Laundry trailer rentals in Colorado Springs
After a fire or a flood, a working laundry on site gives people one normal thing back. Evacuees get clean clothes, volunteers keep their uniforms fresh and the shelter manager stops hauling bags across town. The Lavatory delivers a working unit ready for the first night of a response, and we have spent years learning what Pikes Peak country throws at a camp: burn-scar floods in Manitou Springs, wind-driven grass fires on the plains and snow that closes Monument Hill. Our 8-Station Laundry Trailer holds eight industrial washers and eight dryers, so a shelter can wash through the night while staff sleep. Read the 8-station laundry trailer rental in Colorado Springs page for the full spec, then call or request a quote and we will pick the right unit for your site.
What makes our mobile laundry units different on a Front Range job
A free site check first
Tell us where the unit goes and we map the water, power and truck route before anything leaves our yard.
Machines built for work clothes
Industrial washers handle mud, grease and concrete dust better than a home machine ever will.
Sized to your shift pattern
Washers per worker depends on shifts, not just headcount. When two shifts overlap, we work out the load with you and bring in a second unit if one cannot keep up.
One crew from drop to pickup
The same service team that delivers also restocks, pumps the waste tank and hauls the trailer away.
Plain answers on cost drivers
Unit size, rental length, distance and whether you need a generator move a quote. We explain each one so nothing surprises you.
A planner who knows the county
We know that Black Forest and Fountain can have two different weather days, so we check each site on its own forecast instead of a city average.

“Our crew was washing work gear the same day the trailer showed up. Nobody had to drive to town after a ten hour shift, and that alone saved us a lot of late mornings.”

“We had more bedding than we could handle after the storm. The laundry trailer kept up.”

“Best laundry setup I have used outside of a real building. Clean, simple to run and the machines handled mud like it was nothing. Highly recommend.”
National names that rent from The Lavatory
Our laundry trailers keep running for the whole length of a long job, and that is why big companies keep booking us. Large builds around the country bring in national names like Tesla, Google, Target and BMW, and the same planning applies to a Colorado Springs crew camp.

Tesla
Large-site trailer support for big construction builds.
24/7 dispatch line
Trailers staged for large-scale deployments.
Multi-unit setups
Target
Crew facilities for retail and distribution projects.
Weekly service visits
BMW
Trailer support at industrial and dealership builds.
Long-term rentals
Around Colorado Springs we regularly work with construction and highway contractors, shelters and relief agencies, as well as film and production crews.
Contractors and relief agencies in Colorado Springs rebook because the machines work on day forty as well as day one, and clean uniforms keep people healthy and showing up. Every booking here gets that.
Portable laundry trailer rentals sized for any site
In Colorado Springs the 8-Station Laundry Trailer works best parked on gravel or asphalt near a hydrant or a water supply we set up, with room for a truck to swing in off the road.

Two units cover most Colorado Springs work. The 8-Station Laundry Trailer has 8 industrial washers and 8 dryers, a large basin sink, a folding table and LED lighting, on a 26 foot 4 inch frame including the tongue. The 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo gives crews up to about 30 people four private bathrooms and a separate laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer.
Both trailers are stocked and serviced by our team. They connect to water and power on site or use our water and power plan when the ground has neither. Colorado Springs sites with a long gravel drive or a ranch gate should have two 240 volt, 50 amp circuits ready before the 8-Station rolls in, since a full crowd also fills its 750 gallon waste tank. The combo trailer carries its own 105 gallons of fresh water along with the same 750 gallon waste tank, so it needs less from the ground around it.
If you also need showers or restrooms at the same camp, ask about pairing units so the layout stays tight. A combined setup puts clean clothes, hot showers and toilets within a short walk, which matters on a cold January shift.
Standard on every 8-station laundry trailer we send
Eight washers, eight dryers
Eight commercial washers and eight dryers finish full loads on board, so a wildfire relief camp or a large build crew can wash every day.
Basin sink and folding table
The large basin sink handles the first soak for red clay mud and ranch dust before work clothes go into a machine, and a folding table sits nearby.
Heat and air conditioning
Two HVAC units heat and cool the room, which matters when January nights drop below zero and June afternoons bring hail and wind.
LED lighting
Inside LED lighting covers the whole room, so a ranch crew finishing after dark can still use it.
Large waste tank
Wash water collects in the 750 gallon waste tank, and at a longer job such as a Black Forest rebuild we set up pump visits ahead of time.
Clear power needs
We need two 50A/240V circuits within 100 ft of the trailer, and on open ranch land east of town with no hookups we stage a generator.
How to choose between our laundry units
Two units cover most jobs here: a dedicated 8 station laundry trailer for big crews and camps, and a combo that adds a washer and dryer to private baths for smaller teams.

