Why choose The Lavatory

The detail guests remember: why The Lavatory leads on luxury portable restroom rentals in Scottsdale

Guests forget the linen color by Monday. They do not forget a hot plastic box with no sink, and they tell the story at the next party. With 30+ years in event rentals, The Lavatory has spent decades making sure that story is about a cool, bright room with a china toilet that flushes, a real sink and a mirror you can fix your hair in. We own over 250 units, the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S., and we are A+ rated with the BBB, licensed and insured, with award-winning service and hundreds of 5-star Google reviews. From a resort lawn in Gainey Ranch to a desert estate in Troon, we set the trailer where it looks like part of the plan, start the AC early and keep it spotless until the last guest leaves. When your plans reach past the city line, we also place luxury restroom trailers for rent throughout Arizona on the same call. Call us or request a free quote, and we will match the unit to your guest count today.

Every trailer is ours

Over 250 luxury units, all owned by us. We are a direct fleet, not a broker, so no stranger’s truck shows up at your gate.

Cool rooms in desert heat

Rooftop AC on every unit, started before guests arrive. The room stays comfortable on a 108 degree afternoon.

Fast when it counts

Rapid same-day deployment and 24/7 immediate dispatch. In Scottsdale we can often be on site within 1 to 2 hours.

We plan for gates, pavers and septic fields

North Scottsdale drives are long, gated and lined with rock. We check gate width and turning room, lay boards over pavers and turf, and keep every trailer off the septic field.

“Our family cookout in the yard off Pinnacle Peak Road had a Lavatory restroom trailer by the side gate. Inside it was tidy and cozy, with cold air and a real sink. Honestly it was nicer than the powder room in our own house.”

National brands that have rented our portable restroom trailers

The companies that could rent anything still call us for restrooms, because a cheap plastic unit at a launch party or a shareholder event ruins everything the day is meant to say. The Lavatory has provided luxury restrooms for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A luxury restroom is the one vendor a guest uses and remembers, for better or worse, so the trailer has to be stocked, clean and working from the first guest to the last. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every Scottsdale booking, from a backyard engagement party to a festival gate.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Temporary bathroom rentals for Scottsdale evacuation shelters and relief sites

For a 200-guest wedding on a north Scottsdale estate, the 5-Station plus an ADA + 2 is the setup we send most. A home reception after a memorial service usually needs only a 2-Station in the driveway.

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer set on a gravel desert lot under a wide blue sky with mountains in the distance

North Scottsdale backs onto open desert, and fire season is real. In June 2023 the human-caused Diamond Fire burned about 1,960 acres near 130th Street and Ranch Gate Road. Maricopa County ordered more than 1,100 residents to leave, and a shelter opened at Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek. When a school, church or community center becomes a shelter, its restrooms were built for a normal school day, not for families staying the night.

That is where a self-contained unit earns its spot. Our trailers carry their own fresh water and a sealed waste tank, so they need only power, and we bring a generator when the building cannot spare a circuit. We park close to the entrance on firm, level ground, set the stairs with rails and add an ADA + 2 so every evacuee has a usable room. Our crews come back on a fixed schedule to pump, clean and restock for as long as the shelter runs.

Water is not a given out here either. On January 1, 2023, Scottsdale stopped letting haulers carry city water to homes outside its limits, and hundreds of households in Rio Verde Foothills had to scramble. Summer storms add their own trouble. On September 16, 2026, more than 2 inches of rain hit parts of north Scottsdale, flooding roads and knocking out power. A building that loses power can lose its pumps, and with them every restroom inside.

For agencies and relief groups, we are a SAM.gov registered federal contractor, so a purchase order can come straight to us. We offer 24/7 immediate dispatch and emergency delivery across the Valley, and our team that handles VIP bathroom trailer rentals across Phoenix can stage more units on the same order when a relief site grows. Heat relief centers and day relief sites that run from May through September book the same way: one call, a plan in writing, a crew on site the same day.

Inside the private suite, item by item

Flushing china toilets

Real porcelain toilets with a foot flush, the same fixtures your guests use at home, not a chemical tank.

Running-water sinks

Stainless steel sinks with real running water, hand soap, and towels, fed by onboard water tanks so you are covered even without a hookup.

Climate control

Air conditioning for a summer afternoon and heat for a cold evening, so the trailer stays comfortable no matter the season.

