Portable Restroom Trailer Rentals in Simi Valley From the Largest Luxury Restroom Trailer Fleet in the Western U.S.
A foothill wedding does not get a second Saturday, and a film base camp does not wait for a part. That is why a deep bench of trailers matters: your date stays covered, and if one unit has a problem on the day, another is available to replace it. After decades in event and equipment rental, the crew at The Lavatory plans every Simi Valley order with a backup in mind. The same bench serves hot, dry country elsewhere in Southern California, and you can see how it works in our luxury restroom trailer rentals in Victorville. Call us now, or ask for a free quote and we will tell you which layout fits your site.
What makes The Lavatory different from a row of plastic units
Real rooms with real doors
Each station is a private room with a locking door, a flushing china toilet and a mirror. Inside, the lights, the mirror and the locking door feel like a real bathroom and not a trailer.
Women’s and men’s sides
Separate rooms cut the line at the cocktail hour. The women’s room has more stalls and its own sinks.
Service during the event
Stocking and servicing happen on a schedule we set with you before the day. Long events and multi-day jobs get visits planned in advance.
A dispatcher who knows hillside sites
Send a photo of the gate, the slope or the driveway and we will tell you which layout fits. That site check is free.
Local fit for Simi Valley sites
Narrow hillside roads, ranch gates and oak limbs are the usual obstacles here. We ask about them on the first call so the truck is not surprised.

“We booked a trailer for our school fundraiser and are already planning to use The Lavatory again. Scheduling was easy, the billing team answered every question, and the support on the day was excellent. Parents kept telling me how nice the restrooms were.”

“Our venue fell through a week before the reception and we moved it to the backyard. The trailer arrived on time and was set up quickly. It was spotless and fully stocked, and the guests loved it.”

“We host a big family reunion every year at a park picnic area. Having our own restroom trailer means no waiting for the park building and no worrying about the older relatives. Three years in, we would not do it any other way.”
Big names that rent our restroom trailers
Large companies book us again and again because a clean, working trailer at every launch party and shareholder event is what brings them back. Companies like Google, Tesla, Mercedes and the Golden State Warriors have rented our trailers for job sites, corporate events and stadium crowds, and the same units serve Simi Valley.

festival-scale units
Around Simi Valley we regularly work with wedding venues and event planners, school, church and park groups, as well as contractors and film productions.
Many Simi Valley hosts book with us again for graduation parties and fall weddings, because the restroom is the one vendor every guest uses and remembers. Each trailer has to be stocked, cleaned and working through the whole event, and every unit in our fleet follows the same standard, from a small private gathering to a festival entrance.
Our restroom trailer lineup for Simi Valley sites
In Simi Valley the sizing question is usually about the site as much as the crowd: a hillside pad, a ranch gate or a school lot decides which layout can get in.

Pick by guest count first. In Simi Valley a 2-Station fits a backyard party or a small wedding, giving guests one women’s room and one men’s room. Parties of a few dozen fit the 2-Station, one step up adds a second women’s room in the 3-Station, and the 5-Station is the choice once the guest list reaches roughly 150 and goes toward 450.
Bigger gatherings move up the line. If your Simi Valley celebration draws 400 people or more and lasts into the evening, ask us about the 9-Station, which offers five women’s stalls, two men’s stalls and two urinals. If your Simi Valley party runs late and guests want privacy, the 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe has eight rooms with doors that lock, and the ADA + 2 and ADA + 6 each add an accessible room with a ramp built into the trailer.
Power is the first thing to check. The 2, 3 and 5-Station each need one 20 amp, 120 volt circuit, and the 9-Station and ADA + 2 need two. If your site has no outlet, a quiet generator can be arranged. Water comes from tanks on the trailer or from a hose hookup, and we stock and service every trailer so you do not have to.
Inside the restroom suite, item by item
Flushing china toilets
Families gathering at a hillside home expect a porcelain toilet with a foot pedal flush, like their own, and no chemical tank.
Running-water sinks
Some picnic areas and school fields here sit far from a water line, so steel sinks draw from onboard tanks and come with soap and towels.
Climate control
Air conditioning for a summer afternoon and heat for a cold evening, so the trailer stays comfortable no matter the season.
Framed mirrors and lighting
Large framed mirrors, warm light and finished floors suit a vineyard terrace or ranch barn, not a work site.
Fully stocked, always fresh
Premium toilet paper, towels, soap, and fragrance, restocked and pumped so the unit stays fresh from the first guest to the last.
Power and water handled
On ranch land or an open park corner near the Simi Hills, onboard water tanks and a generator we supply keep the trailer working with no hookup.
Stations and capacity in our restroom trailer rentals
We offer several trailer sizes, from a compact unit for a small backyard memorial to a layout for a crowd at a large park gathering. Give us the head count and the hours of your Simi Valley event, and we choose the size that fits.