Colorado Springs 8-Station Laundry Trailer specs
Give us the head count and the hours and we will confirm the fit. Power (Two 50A/240V circuits within 100 ft), Cycle (Full wash & dry), Length w/ Tongue (26′ 4″), Waste Tank (750 Gallons).

4-Station Restroom, Shower and Laundry Combo specs for Colorado Springs events
Shower Heads: 1.5 GPM metered, hot & cold, AC Units: 1 (Smart thermostat), Power: 220V/50A or two 110V/20A within 100 ft, Stations: 4 private baths (toilet + sink + shower + outlet) + laundry room. Sized for up to 30 crew.
For a wildfire evacuation shelter or a large workforce camp near Fountain, we can add shower and restroom trailers, and one team delivers and services all of it.

Where portable laundry trailers fit in the budget

A rebuild crew in Black Forest pays wages, fuel and lodging, so a drive down to a town laundromat and the wait there become paid hours lost to the schedule.
Laundry done on site returns those hours to the job and puts clean clothes on every worker each day, a minor share of what a hail roof rebuild costs.
Water, power and permits for laundry trailer rentals in El Paso County
Before you pull from a hydrant, the Meter Shop has to calibrate the meter, and the water side needs an approved backflow prevention assembly. Start that paperwork early, or ask us about a delivered supply. If you plan to draw from a hydrant, start that paperwork early. Our team can supply a delivered water supply instead, so your schedule does not depend on a permit.
A laundry trailer with a holding tank is not a septic system. Onsite wastewater falls under Chapter 8 of the El Paso County Public Health Board of Health regulations, and connecting to an existing septic system is a different job from pumping a tank. We keep the wash water in the onboard tank and have a licensed hauler pump it on schedule.
Sites inside city parks add their own limits. City park rules keep vehicles off trails and grass and require generators to sit on a hard surface or on plywood, so we stage on lots and approved access roads. In unincorporated areas like Black Forest, Falcon and Peyton, the county handles the permitting instead of the city, so tell us the exact address when you call.
The Colorado Springs placement details we take care of
- Many ranch and rural lots east of town lack hookups, so we arrange two 50A/240V circuits or a generator.
- We pick level ground with room for steps and service, which matters on gravel drives and tree lined lots.
- Water is arranged ahead, and pumping is scheduled around a hail rebuild that can last months.
- Every unit is licensed and insured, which adjusters and property managers ask to see.
City parks, ranch venues and rebuild permits around the Pikes Peak region can carry their own greywater and placement rules, so tell us the exact site and we plan around them, then confirm permits with the property too.
Self-contained laundry units for remote and off-grid jobsites
Much of El Paso County east of Powers Boulevard is open prairie. Ellicott, Hanover, Peyton and Calhan sit a long way from any laundromat, and a pipeline spread, a solar build or a mining support camp out there works with nothing resembling a utility hookup for miles. Mines, solar farms and pipeline spreads all share the same problem: a crew in dirty clothes and a long drive to fix it.
A trailer built for that kind of ground carries its own waste tank, 750 gallons on the 8-Station, so nothing drains onto your site. It draws from two 240 volt 50 amp circuits, which a generator sized for the load can feed, and we plan the water supply with you before delivery. The result is a laundry that works without a single utility connection.
The ground is part of the plan. Prairie wind pushes dust into everything, so we face the doors away from the weather, level the trailer and keep the dryer vent clear of the work area. On forest roads near Woodland Park or Cascade, we check tree branch height and turning room before the truck commits.
Remote work also means long contracts. A site that lasts months needs a service visit schedule, a detergent restock and a plan for what happens if a machine fails on day 40. We set that schedule when you sign, and your site lead gets one number to call.
Four steps to booking laundry trailers
Booking a laundry trailer in Colorado Springs takes four clear steps, and one team of ours answers for the job from the day we drop it off to the day we pick it up.
Give us the date and the place
Share your start date, expected head count and where the unit will sit, whether that is a Black Forest lot under tall pines or a ranch staging field east of Powers.
We check the site with you
We confirm water and power, add a generator and water if needed, and fix the spot so a pine lined gravel drive takes one trip.
Delivery and setup
Delivery follows your start date, and we level, connect and stock the unit ahead of the first autumn snow.
Service and pickup
The unit serves the whole rebuild, our service line is open any day you need it, and when the last roof is done we collect it.
On-site laundry trailer rentals for the Pikes Peak region’s toughest jobs
Three kinds of work fill our calendar here: relief sites, big construction and industrial crews, and remote jobs with no utilities at all. Relief sites, large construction and industrial crews, and remote jobs without utilities each get their own setup, so we plan every one separately around its site and crew.
Mobile laundry trailer rentals for evacuation shelters and disaster relief
