Why choose The Lavatory

Send us the other quote: why The Lavatory leads on mobile shower unit rentals in Carlsbad

Get another quote first if you want to. Then send it to us, and we will go through it line by line with you for free and point out what it leaves out. Most of the time it is the hot water and the service visits. Some vendors price a cold-water pod with a curtain for a door, or a trailer they do not own and cannot promise on your date. We list the room count, the tank sizes, the circuits, the pump schedule and the ADA room on every quote, so you know what shows up. That honesty is a big reason so many crews pick our private showers in Carlsbad. Behind it sits the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S., over 250 units we own, 30+ years in event and equipment rental, an A+ BBB rating and 5-star Google reviews. Call us today, or request a free quote and we will put ours next to theirs.

Over 250 trailers we own

We are the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S., and every unit is ours. That is how we promise a date and keep it, with no broker in the middle.

Licensed, insured and A+ rated

We carry an A+ BBB rating, 5-star Google reviews and a 99.9% incident-free record. Agencies get our SAM.gov registration and insurance papers before the order.

Hot water sized for the rush

Our heaters keep up when all eight rooms run at once. A cold-water pod looks cheaper until the line backs up at 5 a.m.

Waste plans that protect the lagoon water

Carlsbad storm drains empty into the lagoon and the ocean. Every drop of greywater goes into our tanks and out by a permitted pump truck.

Before booking

Who books our hot-water shower trailers when it has to work across Carlsbad

The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp, so the trailer has to be stocked, heated and serviced every day of the job, not just the first one. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every Carlsbad booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Crew shower trailer rentals for Carlsbad outages, plant shutdowns and restoration work

For most Carlsbad jobs we start with the 8-Station Private Shower Trailer, good for about 200 people a day, and add an ADA + 2 so every person on site gets a room that fits.

Carlsbad has been a power town since the 1950s. The old Encina Power Station sat on the Agua Hedionda Lagoon until it was retired on December 11, 2018, and its demolition wrapped up in 2025. The Carlsbad Energy Center now stands below grade on Cannon Road and starts up when San Diego demand peaks. Next door, the Claude Bud Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant supplies about a tenth of the county water supply. A few miles south, the Encina Wastewater Authority plant on Avenida Encinas treats sewage for more than 379,000 people.

Plants like these do not close for maintenance. They stage shutdowns and outages, and the crews who do that work come off shift covered in grease, ash or worse. We have learned that a hot shower at the gate keeps that mess out of truck cabs and out of family homes. For outage crews we usually send an 8-Station with an ADA + 2 beside it. We place both on the contractor laydown yard so nobody walks through the plant in wet boots.

A walk through the shower unit

Private rooms with a lockable door

Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.

Hot and cold water controls

A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.

Air conditioning and heat

Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.

One-piece gel-coated fiberglass

Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.

Runs with or without hookups

Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.

Serviced, stocked and pumped

We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.

Storms and wind events are the other half of this work. On March 16, 2025, the first SDG&E outage of a busy morning across the county was logged at 3:40 a.m. in Carlsbad and La Costa. In January 2025, Santa Ana gusts hit 97 mph and the utility shut off power to keep lines from starting fires. On March 26, 2026, more than 100,000 North County customers lost power at once, from Carlsbad to Escondido. Our temporary shower facility rentals near Escondido and here on the coast come from the same yard, so one call covers a staging site on either end of Route 78.

Line crews on 16-hour restoration shifts do not have time to hunt for a hotel room with hot water. During a big wind event, every agency in Southern California is chasing the same rooms. A shower trailer at the staging yard lets a crew clean up, eat and sleep in the time they actually have. When the grid is down, our units draw power from a generator and use their own tanks. Call us before the red flag warning, and we can have a unit staged before the shutoff starts.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Carlsbad head count.

Browse the complete shower unit range, then read on for sizing a trailer to a California head count.

Getting started

Sizing portable shower trailers to the Carlsbad area head count

Five shower units cover everything from a single ADA-compliant room to a camp that showers two hundred people a day. Every one has hot water, private rooms and climate control. Tell us the head count, how long the job runs and what the site has for water and power, and we will size it.