Bathroom trailer rentals for weddings and receptions at vineyards, ranches and backyards
Weddings make up most of the restroom trailer calls we get, and our records show more than a thousand of them. In the Simi Valley foothills the reason is plain. A vineyard venue’s restroom was built for a tasting room, and a ranch with citrus and avocado groves often has no guest restroom building at all.
A bride in a gown wants a women’s room with a mirror and good light, and the groom’s side wants a men’s room that is not a line. Our trailers give the bride and the groom’s side each their own room, with flushing china toilets and running water in both. That is the difference guests notice at the cocktail hour, when the ceremony ends and everyone goes at once.
Backyard receptions in Wood Ranch and Big Sky run into a different problem. The house has two bathrooms, the septic or plumbing was never meant for 100 guests, and the driveway is narrow. Many homes here have a narrow side gate and a sloped yard, so we look at both before we decide whether a 2-Station or 3-Station will fit. For a look at how a ranch wedding gets laid out at a venue outside the county, see our restroom trailer rentals in San Ramon.
Put the trailer within sight of the reception and out of the photographs, with the door facing away from the ceremony lawn. Ask your venue about outside rentals, the nearest outlet and the water spigot. One dedicated circuit, not shared with the DJ or the cake warmer, keeps the lights on all night.
Luxury restroom trailer rentals for the way Simi Valley gathers
Simi Valley is a city of school campuses, church lots, park picnic areas, hillside backyards and ranch land. The three setups below come up most, and each one has its own restroom problem.
Portable restroom trailer rentals for church, school and campus events

A school or church building has restrooms sized for a normal day, not for a crowd. A fall carnival, a graduation picnic or a church bazaar sends hundreds of families to the same two doors at the same moment, and lines turn into people leaving early. The district behind the local schools is the second largest in Ventura County, so campus crowds are not small.
Our experience on school and church grounds is that the trailer works best at the edge of the activity, not in the middle. A spot near the blacktop edge or the lawn gives families a second place to go, and a clean private room is a relief for kids and grandparents. Check where the fire lane runs before you pick the spot.
The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District runs 50 parks, and its community park picnic areas are a common place for church groups and reunions. A covered picnic area that holds about 75 people sits beside one shared restroom building that other park visitors use too. A trailer keeps a private gathering from tying that building up.
For most of these events a 5-Station covers a few hundred people, and a 9-Station fits a big fall festival. An ADA + 2 fits a church function of about 200. Ask the school or church where the nearest outlet and water spigot are, and our dispatcher will confirm the rest from a photo.
Where else temporary restroom trailers earn their place around Simi Valley
Film base camps in Santa Susana Pass
Western movie ranches here have hosted film work for decades, and location crews still need restrooms where there is no building for miles. Talent wants a private room and the crew wants one that stands up to a long day on dirt.
Hillside remodels and slope work
A long remodel on a hillside lot loses the home’s plumbing for weeks. A trailer with locking rooms and visits on a set schedule gives the crew a place to go and spares the neighbors a row of portable units on the street.
Evacuation staging and shelters
Hillside neighborhoods here have been evacuated more than once in the last decade. When a church or school becomes a shelter, clean private restrooms with a ramp are the first request.
Concerts and Fourth of July crowds
Country music weekends and the big July 4 celebration pull crowds of thousands to city parks. Added restrooms with ADA access take pressure off the permanent buildings.
Commercial and institutional construction
Aerospace and technology employers and the hospital make building work a steady local trade. A site with up to about 30 crew can use the ADA + 2, which suits the hospital and office building work around town.
What guests carry home is the restroom that let them down, so we keep ours working. Our units are staged across the Western states, so help is never far away. When a wind forecast moves a ceremony to another lawn, or a host adds guests late, that is a routine call for us.
Can you picture our mobile restroom trailers at a venue?