Framed mirrors and lighting

Oversized framed vanity mirrors, warm interior lighting, and finished flooring that reads like a venue restroom, not a jobsite.

Fully stocked, always fresh

Premium toilet paper, towels, soap, and fragrance, restocked and pumped so the unit stays fresh from the first guest to the last.

Power and water handled

Onboard water tanks plus a generator when your site has no hookup, so the trailer runs anywhere from a vineyard to an open field.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 5-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Scottsdale guest count.

More Scottsdale jobs for our VIP restroom trailer rentals

Scottsdale keeps us busy all year. Event season stacks up from October through April, with Barrett-Jackson, Parada del Sol, the WM Phoenix Open and the Arabian Horse Show packed into the first quarter. Summer brings monsoon storms, heat and the emergency calls that come with them. Here are three kinds of jobs we plan for every season, and there are plenty more below.

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked at the curb beside an iron-fenced home with desert rock landscaping and a green lawn

Open week hospitality at TPC Scottsdale

The WM Phoenix Open draws more than 700,000 fans in a typical week. Corporate hosts renting homes near the course add a private trailer so guests stay out of the house.

A Lavatory 5-Station restroom trailer parked at the curb beside an office building with palm trees and rock landscaping at sunrise

WestWorld auction and horse show weeks

Barrett-Jackson brings about 350,000 people to WestWorld in January, and the Arabian Horse Show follows in February. Sponsor tents, barn parties and collector gatherings book our 8-Station for private rooms.

Axon and Banner builds on the Loop 101

The Axon campus near Hayden Road and the Banner medical campus nearby keep crews busy for years. Owner’s reps and project offices book a 3-Station with a weekly service day.

Home remodels in central Scottsdale

A remodel can leave a family with no working bathroom for weeks. A 2-Station in the driveway fixes that, often the same day you call.

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Scottsdale-area events

Spring training and stadium parties

Scottsdale Stadium and Salt River Fields fill from late February into March. Tailgates, suites and team events add a unit close to the action.

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for Scottsdale-area events

Monsoon outages and plumbing failures

When a storm cuts power or a line fails, an office, church or restaurant can lose its restrooms. Our units carry their own water, and we offer emergency delivery around the clock.

What ties these together is the guest experience. Nobody remembers a restroom that worked, but everybody remembers one that did not. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple counties away, getting a luxury trailer to a Scottsdale date, even a last-minute one, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Next steps

Why event hosts budget for a restroom trailer first in Scottsdale

The 9-Station Restroom Trailer, our highest-capacity luxury unit, available for Scottsdale-area events

Think about what a Scottsdale event actually costs to put on. The venue, the catering, the flowers, the photographer, the hours of planning. Then picture a guest walking out of a hot plastic box in the middle of all of it. Nobody plans for that. The restroom is the one vendor every single guest uses, often more than once, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole event by.

A luxury restroom trailer protects everything else you spent on. It reads like an extension of the venue, holds up through a full day of guests, and gives people one less thing to remember for the wrong reason. Set against the total cost of the day, it is a small line item that quietly carries a lot of the impression, which is exactly why the hosts who have been burned once book the trailer first the next time.

Deluxe restroom trailer rentals for funerals and celebrations of life at Scottsdale homes

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer with steel stairs parked on a quiet residential street lined with palm trees and stucco homes

Many Scottsdale families hold the gathering at home after a service at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, Paradise Memorial Gardens on Shea or Green Acres. A house full of 100 or 150 guests can wear out two bathrooms fast, and nobody wants friends walking through bedrooms to find one. A private restroom trailer in the driveway keeps the home private and lets the family focus on the people who came.

These calls often come on short notice, sometimes two or three days out. That is fine. We can usually confirm the same day you call, and our crew drops the trailer the day before or early that morning. We keep the setup quiet and simple: a 2-Station or 3-Station placed neatly on the drive, stairs set, AC on, supplies stocked.

HOAs in places like McCormick Ranch, Grayhawk and DC Ranch sometimes ask for a heads-up about a trailer on a driveway. We keep the stay short and the site tidy, and we can send you a one-page spec sheet to share with the HOA or a neighbor. A private family gathering at home generally needs no city special event permit unless it spills onto streets or public property.

Our crews know the tone of these days. They arrive on time, work quietly and leave. Pickup happens when you are ready, whether that is that evening or a day later. If the family also plans a second service in another city, we can handle that one too, with the same care and the same simple plan.