8-Station Private Shower Trailer for rent near Oceanside and Carlsbad

8-Station Private Shower Trailer

Eight completely private shower rooms in a 29-foot box, built for crews, camps and relief sites of up to about 200 people a day. Hot and cold controls, 200-gallon fresh and 950-gallon waste tanks, an exterior four-sink hand wash bank under the roof line, and it can tie into on-site septic for long deployments. CAL FIRE approved for wildfire camp service, the spec incident teams ask for in every western state.

ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer available for construction and crew camps around Carlsbad

ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer

Two standard private shower rooms plus one ADA room with a self-contained ramp, built to federal and California ADA requirements. The right unit when a site needs accessibility without giving up capacity, with 210 gallons of fresh water on board.

4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo staged for North County San Diego jobs

4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo

Four private bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, shower and power outlet, plus a washer and dryer in a separate room. A self-contained hygiene block for a crew of up to about 30 on a remote or long-term job.

2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo, delivered to sites from Carlsbad to Oceanside

2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo

Two private bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower each, in a compact 11-foot box. The pick for a small crew, a ranch job or a production base that needs both functions in one footprint.

Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo for rent near Vista and Carlsbad

Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo

One fully accessible room: ADA china toilet with grab bars, roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, ADA-height sink and vanity, and a ramp that deploys in minutes. It pairs with any other unit so every person on site is covered.

Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.

Statewide coverage runs through our California shower trailer hub, with units sized to the head count.

Other Carlsbad jobs that call for private shower trailers

Three kinds of jobs keep our portable shower units busy along this stretch of coast. Utility and plant crews need them during outages and shutdowns. Rail, campus and park builds need them for months at a time. Race weekends need a lot of hot water for one short morning. Each one gets a different layout, and we plan all three from the same North County staging.

Fire evacuation points in La Costa

The 2014 Poinsettia Fire sent evacuation orders to about 11,600 homes and businesses. Shelters at Calaveras Hills and La Costa Canyon High had restrooms but few showers, and we can set units at sites like these within hours.

2-station shower and restroom combo trailer with its stairs set on a beach parking lot next to the sand, the ocean and coastal hills behind it

Village and Barrio hygiene days

Outreach groups in North County run weekly hygiene events with showers, meals and haircuts. We set up an ADA + 2 with private rooms and a ramp, then service it on the same weekly schedule.

Ad shoots on the beach and the golf courses

Commercial crews shoot on the coast, the flower fields and the courses. Surf, stunt and water work leaves cast and crew needing a warm shower before the next setup.

Off-season builds at resorts and parks

Ride, hotel and spa work happens when crowds are low. We place units behind the back-of-house gates so guests never see them.

The 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo, with a washer and dryer from our own fleet, rented to Carlsbad customers

Lagoon and storm drain work

Sewer, dredge and habitat crews work at the water edge with no buildings nearby. Our tanks keep every drop out of the lagoon and the storm drains.

What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to a Carlsbad site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

In detail

Why relief sites budget for a shower trailer first in Carlsbad

Studio shot of the 2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo, a compact crew unit, which we deliver across Carlsbad

Think about what a Carlsbad deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.

A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.

Mobile shower trailers for Carlsbad marathons, beach races and race weekends

This city takes running seriously. The 35th Carlsbad Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K ran on January 18, 2026, starting and finishing at The Shoppes at Carlsbad on El Camino Real. The Carlsbad 5000 marked its 40th year on April 12, 2026, with a start at Grand Avenue and Carlsbad Boulevard and a turn at the Tamarack volleyball courts. The Carlsbad Triathlon starts with a swim at Tamarack Surf Beach and adds a 25K bike loop and a 5K run.

January and April mornings on the coast are often cool and gray. Runners finish wet, and swimmers in the Carlsbad Triathlon come out of the ocean with salt and sand on them. That is where hot-water shower rentals in Carlsbad earn their place. A heated room with a door that locks beats a cold rinse hose by the sand every time. The beach lots and the coast road were never built to hand out hundreds of showers in one morning.

Lines are the real problem at a finish area. Most half marathon runners cross in a window of about 60 to 90 minutes, and many of them want a shower in that same hour. Eight rooms turn about 45 people an hour at a steady pace. For a big field we often send two 8-Stations and split them, one for racers and one for volunteers, medics and the timing crew. We have watched events try one unit for everyone, and the volunteers who worked since 4 a.m. end up going home in wet gear.