What to expect when you book upscale restroom trailers
Reserving a trailer takes four steps, and one team gives you a straight answer from start to finish.
Share the basics
Send us the date, a rough guest count and the venue, such as a church lot or school field in Simi Valley. The date, the guest count and the venue tell us which size of trailer fits.
We pick the size and the spot
We match the size to your hillside site, confirm water and power or a generator, and fix the spot beforehand so one trip is enough.
We deliver and set it up
At the hour you pick, and before the Saturday crowd exits the 118, we level, connect and stock the trailer.
We keep it clean, then haul it away
The trailer serves guests all evening while our line stays open, and after a late ranch party we return to take it away.
What our crew does for bathroom trailers after setup
We handle the whole job, from hauling the trailer up a hillside road to pulling it out afterward. Our crew checks the route and load in time with the venue, levels and positions the trailer, connects water and power or stages a generator, and stocks it before the first guest arrives. You manage none of it.
If the day is long, as with a big wedding or a church festival that draws a crowd, we can leave an attendant on site for you. The attendant refills paper, soap and towels and cleans the suites during the event, and we pump and refresh the unit through the booking, so the room stays as fresh at the last dance as at the first.
Restroom trailer rentals for celebrations of life at home in Simi Valley
A gathering after a service is not a party with a start time. People arrive in waves and stay for hours, and many of them are older. A home bathroom was not built for that, and a family should not be thinking about it on a day like this.
A trailer gives guests a clean, private place to go, so the family can stay with the people who came. For most backyard gatherings in Simi Valley, the ADA + 2 works well, because it has a women’s room, a men’s room and an accessible room, all reached by a ramp that comes with the trailer. When the guest list grows past a family gathering, move up to a 3-Station or 5-Station so people are not standing in line.
Placement matters more here than at a party. We put the unit where it does not take over the view of the garden, with a level, lit path from the driveway. Delivery and pickup are quiet and scheduled around the family.
Many of these calls come on short notice, and the dispatcher answers them with care and without pressure. Tell us the day, the address and the number of guests, and we will tell you what fits.
Permits and approvals to check before a restroom trailer arrives in Simi Valley
The City of Simi Valley asks for a special event permit when an event draws 300 or more people, uses a city street, sidewalk or parking area, or needs unusual review. The application is due 45 days before the event. Fire, Police, Building and Safety and Public Works all review it. The special events office is at [email protected] or (805) 583-6736.
Park events follow the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, which is separate from the city. The district reserves its covered picnic areas and sets what is allowed on its grounds, so ask whether a trailer can sit at your site. The district office is at (805) 584-4400.
On private land such as a ranch, a vineyard or your own yard, check the venue’s rules on outside rentals and your HOA if you have one. We ask for the date, the address, the guest count and a photo of the site, and we handle the rest of the setup.
What we cover on ADA and setup in Simi Valley
- School graduations get a suite with ramp attached, a wide door, grab bars and space to turn.
- On a hillside lot we help choose a level spot that guests reach easily and our crew can service.
- Foothill ranches often lack hookups, so we arrange water and power first and stage a generator if needed.
- Every trailer is licensed and insured for school and church planners.
Venues and the City of Simi Valley can set their own rules on where a trailer sits, how it is reached and what event restrooms are required. Tell us where your event will be held and we will plan around the rules that apply, and please confirm them with the venue or the city as well.
How temporary restroom trailers pay off at an event
Hosts of a foothill wedding in Simi Valley put their money into the grounds, the dinner, the florals and months of planning meetings. The restroom seldom gets any of it, even though each guest visits at least once and judges part of the evening by what they find. A standard portable unit set beside the ceremony lawn undercuts everything around it, from the vineyard rows to the string lights the host paid for.
Think of a graduation party for a Simi Valley high school senior, with a tent, a caterer and a rented hillside yard. The trailer protects that spend because it looks like part of the setup and stands up to a full day of steady traffic. It is a small share of the total, yet it shapes what guests remember, and hosts who once had a bad restroom day book the trailer first the next time.
Typical Simi Valley job plans built around restroom trailer rentals
A church becomes a shelter during an evacuation
When a hillside neighborhood is under an evacuation order and a church or school opens as a shelter, we plan a restroom trailer near the entry and away from the fire lane. The ADA + 2 goes first, with its ramp facing the main walk.
A film crew sets up on ranch land
When a film crew builds a base camp on ranch land in Santa Susana Pass, the day starts before dawn and the nearest building is far away. We plan a unit near the production trailers with a clear path and a power source.
A family hosts a celebration of life in Wood Ranch
When a family hosts a celebration of life in a Wood Ranch backyard, guests come and go over several hours and many are older. We plan a unit with a ramp along a level, lit path from the driveway.
Simi Valley neighborhoods served by our bathroom trailer rentals

The Lavatory delivers to Simi Valley, the rest of Ventura County and the west San Fernando Valley, with trailers staged across the Western states for wider orders. Tell us your address and your date, and we will confirm the trailer and the setup in one call.

