Restoration after that is mutual aid. Crews come in from out of region, work daylight to dark for a week or more, and live out of trucks when the hotels fill. Does a Public Safety Power Shutoff stop the showers from working?
No. Every unit can run self-contained on its own tanks with a generator, which is exactly why we plan local jobs that way from September through November.