Road closures on Carlsbad Boulevard start before dawn, so we set units the afternoon before and fill the tanks overnight. Tournament weekends at Alga Norte and Poinsettia Park work the same way on a smaller scale. Send us your course map, the expected field size and the finish time window. We will mark a spot that works with your permit and your closures, and we will keep a tech on site through the rush.

Just so you know

Placement, permits and ADA for portable shower trailers in the Carlsbad area

On a private construction site, the unit usually rides under your building permit and your site logistics plan, so show it as a temporary facility and we will place it where that plan says. Events are different. Carlsbad requires a special event permit for 50 or more people on public property, and the city asks for the application at least 90 days ahead. A private lot event needs a minor special event permit, and the Fire Prevention office reviews tents and generators.

Water comes from the onboard tank, from a hose bib with a backflow valve, or from a hydrant meter. Carlsbad Municipal Water District will not let anyone draw from a hydrant without a construction meter permit, so plan that a week or two out. Purple pipe in the business parks is recycled water and is never used for showers. Waste goes into the unit tank and out by a permitted pump truck, because storm drains here flow straight to the lagoons.

Power is simple once you know which unit is coming. The 8-Station needs one 50 amp 220 volt circuit, and the ADA + 2 and the combos use two 120 volt 20 amp circuits. No panel nearby, or a shutoff on the way? We bring a generator. For longer jobs, ask about Carlsbad, California private showers on a weekly service plan, with cleaning, restocking and pumping on a fixed day.

ADA shower trailer seen from the rear with an aluminum ramp and rails set on a coastal parking lot, the ocean and a fenced bluff walkway behind it

What we cover on ADA and site access

  • ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.

Portable shower trailers for Carlsbad rail, campus and park builds

The biggest job in town right now is the Batiquitos Lagoon Double Track. It is a 166 million dollar project that replaces a wooden rail bridge from the 1940s with a concrete double-track bridge. It also adds 0.6 miles of second track between La Costa Avenue in Encinitas and Avenida Encinas in Carlsbad. Much of the pile and track work happens in short night windows when trains are stopped, and the second phase runs to about July 2028.

Night windows change how a crew shower setup should work. A crew of 60 or 80 walks off the job at 5 a.m., wet from the lagoon and tired from the shift. Everyone wants a shower in the same 40 minutes. We size for that rush, not for the daily total. Most of the time that means two 8-Stations or an 8-Station plus a 4-Station combo, set on the laydown yard with lights on the stairs. The same rail corridor runs north through the city, and our portable shower trailer rentals in Oceanside serve the crews working that end of it.

Inland, the work is steady and long. The city started building Veterans Memorial Park on July 24, 2026, on 93.7 acres near Faraday Avenue and Cannon Road, and the job should take about two years. Ionis added a 165,000 square foot lab and office building on Whiptail Loop, and the Evolve campus put up three new buildings in the business park. Grading, concrete and lab fit-out crews all leave a site dusty. On a long job we usually add a sewer tie-in where the city allows it, so the unit does not wait on a pump truck.

Business parks bring their own rules. Many have badge gates, dock schedules and owners who care where a trailer sits. We walk the site with your superintendent and pick a spot that does not block deliveries or the fire lane. For a small finish crew, the 2-Station combo fits where a full-size unit will not. When you rent a private shower trailer in Carlsbad from us, you get one contact for delivery, service and pickup.

Good to know

Four steps to a portable shower trailer on a Carlsbad-area site

Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the site

Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.

2

We match the trailer and the hookups

We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.

4

Use it, we handle service and pickup

The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Field notes

What happens after self-contained shower units land on a Carlsbad-area site

The ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer, two standard rooms plus one ADA room, available for rent in Carlsbad

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.

On longer or higher-traffic bookings in Carlsbad, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.

How we plan multi-station shower trailers for Carlsbad-area jobs like these

Exterior of the 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo trailer, a unit we deliver to Carlsbad sites

Outage manager at a plant on the lagoon

When a plant schedules a two-week shutdown, we set an 8-Station and an ADA + 2 on the contractor yard the day before. We tie into a site circuit, fill from a backflow-protected hose bib, and pump the waste tank every other day while the crews work around the clock.

Superintendent on a night rail window

When the trains stop at midnight, the crew works until about 5 a.m. We light the stairs, keep the water hot through the night, and plan service for mid-morning so the rooms are clean before the next shift arrives.