Wood Ranch
Hillside lots, golf course views and the Reagan Library nearby make this a place for big backyard weddings and private parties. Slope and gate width decide the layout.
Big Sky
Newer streets with mountain views and tight cul-de-sacs. Ask your HOA early where a trailer may park, since tight cul-de-sacs leave little room.
Sinaloa Lake
Lakeside homes with little room along the street. Most lakeside yards have enough room for a 2-Station or 3-Station.
Santa Susana Knolls
Historic streets near the depot and the Strathearn Historical Park. Community events and small receptions are common.
Tapo Canyon
The northeast edge of the city has a county park and a trailhead. Group outings and hillside work both call for a unit with room to turn around.
Rancho Simi and Rancho Madera
District community parks with covered picnic areas for church groups, reunions and birthday parties. A trailer keeps the shared restroom building free for everyone else.
Restroom trailer rentals near Simi Valley, across Ventura County and the west San Fernando Valley
Moorpark
The hills between Moorpark and Simi Valley burned in the October 2019 Easy Fire. Backyard parties and church events here need the same sizing as across the line.
Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park
The Hill Fire burned in nearby Santa Rosa Valley in November 2018. Ranch weddings and school events fill the calendar in this stretch of the county.
Camarillo
Camarillo sits close enough to the Reagan Library that the pavilion’s anniversary events appear on its visitor listings. Large lawn events and weddings are common here.
Oak Park
Oak Park shares a park district with Simi Valley, so picnic areas and community events follow the same permit steps. Family gatherings are the main demand.
Chatsworth and West Hills
Just over the Simi Hills, this part of Los Angeles County lies along the Santa Susana Pass that the Woolsey Fire crossed in 2018. Film ranch work and hillside builds drive most calls.

“We rented one for a church picnic and I was surprised how tidy and cozy it was. It felt more like an indoor bathroom than a portable one.”

“Professional, prompt and very clean.”

“Friendly service from the first call to pickup. The trailers are nice and clean, and our congregation noticed.”
The questions we hear about private restroom trailers

When a Simi Valley afternoon turns hot, how does the trailer hold up?
Shade and power are the two things to plan. Park the unit in the shade of a building or tree if you can, and give it a dedicated circuit so the cooling is not competing with other equipment. Those two units draw more power, so each one needs two circuits. Winter nights are cool, not harsh, and just tell us if a hard freeze is in the forecast.
How much room does a restroom trailer need on a hillside lot or ranch road?
It needs a level pad and a path the truck can drive. Gates, narrow private roads, steep grades and oak limbs are the usual local obstacles. The unit page lists the dimensions, and a photo of your gate and your pad lets our dispatcher say yes or no before the day. That site check is free.
Do I need a 5-Station or a 9-Station for 300 guests?
For a Simi Valley wedding or school event, a 5-Station suits roughly 150 to 450 people, while a 9-Station is the better choice when the crowd is closer to 400 to 900 and stays for about five hours. At 300 guests you are inside the 5-Station range, but an open bar, a long event or one big arrival at once pushes toward the next size or a second unit. Daytime school and church events are steadier, so children and grandparents are the bigger factor there.
Will a restroom trailer work for a long remodel or a months-long job site?
Yes. On a long job we schedule service visits ahead of time, so the trailer stays stocked and the tanks stay pumped. Each service visit restocks paper and soap and pumps the waste tank, so a long hillside remodel never outlasts the supplies. A trailer with locking private rooms is easier on a crew than a row of portable units, and a hillside remodel or an institutional build can keep it on site as long as the work runs.
Can you deliver the day before my event and pick up the day after?
Yes, scheduled delivery and pickup around your event are standard. The truck sets up and levels the unit on arrival, and you can ask for a specific window.
Is a water hookup required, or does the trailer carry its own water?
A hookup is optional. Water is stored on the trailer itself, with fresh tanks from 105 to 210 gallons depending on the model and waste tanks from 300 to 750 gallons, so a short event needs nothing from your property. A hose connection stretches the supply on a longer event. A garden hose from a nearby spigot is all it takes to stretch the water supply on a longer event.
Where do I start if I want a restroom trailer for a June or October wedding in Simi Valley?
Start with the date, the guest count and the address of the church, school or venue. Then ask your venue whether outside rentals are allowed and where the nearest outlet is. Send us that and a quote takes under a minute, and the sooner we have the date, the more layouts we can offer you.
What should I look for in an accessible restroom trailer for an event?
Look for a ramp that is part of the unit and a room sized for a wheelchair. Simi Valley events often happen in backyards and at parks where a guest may use a wheelchair, so the ADA + 2 pairs a ramp built into the trailer with a women’s room, a men’s room and one accessible unisex room that meets California standards. Plan at least one accessible unit at any public event, and ask the city if your permit review sets a requirement.
Can a restroom trailer go in a park picnic area?
That depends on the park district, which sets the rules for its grounds. Its covered picnic area at Rancho Simi holds about 75 people and is reserved through the district. Ask the district before you book, and we can supply a site sketch for the request.
What restroom setup do food booths need at a festival?
The county’s event organizer application asks for toilet facilities within 200 feet of every food facility, with one for every 15 food handlers. That count is separate from your guest count. Add it to your planning before you pick a trailer size.
Can a trailer reach a vineyard or ranch with a long dirt road?
Often yes, but check the road width, the gate and any steep grades first. Send a photo of the last stretch of road and we will tell you if the truck makes it. If it does not, a smaller unit can still work.