Fire shapes this county. The 2013 Black Forest fire burned homes north of the city, and the Waldo Canyon burn scar still sends mud down Cañon Avenue in Manitou Springs after heavy rain. On August 9, 2013, about 1.5 inches of rain on the scar pushed Fountain Creek over its banks and through town. When families leave with one bag, clean clothes become the first thing a shelter cannot supply.
The Hammer Fire is the reminder of how fast the plains side moves. It grew from roughly 200 acres to 4,200 in a matter of hours, and the El Paso County Fairgrounds in Calhan, about 30 minutes east on US 24, served as the shelter. A fairgrounds has bathrooms and bleachers but no commercial washers, which is why a temporary unit parked beside the exhibit hall changes the shelter overnight.
Cold sets the schedule too. Shelters here open when forecasts hit 19 degrees, and the regional extreme cold plan triggers on a 9 degree maximum or 10 inches of overnight snow. Wet coats, sleeping bags and blankets pile up fast in that weather. Eight washers and eight dryers let a staff team cycle bedding between shifts instead of sending it out.
Shelter managers tell us they need a unit that hooks up without a fight, and a door that locks, and our setup is built around that and a routine volunteers can follow. We walk the site with you, pick a flat spot clear of the evacuee flow and set the trailer up so a first-time volunteer can load a machine without training.
We also handle mobile laundry trailer rentals in San Diego.
Other jobs our laundry unit rentals cover around Colorado Springs
Peak Innovation Park build pads
The 1,600 acre airport business park has open pads, long shifts and little shade. A laundry trailer keeps a large site crew in clean work clothes.
Film and production base camps
The Colorado Springs Film Commission handles permits for shoots on Pikes Peak and in Pike National Forest, and wardrobe and linens get washed beside the unit base.
Olympic training camps and race crews
The Olympic and Paralympic Training Center hosts about 15,000 athletes a year, and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb puts teams on the mountain before dawn. Uniforms and towels need a wash line.
Plant and facility shutdowns
A building outage or a turnaround at an industrial site leaves workers in the same clothes for days. A trailer keeps the shutdown crew supplied.
Winter outreach programs
Downtown programs like Marian House and the Hanifen Center on West Bijou serve people who need clean clothes in January cold. A mobile unit supports that work.
Each of these jobs comes down to saving time, and with our units staged across the region, reaching a Colorado Springs ranch property or rebuild lot is a routine request.
Industrial laundry units for construction and crew camps
Colorado Springs has several large jobs running at once. CDOT is replacing the Powers Boulevard and Airport Road intersection with a diverging diamond interchange, and the Powers extension north of Highway 83 adds three bridges near Flying Horse Club Drive and Ridgeline Drive. Work like this means grease, dust and concrete on every shirt, in open ground with almost no shade.
The Department of Defense plans a 250 million dollars Space Force Operations Facility at Schriever Space Force Base, about 25 miles from downtown, and CDOT’s roughly 161 million dollars MAMSIP program touches I-25, Highway 94 and South Academy Boulevard. Contractors on jobs like these have long shifts, and a crew member who has to find a laundromat after ten hours is a crew member who is late the next morning.
Picture a general contractor with 40 people on two shifts. One 8-Station Laundry Trailer handles a full wash and dry cycle for every worker’s gear across a week, and the large basin sink takes care of heavy stains before the wash. For smaller teams, the 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo pairs private bathrooms with a stacked washer and dryer for crews up to about 30.
After years of placing units at job sites around the Front Range, we plan around the dull stuff that decides a rental: where the haul road turns, where the wash water gets pumped from and who restocks detergent. We list those on one sheet before the truck leaves, and you can see our other setups in the laundry trailer rentals in Colorado Springs overview.
Set, stocked and serviced: our washer and dryer trailers
For a rebuild lot in Black Forest with tall pines overhead and a gravel drive, our team handles everything from delivery to removal. We bring the trailer in, level it and set it, connect water and power or stage a generator with a water supply, and have it ready before the first person arrives. When the job is done, we come back and take the trailer away.
On long bookings in Colorado Springs, like a rebuild that carries past the first September snow, we schedule servicing and restocking so the laundry is as clean and stocked at pickup as at delivery.
Three job types and the on-site laundry units setup for each
Shelter manager opening a site near Manitou Springs
When a burn-scar flood closes Highway 24, we plan for a tight canyon approach and a site with no spare sewer. We pick a compact setup, scout the turn off the highway and confirm the unit can work from its own tank until the road reopens.
Contractor staging a crew on the Powers extension
When a bridge crew works two shifts, we plan one washer per few workers and set the trailer at the edge of the staging yard. We route the truck around active haul roads and agree on a service day before the first load.
Production coordinator at a forest road base camp
When a film unit settles near Woodland Park, we plan quiet placement away from sound stages and a pickup window that fits the shooting schedule. Wardrobe and linens get washed overnight so the next call sheet starts clean.
Colorado Springs neighborhoods where we place portable laundry units