Race director on the coast road

When a race closes Carlsbad Boulevard at dawn, we place the units the afternoon before on the lot the permit allows. One trailer serves racers and one serves staff, and a tech stays on site until the last finisher clears.

Carlsbad neighborhoods we serve with mobile shower trailers

Our 2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo trailer, one of the units we rent out around Carlsbad

We deliver to every part of Carlsbad, from the Village to La Costa, and our multi-station shower trailer rentals across California come from the same fleet. We serve all 50 states, and the nearest staged unit is usually a short drive on Interstate 5 or Route 78. Send us the address and we will give you a delivery window before you book, along with the best spot for mobile shower trailer rentals near Carlsbad job sites.

We cover Carlsbad shower trailer rentals across California. Towns and job corridors we serve include Carlsbad Village, Barrio, Olde Carlsbad, Terramar, Agua Hedionda, Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad Ranch, Calavera Hills, Robertson Ranch, Rancho Carrillo, La Costa, La Costa Oaks, La Costa Valley, Aviara, Poinsettia, South Ponto, Kelly Ranch, Palomar Airport, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Encinitas, Leucadia, Escondido.

Our statewide California shower trailer service covers the regions this page does not name.

Carlsbad Village and Barrio

Narrow streets, the COASTER station and the future rail trench make this the tightest part of town. We deliver early and use the 2-Station combo where a big trailer cannot turn.

Terramar and Agua Hedionda

Beach homes sit near the power and water plants on the lagoon. Most of our work here is plant and utility crews on long shifts.

Bressi Ranch and Carlsbad Ranch

Business parks, the outlets and big attractions sit close together. Campus builds and off-season resort work keep crews here most of the year.

Calavera Hills and Robertson Ranch

Newer homes, Lake Calavera and the Calaveras Hills Community Center sit on the north side. The community center served as a fire shelter in 2014.

La Costa Valley and La Costa Oaks

Steep streets and open canyons border San Marcos. The 2025 Claro Fire burned 45 acres here, and Stagecoach Park became the evacuation point.

Poinsettia and South Ponto

The Poinsettia station, the wastewater plant and the state beach campground fill this stretch. Race staging, beach events and rail work all land here.

We offer rapid same-day delivery and 24/7 immediate dispatch across Carlsbad, and we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours.

What base camps ask about mobile shower units in Carlsbad

Our Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo, with a ramp entry, one of the units we rent out around Carlsbad
Is a shower and restroom combo with laundry a good fit for a small Carlsbad crew?

Yes, for crews of up to about 30 people it is often the best choice. The 4-Station combo gives each person a private bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower and outlet, and it adds a washer and dryer in its own room. Crews working away from home use the laundry almost as much as the showers. For a bigger crew, we pair the combo with an 8-Station so the showers keep up at shift change.

Where does the water come from if my Carlsbad site has no hookup?

Every unit arrives with full fresh tanks, 200 gallons on the 8-Station and 105 to 210 gallons on the smaller units. For a single race morning or a short event, that plus a refill visit is often enough. For heavy daily use we connect to a hose bib with a backflow valve, or you can get a hydrant meter from Carlsbad Municipal Water District. If neither works, we schedule water deliveries so the tanks never run dry.

What size shower trailer do I need for 100 workers on one shift change?

Count how many people come off at the same moment, not the daily total. Each private room turns five or six showers an hour when people keep moving. For 100 workers released at once, we usually plan two 8-Stations so the line clears in about an hour. If the release is staggered over two hours, one 8-Station and an ADA + 2 can cover it.

When does a shower trailer quote in Carlsbad go up or down?

The biggest drivers are how many units you need, how long you keep them and how often we service them. A generator, water deliveries, after-hours delivery or a tight site that needs a smaller truck also change the number. Long jobs with a sewer tie-in often cost less per day because we pump less. Send us your dates and head count, and we will lay out every line so you can compare it with any other quote.

How much power does a mobile shower unit need, and can it run on a generator?

The 8-Station needs one 50 amp 220 volt circuit. The ADA + 2 and the combos each use two 120 volt 20 amp circuits. If your site has no panel close by, or SDG&E has a shutoff planned, we bring a generator sized for the unit and keep it fueled. Many plant and rail yards in Carlsbad already have a power drop near the laydown area.

Do you clean and restock the shower trailer during a long job?