Simi Valley planning guides for luxury restroom trailer rentals
These guides cover sizing, placement and timing for hosts, planners and site managers, including how many trailers a 150 guest backyard wedding on a Simi Valley hillside lot needs.
How to count restroom stalls for a Simi Valley event
The right number of stalls comes down to a handful of facts, and most of them are easy to find. Begin with how many people are coming, and then think about how many hours they will stay. A two hour open house and a five hour reception with dinner and dancing need very different numbers, even with the same guests.
Next, ask how people will arrive. A wedding ceremony that ends with everyone heading to the cocktail hour sends a sharp peak to the restrooms in about ten minutes. A school carnival spreads the same crowd over an afternoon. Sharp peaks call for more stations or a second unit, and steady crowds can do with fewer.
Alcohol, children and the mix of guests change the math. An open bar sends people more often. Children use restrooms more often per hour than adults. If most of your guests are women, add to the women’s side, since that is where the lines form first.
Look at what is already on site. Whatever restrooms the site already has can take part of the crowd, so a trailer adds capacity and a cleaner option instead of carrying every guest. That is why backyard weddings often need less than the stall count of a ranch with no building.
Our ranges are a starting point. Guest count alone does not settle it, because a long event with dinner and drinks puts more strain on the restrooms than a short open house. If you land near the top of a range, or your event runs long, step up a size.
Food adds a separate count. Food booths also need to sit close to the toilets, so tell us where the booths will go and we will place the trailer to match. You can read the county’s current forms on the Ventura County site.
Finally, plan for access. If the public is invited, make sure at least one of the units you bring is accessible. Community events at Simi Valley parks and school campuses draw guests of every age, so having an accessible restroom on site matters, and the ramp comes attached to our trailer so you do not need to build anything extra.
Send us your numbers and we will check them. A quick call or a quote request is enough, and the answer takes under a minute.
A site check list for a hillside lot, a ranch or a school parking lot
A good site check takes five minutes and saves a lot of trouble on the day. These are the questions our dispatcher asks, and you can ask them yourself before you call.
Start with the pad. Before the trailer arrives, check that the spot is level, because a sloped area has to be leveled first or the trailer cannot sit there. On hillside lots in Wood Ranch and Big Sky, the flat spot is often the driveway or a side yard, and that is fine as long as it does not block the neighbors.
Then look at the path the truck takes. Measure the gate. Look up for oak limbs and wires. Look at the last stretch of road for narrow turns, soft shoulders and steep grades. On foothill ranch roads this is where most delivery problems happen, and a photo from the gate usually settles it.
Power comes next. The 5-Station wants a standard outlet within about 100 feet, and each circuit is 20 amps at 120 volts. Keep it off the circuit that runs the DJ, the cake warmer or the caterer’s equipment. If there is no outlet, tell us, and we can arrange a quiet generator.
Water is simpler. Every trailer carries its own fresh tanks, so a spigot is a bonus and not a requirement. If you have one close by, say so, since a hose connection helps on a long event.
Think about where guests walk. The door should face the crowd’s path but not the ceremony. Put the trailer out of the main photographs, away from the tent and the kitchen, and on a path that is level and lit after dark. If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair, make sure the path to the ramp is smooth, wide and clear. For help planning that smooth, wide path to the ramp, the accessible routes guidance at ada.gov is a good place to start.
On a school or church lot, add two more questions. Where is the fire lane, and who decides where vehicles can park? Answer those with the facilities manager before the date, and put the trailer in a spot they have already approved.
When you have the answers, send a photo and the address. We will say which layout fits and what to do about anything odd.
