve small towns, lakes and the Panhandle?

Yes. We deliver to every part of Oklahoma, including lake country around Lake Texoma and Grand Lake, rural ranches, small towns and the Panhandle. Our service area covers all 50 states, so cross-border events are covered too.

What does my site need before delivery day?

A firm, fairly level spot about 12 to 14 feet wide and 20 to 35 feet long, plus a clear path for a truck to back in. A standard outlet or water spigot nearby is helpful but not required. Send us a photo and we will confirm the spot.

Can I rent shower or laundry trailers in Oklahoma too?

Yes. We rent shower trailers, laundry trailers and combination units across Oklahoma for crews, camps, storm recovery and long events. Ask about all of them on the same call and we will plan one delivery.

Tell us your date and we will handle the rest

Call us or request a quote with your date, address and guest count. We will size the trailer, confirm delivery and take care of setup, service and pickup anywhere in Oklahoma, with same-day delivery when you need it fast.