Our trucks reach Teller and Fremont counties as well as El Paso County, with drop-offs from the plains past Peyton to the pines around Palmer Lake. If your program also runs outside Colorado, ask about our laundry trailer rentals in San Diego and across California too.
We cover Colorado Springs laundry trailers across Colorado. Towns and job corridors we serve include Briargate, Flying Horse, Northgate, Polaris Pointe, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain, Old North End, Downtown, Ivywild, Stetson Hills, Banning Lewis Ranch, Falcon, Peyton, Fountain, Security-Widefield, Fort Carson, Monument, Palmer Lake, Black Forest, Gleneagle, Woodland Park, Calhan.
Machine counts and power needs for each unit are on our Colorado Springs 8-Station laundry trailer spec page, or call and we will size it to your Colorado Springs crew. The full range of layouts sits one page over in our mobile washer-dryer laundry unit rental service across Colorado. For a site in another part of the state, our Colorado’s mobile washer and dryer trailer rental lists every region we deliver to. Events outside town are covered too; our commercial Colorado Springs washer and dryer trailers shows every corridor.
Downtown and Ivywild
Dense streets, vertical builds like the 294-unit Junction on 8th and outreach programs on West Bijou. Staging space is tight, so we use a compact setup and plan the truck route in advance.
Briargate and Flying Horse
The Powers extension bridges and Polaris Pointe sit on this side. Crews here work near wide roads with room for a trailer on a lot.
Powers corridor and Banning Lewis Ranch
Grading, utility extension and the Airport Road interchange all work in open ground far from fixed facilities. The wind here is constant.
Fort Carson, Fountain and Security-Widefield
A large military and industrial workforce lives south of town. Contractor crews on base need vendor paperwork and lead time at the gate.
Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City
Narrow canyon streets and flood history make access the main constraint. We scout every turn before delivery.
Monument, Palmer Lake and Gleneagle
Higher elevation and heavier snow shape winter delivery. Pine cover along drives means we check branch height first.
Where we place laundry trailers around Colorado Springs
Northern El Paso County
Briargate, Flying Horse and Powers extension crews work here, along with the Air Force Academy visitor area.
Eastern plains
Falcon, Peyton, Ellicott and Calhan have open ground and the county fairgrounds. Units here run self-contained on long hauls from town.
Southern county
Fountain, Security-Widefield and the Fort Carson area need units for contractors and agency work along CO 115 and I-25.
Tri-Lakes and Monument Hill
Monument, Palmer Lake and Gleneagle sit higher and see more snow. We plan site access around Monument Hill closures.
Ute Pass and Teller County
Manitou Springs, Cascade and Woodland Park have narrow roads and forest access. We scout turning room before every drop.

“Positive experience. The trailer was clean and stocked with detergent, and the team was easy to reach when we had a question about water.”