Luxury bathroom trailer rentals for Scottsdale ranch, estate and backyard weddings

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer parked at the curb beside an iron-fenced home with desert rock landscaping and a green lawn

Weddings are the number one reason people call us, and Scottsdale gives couples a lot of beautiful places to get married. Resort lawns at The Phoenician and the Four Seasons at Troon North have restrooms, yet a tented reception on a far lawn can leave 250 guests walking a long way in heels. Ranch venues north of town, like Rancho Manana and The Ranch in Cave Creek, often have one small restroom building for a crowd of several hundred.

Private estates are where we do the most planning. Homes in Paradise Valley, DC Ranch, Silverleaf and Desert Mountain host big receptions, and many far north homes sit on septic systems that cannot handle 200 guests. We place the trailer on the drive or a side yard, off the leach field, and lay boards over pavers and turf so nothing gets marked. Lit steps, a clear path and AC started in the afternoon make it feel like part of the house.

Peak season runs from October through April, and Saturdays in March, April, October and November book first. Call as soon as you have a date and a guest count. For 150 to 250 guests over five hours, a 5-Station with an ADA + 2 is the setup we send most. Bigger parties with a full bar get a 9-Station, and we can split units between the ceremony and reception sites.

Some couples split the weekend across the Valley, with a rehearsal dinner in the East Valley and the wedding up north. Our crews that handle event restroom trailer rentals in Mesa, AZ can drop a second unit for the rehearsal on the same booking. One contact, one plan and one invoice keeps the week simple for you and your planner.

One more thing

Interior shots of the restroom trailer rentals we send to Scottsdale

Our restroom trailers, and the kinds of events we set them up for. Backyard weddings, vineyard receptions, corporate lots, film sets, and the festival gates where the lines have to move.

The part that matters

What our crew does for mobile restroom trailers after setup in Scottsdale

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer with steel stairs parked on a quiet residential street lined with palm trees and stucco homes

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator, and stocks it before your first guest arrives. When the event wraps, we come back and haul it away. You never touch the logistics. That part is on us.

For longer or higher-traffic bookings in Scottsdale, we offer an on-site attendant who keeps the trailer stocked and spotless through the event, and we pump and refresh the unit so it holds up from the first guest to the last. That always-fresh standard is the difference between a restroom guests use once and one they are glad to use all night.

From our crew

How booking works for restroom trailer rentals around Scottsdale

Booking should be the easy part of planning an event. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the event

Share your date, your rough guest count, and the venue. That is enough for us to point you to the right size trailer.

2

We match the trailer and site

We pair you with a unit, confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, and stock it so it is ready and fresh before the first guest.

4

Enjoy it, we handle pickup

The trailer holds up through your whole event while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Just so you know

Meeting accessibility needs with luxury restroom trailers in Scottsdale

A trailer at your home for a private party usually needs no permit of its own. Public and ticketed events are different. The City of Scottsdale wants a standard application 60 days before an event on public property, a simple application 30 days before an event held entirely on private property, and 15 days for administrative approvals. The application asks for delivery and pickup dates, times and the number of restrooms or trailers, so we send you those details in writing.

The city’s special event rules also say that when portable restrooms are used, at least one must be ADA accessible with a proper approach. Temporary toilets cannot sit within 25 feet of the entry to a neighboring business or home unless that owner or tenant agrees. If a portable restroom trailer needs water and power hookups, the sources must show on the site plan. Our self-contained units only need a power source on that plan.

Maricopa County Environmental Services sets the ratios. Public gatherings without enough permanent toilets need at least one per 100 guests within 200 feet, and construction sites need one per 20 workers. Waste must be hauled by a county-permitted pumper, and our licensed crews handle that so you never touch it. Job sites also follow the federal OSHA sanitation rule, and our ADA + 2 meets the federal ADA standard for an accessible restroom.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for Scottsdale-area events

Ramps, suites and pad prep on the site

  • ADA-accessible units with a self-contained ramp, wide door, grab bars, and turning room.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach and easy to service.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator staged when the site has no hookup.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some venues and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, and event restrooms. Tell us your venue and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the venue or the city as well.