What to ask any restroom trailer company before you sign
Restroom trailer companies are not all the same, and the differences show up on the day of the event. These are the questions worth asking before you put down a deposit, whoever you hire.
Some companies own their fleet and others find a trailer from another company after you book. When something goes wrong, the first kind can fix it, and the second has to find someone who can. A direct answer on that question tells you a lot.
Ask what is included. Ask that the quote spell out delivery, setup, service during the event, stocking and pickup in plain words. If a company lists items separately, ask what that does to the total, since you do not want a surprise on the day. For a wedding, the questions are the same, and a good company will walk you through them.
Ask how power and water work. You want to hear how many circuits the trailer needs, whether it carries its own water, and what happens if your site has no outlet. A company that answers with a clear number for each unit has done this before.
Ask about accessible units. A real ADA unit has a ramp built into the trailer, so guests reach the accessible room without a separate ramp being set up on site. If a company offers an ADA unit without a ramp, ask why. For a long list of luxury units, look at our luxury restroom trailer rentals in San Mateo, which show every layout in photos and floor plans.
Ask who answers the phone when something goes wrong at 11 at night, and whether that person can act on it. If a pipe bursts or a delivery runs late, you want a live person and not a voicemail box. Ask how fast they can send a replacement unit if something fails.
Ask how far in advance they need your date and your site details. The answer shows whether they plan ahead or scramble. A company that asks you for a photo of the gate and the pad is a company that wants the day to go well.
Finally, ask to see reviews from customers with an event like yours. A planner will have the same questions for a wedding, a school carnival or a film shoot. We are happy to answer all of these, and you are welcome to ask them of us first.
Summer and fall event season in Simi Valley: heat, wind and fire-day planning
Simi Valley has a long outdoor season, and it comes with weather that you plan around. Summers are hot and dry, with typical July highs in the high 80s to low 90s and hotter spells. A September 2020 heat wave set the highest temperatures ever recorded at one local weather station.
Heat changes how you set up. Put the restroom trailer in shade if you can, and give it a dedicated circuit. Give guests a path to it that is not in direct sun at three in the afternoon. For events with older guests, a shorter walk and a ramp make the biggest difference.
Fall brings wind and fire danger. The Woolsey Fire in November 2018 forced evacuations in Ventura and Los Angeles counties, including parts of Simi Valley. Because wind can change an evacuation map quickly, it helps to keep a backup plan for any fall event in the hills. The Easy Fire in October 2019 started in the hills between Simi Valley and Moorpark, and evacuations reached the Reagan Library.
None of that means you should skip a fall event. It means you should watch the forecast and have a plan. Check for red flag alerts in the week before, and ask your venue what its cancellation and weather rules are. Keep your vendor contacts in one place so you can move a date quickly.
If an evacuation does close a venue, the demand for restrooms shifts to staging areas, shelters and base camps. Churches and schools often open their doors, and their restrooms are not built for it. An accessible room is the first thing a staging area, shelter or base camp needs from a restroom trailer.
After a fire or a long outage, homes can lose plumbing or power for days. A trailer at the curb gives a family a working restroom while repairs are made. This is also where site planning matters most, since hillside streets are narrow and a crew needs a clear path.
For event planning, the calendar helps. Late spring brings graduations and the first wedding weekends, and the Cultural Arts Center’s CraftFest comes in early June. The July 4 celebration pulls crowds of thousands to city parks, and September has the Hispanic Heritage Festival. December brings the Winter Art Market.
The City of Simi Valley posts its special events permit page for any event of 300 or more people, and you can start there. Whatever the season, the earlier we have your date, the better we can plan around it.