“The service rep was hardworking and respectful. He pumped the tank on schedule and never left a mess.”

“The whole process was easy. One call, one site check and the trailer was on the pad ready for the crew. Would use them again.”

Before you book on-site laundry units
Do I need a permit to park a laundry trailer in Colorado Springs?
If the laundry trailer goes on a private lot or a staged construction yard, you most likely need no permit, but the exact spot it parks is what decides it. City parks keep vehicles off grass and trails and need approval for access roads. In unincorporated El Paso County the county handles permits, so give us the address and we will tell you what to ask for.
Will the quote change if my job runs longer than planned?
Yes, a longer rental changes the quote, but so do unit size, distance from our yard, whether you need a generator and how many service visits you want. We explain each driver up front. Extending a rental costs less to arrange than starting a new one, so tell us early if the schedule shifts.
Can one trailer keep up with a crew of 40 working two shifts?
One 8-Station Laundry Trailer handles a crew of that size when workers wash a few items at a time between shifts. We size by shift pattern, not just headcount, because overlapping shifts hit the machines at once. If the crew grows past what eight washers cover, we add a second unit.
Is a hydrant connection required, or can you deliver water?
You need one or the other. If the site has a fire hydrant, we can use it once you hold a Colorado Springs Utilities meter permit and have an approved backflow assembly on the connection. Without those, we plan a delivered water supply with you before the trailer arrives.
Where do I add more units if my camp grows?
Leave open ground next to the first trailer when you choose the pad. A second laundry trailer needs its own power circuits and a truck turnaround, so we mark both on the site sheet. Many camps add a shower or restroom unit next to the laundry for a short walk between them.
What happens with detergent, cleaning and machine service on a long job?
We stock detergent when the trailer arrives and restock it on a service schedule you set with us. Our team wipes down the machines, clears lint traps and checks drains on each visit.
When does the combo unit with a washer and dryer make sense?
Pick the 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo for crews up to about 30 who need private bathrooms and a place to wash work clothes in one footprint. A small utility crew or a film unit with tight space fits it well. Larger camps usually pair an 8-Station Laundry Trailer with separate shower units.
How level does the ground need to be for a laundry trailer?
Close to level, and firm enough to hold the trailer through a thaw or a monsoon cell. Gravel and asphalt both work. We bring leveling gear, check for slope on delivery and flag soft ground before it becomes a problem, which matters on the clay near Fountain Creek.
Do you provide quotes for government bids and agency purchase orders?
Yes. Send us the scope, the dates and the site, and we return a quote you can attach to a bid. We provide a certificate of insurance and vendor paperwork on request, which base and agency work often requires.
Can you deliver to narrow streets in Manitou Springs or Woodland Park?
Yes, after we scout the approach. We measure the turn, check overhead wires and branches and choose the trailer size that fits.
Does snow or a freezing night stop a laundry trailer from working?
No. We insulate hoses, drain exposed lines on long cold spells and place the trailer so ice does not block the door. At 6,035 feet and above, cold is a planning item we handle on every winter rental.
Laundry trailer planning guides for Colorado Springs
Our guides cover sizing, placement and timing, including how to fit a unit between ponderosa pines.
Laundry for a Crew Camp near Colorado Springs: A Week-One Checklist
The first week of a crew camp decides how the rest of the job feels. Meals, beds and showers get the attention, and laundry gets forgotten until the second weekend, when the first dirty gear stacks up. A checklist done before the trailer arrives keeps the whole camp running smoothly.
Begin with how many people will use the trailer and which shifts they work. Write down how many people live on site, how many work two shifts and how many only visit. A camp of 60 with two shifts washes differently from a camp of 60 on one long shift, and the shift pattern is what we size against.
Next, pick the pad. Flat gravel or asphalt, with room to back a truck in and a spot for a second trailer later. Keep the pad away from the dining area if you can, since dryer exhaust carries lint and warm air. On Powers corridor jobs, the wind off the plains blows from the west most afternoons, so we face the vent away from the crew.
Settle the water and power plan before you sign. The 8-Station Laundry Trailer wants two 240 volt 50 amp circuits, and a generator sized for that draw can feed it. If your site has a hydrant, ask Colorado Springs Utilities about the meter and backflow requirements, which take time. If it does not, we set up a delivered water supply.