What happens next

How upscale restroom trailers get set up around Scottsdale

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Scottsdale-area events

A typical setup: a church gym turned into a night shelter

When a church opens its gym to evacuees, we set an ADA + 2 and a 5-Station near the side door on paved ground. We run power from the building or our generator. Our crew services the units every morning while the shelter stays open.

A typical setup: a desert estate wedding for 220

When a family hosts 220 guests at a north Scottsdale home, we walk the drive first and mark the septic field. A 5-Station and an ADA + 2 go on the motor court with lit steps. The AC starts at 3 p.m. and we pick up the next day.

A typical setup: a home reception after a memorial

When a family invites 120 guests home after a service on Shea Boulevard, we place a 2-Station on the driveway the evening before. Supplies are stocked, the stairs are set and the AC is on. Pickup happens whenever the family is ready.

Scottsdale neighborhoods served by our luxury restroom trailers for rent

Old Town and the Arts District

Street festivals, gallery nights and stadium events in a tight grid. We plan each drop around closures and the Thursday ArtWalk crowds.

South Scottsdale

Older homes near Papago Park and the McDowell Road corridor. Backyard parties and remodels make the 2-Station the go-to unit.

McCormick Ranch and Scottsdale Ranch

Lake homes, greenbelts and HOA streets. Short stays, neat placement and fast pickup keep neighbors happy.

Gainey Ranch and the Shea corridor

Resort events, churches and family receptions along Shea Boulevard. A quiet drop and steady service matter most here.

Grayhawk, DC Ranch and Silverleaf

Big homes and gated drives near TPC Scottsdale and WestWorld. We check gate codes, turning room and paver protection before every delivery.

Troon, Pinnacle Peak and Desert Mountain

Estates on septic at the desert edge, often far from shore power. Self-contained trailers with a quiet generator fit these sites best.

Most Scottsdale rentals can be delivered the same day, and our dispatch line answers 24/7 for last-minute and emergency dates.

Details people ask about restroom units around Scottsdale

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for Scottsdale-area events
Will my guests really notice the difference between a luxury restroom trailer and a porta potty?

Yes, right away. A porta potty is a plastic box with a holding tank and no running water, and in Scottsdale heat it gets hot and smelly fast. Our trailers have porcelain toilets that flush, sinks with running water, mirrors, lighting and rooftop AC. Guests walk up real stairs into a clean room, and it feels like a restroom at a good restaurant.

Can you bring an ADA restroom trailer to a Scottsdale event or home?

Yes. Our ADA + 2 has its own ramp and an accessible room built to the federal ADA standard. A women’s room and a men’s room sit right beside it. Scottsdale’s special event rules ask for at least one accessible restroom when portable restrooms are used, so we add it to most public events. We place it on level ground with a clear, firm path to the ramp.

Is a 5-Station enough for 250 wedding guests over five hours?

Usually, yes. A 5-Station covers about 150 to 450 guests depending on how long the party runs and how much people drink. With a full bar and a long night at the top of that range, step up to a 9-Station or add a 2-Station near the dance floor. Tell us the guest count, hours and bar plan and we will size it for you.

Where do you put the trailer in July heat or on a cold January night in north Scottsdale?

In summer we look for afternoon shade, start the rooftop AC early and size the generator for the AC load when there is no outlet close by. Winter nights in the far north can drop into the 30s, so the heat comes on before evening guests arrive. Either way, the trailer sits on firm, level ground away from washes that flood in a monsoon storm.

What happens with cleaning and restocking during a multi-day event at WestWorld or a resort?

We set a service schedule before the event starts. On multi-day shows our crew comes between sessions to pump the tanks, clean every room and restock paper, soap and towels. For a single evening wedding we stock the trailer fully and most events need nothing more. Attendants for the whole event can be arranged when you want one on site.

When does a long-term rental make sense for a Scottsdale construction project?

When a job runs more than a few weeks and has owner’s reps, office staff or visitors on site. Big builds along the Loop 101 often keep a 3-Station by the project office with a weekly service day. Remodels at home work the same way with a 2-Station in the driveway. County rules call for one toilet per 20 workers within 200 feet, and we help you plan around that.

How much level space and clearance does a portable bathroom trailer need at a north Scottsdale estate?

Plan on a fairly level, firm spot about the size of a parking space for the 2-Station and longer for the bigger units, plus room for the truck to back in and pull out. We check gate width, overhanging trees and turning room before the drop. Rock, decomposed granite and pavers work fine once we level and block the trailer, and we lay boards to protect turf.