Pick a service day. A temporary trailer needs its waste tank pumped, its detergent restocked and its lint traps cleared on a regular visit. Put that day on the calendar and tell the camp. Crews love to know laundry day.
Name one person on your side who owns the trailer. That person holds the key, restocks small supplies and calls us when something is off. Without a name, every problem becomes everybody’s problem.
Finally, post a one page guide inside the door: how to load a machine, where the detergent lives and who to call. Plain steps beat training sessions, and they work for the volunteer who shows up on day nine.
Site Access Checklist for a Trailer on Gravel, Slopes and Pines
Our trailer is 26 feet 4 inches long with the tongue, which is more than most gravel drives in the Pikes Peak region were built for. A few minutes of checking before the truck rolls saves hours on delivery day.
Start with the approach. Measure the narrowest point on the drive and note the sharpest turn. In Black Forest and Palmer Lake, low ponderosa limbs hang over many roads, so check the height of the clearance as well as the width of the drive.
Look at the slope. A trailer needs to sit level to run washers properly, and a steep pad tilts drains and strains the tongue. If the pad has more than a gentle grade, tell us. We can level with blocks, but a pad cut into a hillside is better than one tilted across it.
Check the surface after rain. Clay near Fountain Creek turns soft quickly, and a trailer that sinks on day three is a bad day for everyone. Gravel packed over fabric holds well, and a few sheets of plywood under the tires help on thaw days.
Think about the turnaround. The truck needs to leave as well as arrive, and a dead end with no room to swing is a common problem on ranch drives. Mark a turnaround spot or pick a pad closer to the road.
Locate the utilities. Know where the power panel is, how far the hydrant sits and where the waste truck can park to pump. Eight washers and eight dryers draw real power, so the run from the panel matters.
Finally, send photos. A phone video of the drive from the road to the pad lets our team spot trouble before we leave the yard.
Questions to Ask Before You Book a Laundry Unit
Renting a temporary unit for a camp or a shelter is a simple decision once you know what to ask. These are the questions we hear from the best prepared customers around Colorado Springs.
Who delivers, services and picks up the trailer? Some companies hand part of the job to a subcontractor, which makes service calls slower. Ask for one team from the drop to the haul away.
What does the site need to provide? Get a plain list of power circuits, water supply and truck access. If a company cannot say it in one page, expect surprises later.
How is the unit sized? Ask how many washers they recommend for your headcount and shift pattern, and why. A good answer includes shifts, the type of clothing and how often people wash.
How often is it serviced? Ask who pumps the tank and when, who restocks supplies, and who answers the phone if a machine fails. Long jobs need a visit plan, not a promise.
What happens if the machines break? Ask about replacement time and who covers it. A written answer matters more than a verbal one.
What does the quote include? Ask about delivery, setup, service and pickup so you can compare quotes fairly. The cost drivers are unit size, rental length, distance, generator use and service visits.
Can the rental grow or shrink? Camps change. Ask whether you can add a second trailer or return one early without penalty.
Winter Laundry Units at 6,000 Feet: What Changes Below Freezing
Colorado Springs gets about 57 inches of snow a year, and nights can fall below zero during a cold snap. A temporary laundry unit works fine in that weather, but the setup changes. Planning ahead keeps machines running when you need them most.
Water lines are the first concern. Supply hoses are the part that freezes first, so we wrap them in insulation or heat tape and keep each run as short as the layout allows. If the trailer sits idle over a cold weekend, we drain exposed hoses so a morning thaw does not burst them.
Access is the second concern. Snow closes Monument Hill, plows clear main roads first and a ranch drive might stay buried for days. For winter jobs we schedule delivery around the forecast and leave extra time for the service truck.
Placement matters more in winter. Put the trailer where the sun hits in the morning, away from drifts and roof run off. A clear path from the camp to the door keeps ice from becoming a safety problem for people carrying wet clothes.
Dryers do double duty in cold weather. Wet coats, sleeping bags and boots dry fast in eight dryers, and shelter staff love them during extreme cold activations. Expect higher demand on the cold days, and plan for it.
The shoulder seasons can surprise you. Expect May snow and October snow in this town, and a bright June morning can still end in afternoon hail. Check the forecast the day before delivery and again the morning of.
Finally, keep a snow shovel and a bag of ice melt near the trailer door. It is a small step that prevents a slip on the ramp and lets people keep doing laundry through the winter.