Do I need a water hookup, or do the onboard tanks cover the whole event?

Most events run on the onboard fresh water tank with no hookup at all. The 2-Station carries 105 gallons and the 5-Station and 9-Station carry 200 gallons. For long rentals or very large crowds we can connect to a hose bib or refill on our service visits. Waste goes into a sealed tank that our licensed crew pumps out.

Does my HOA in Scottsdale allow a temporary bathroom trailer on the driveway?

Most HOAs allow it for a short stay, and many only ask for a heads-up. We keep the stay short and leave the driveway clean. We can send a one-page spec sheet you can share with the HOA or the neighbors before the event.

How fast can you get a mobile restroom to Scottsdale in an emergency?

We offer 24/7 immediate dispatch and emergency delivery. When a water line fails, power goes out or a shelter opens, we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours. Call us and tell us the address, how many people need restrooms and where the trailer can sit.

Can a luxury bathroom trailer go on a resort lawn or near a tent at The Phoenician or Troon North?

Yes, with the venue’s OK. We work with resort event teams on placement, routes for the truck and power. Most resorts prefer the trailer behind the tent line on a service path, with lit steps and a short walk for guests.

Booking a Scottsdale VIP restroom for the January to March event rush

The first three months of the year are the busiest stretch on the Scottsdale calendar. Barrett-Jackson fills WestWorld in late January, Parada del Sol closes Scottsdale Road on the last Saturday of the month, and the WM Phoenix Open takes over TPC Scottsdale the first week of February. The Arabian Horse Show and spring training follow right behind. Larger units like the 8-Station and 9-Station book first, so call as soon as you have a date. Private parties tied to those weeks book early too, so a home near the course or a collector’s party needs a plan by fall.

When you call, have five things ready: the address, the dates and hours, the guest count, the bar plan and a photo of where the trailer will sit. Tell us about gates, power near that spot and any street closures. With that we can pick the unit, quote it and lock your date in one call. If you have a second event down in Tucson that season, our private restroom trailers for rent in Tucson can go on the same order.

City of Scottsdale special events

A site checklist for north Scottsdale estates and desert lots

North Scottsdale homes are beautiful places for a party and tricky places for a truck. Long drives, tight gates, low-hanging palo verde branches and decorative pavers all affect where a trailer can go. Measure the gate width and look for overhead wires and branches along the drive. Find the septic tank and leach field, because a loaded trailer should never sit on top of them.

Next, pick the spot guests will use. Level and firm is best, close to the party but out of the photos. Rock and decomposed granite are fine. Turf and pavers need boards, which we bring. Look for an outdoor outlet within about 100 feet, and if there is none, we will bring a quiet generator and place it where nobody hears it.

What changes a bathroom trailer quote in Scottsdale

Every quote starts with the unit. A 2-Station for a home reception is a different job from a 9-Station at a three-day show. After that, the biggest drivers are the number of days, how many service visits you need, whether we bring a generator and how hard the site is to reach. Peak weeks in the first quarter fill fast, so booking early helps you get the unit you want.

Extras add up too. Adding an ADA + 2 next to the main unit changes the plan. An attendant for the night or a pump-out halfway through a long party changes it too. Tell us everything up front and we will build one clear quote with no surprises. Call or request a free quote online and we will send it the same day.

A plan for shelter and relief site coordinators in the Northeast Valley

If you run a church, school or community center that could become a shelter or relief site, plan the restrooms before you need them. Count the people you expect overnight and during the day. Pick a firm, level spot near an entrance where a truck can back in, and know which outlet or panel can give us a 20 amp circuit.

Put our number in your emergency plan. When the call comes, we dispatch 24/7 and can often be there within 1 to 2 hours. We bring self-contained units with an ADA + 2, set them, and return on a schedule to pump and restock until the site closes. Agencies can book us directly through SAM.gov.

Keeping guests cool at a Scottsdale summer event

Summer events in Scottsdale move later in the day, and the restroom plan should move with them. We start the rooftop AC well before guests arrive so the rooms are cool from the first visit. Shade from a building or tree on the west side helps, and we place the trailer with that in mind.

Guests drink more water in the heat, so they use the restroom more and wash their hands more. We size the unit and the fresh water for that, and on long events we plan a mid-event service visit. If the power source is a generator, we size it for the AC load so nothing shuts down at the hottest hour.