Yes. We set a service schedule before the unit leaves our yard, from daily visits on a busy camp to once or twice a week on a smaller crew. Each visit covers cleaning, restocking soap and paper goods, pumping waste and checking heaters. For races and big events, we can keep a tech on site through the busiest hours.

Will an 8-station trailer fit on my Carlsbad lot, and what do you need from me?

The 8-Station is 35 feet long with the tongue, so we need a fairly level spot with room to back in and clear space overhead. We check trees, wires and gate widths before the delivery day. On steep La Costa streets or tight Village lots, the 2-Station combo is often the better fit. We level the unit with jacks and set the stairs, and you just need to keep the spot clear when the truck arrives.

Can you set up several shower trailers together for a large outage camp?

Yes. We often place two to four 8-Stations side by side, with ADA + 2 units and laundry combos where crews stay for weeks. We plan the water, power and waste for the whole group at once, so one pump truck route covers every unit. If the job grows, we add units from the same North County staging.

Do I need a permit to put a shower trailer at a Carlsbad beach or park?

Usually yes. City parks and streets fall under a city special event or facility use permit, and the state beach lots along Carlsbad Boulevard need a California State Parks permit. We send you our insurance papers and a site sketch to add to your application. Start early, because the city asks for event applications at least 90 days out.

Can the showers handle sand and salt water after an ocean swim?

Yes. The rooms have smooth fiberglass floors and walls that rinse clean, and the drains are built for a busy day. We ask racers to knock off loose sand at the stairs, and we can place a rinse mat or a hose station by the entry. Our crew clears the drains and cleans the floors between waves on race morning.

How fast can you get showers to a Carlsbad staging yard during a fire or a shutoff?

We run dispatch 24 hours a day, and North County staging means a unit can often reach a Carlsbad yard the same day. During Santa Ana season we suggest a call as soon as a red flag warning goes up. Units staged early beat units ordered after every agency in the region starts calling.

Private shower trailer guides and planning tips for Carlsbad jobs

How to read a shower trailer quote before you sign it in Carlsbad

Start with the room count and the doors. A quote should say how many private rooms you get, whether each one locks, and whether they are rooms or curtained stalls. Then look for the water heater. Ask how many rooms it can keep hot at once and for how long, because a small heater that cannot feed eight heads is the most common problem we see. Check the tank sizes, the power draw and who supplies the generator. If any of those lines are missing, they will show up later as a surprise.

Next, find the service. A low number with no service visits means nobody comes back to clean, restock or pump once the unit is dropped. Look for the pump schedule and the delivery and pickup fees. If the public or an agency is involved, check for an ADA room too. Ask who owns the trailer, because a broker cannot always promise your date. If you want a second set of eyes, send us any Carlsbad shower trailer rentals quote you have and we will walk through it with you.

What Cal/OSHA washing rules mean for a shower plan on a Carlsbad job site

California sets a floor for washing on construction sites, not a ceiling. Cal/OSHA Title 8 Section 1527 calls for one washing station for every 20 workers, with water, soap and towels. Showers go beyond that rule. On jobs with silica dust, lead paint, coatings, sludge or ash, a hot shower before the drive home is how contamination stops at the gate instead of riding home in a truck.

We help you write the shower plan into your site safety plan, with the unit, its location and the service schedule. That makes it easy to show an inspector or an owner that the plan is real. For agency and federal work, we send the SAM.gov registration and insurance papers up front. When you compare portable shower rentals in Carlsbad, CA, ask each vendor to put the plan in writing.

Planning showers for a Carlsbad event permit, from first call to the day before

The city asks for special event applications at least 90 days before the event and suggests nine to 12 months for big ones. Put the shower units on your site plan from the start, with their size, their spot and how the truck gets in and out. If you add them late, you may end up moving a booth, a fence or an aid station to make room. Ask us for a scaled sketch of each unit and a copy of our insurance to send with your packet.

Two weeks out, confirm the water and power plan and the hour of the road closure. The day before, we set the units, fill the tanks and test every room. If your event uses a state beach lot, the State Parks permit sets its own hours, so build those into the schedule. Planners who book luxury showers for rent in Carlsbad early get their first-choice spot on the lot.

Getting ready for Santa Ana season before the next shutoff

Santa Ana winds usually arrive between October and January, and they bring low humidity, fire risk and planned power shutoffs. Utility contractors, plant managers and emergency planners who wait until the warning goes up end up competing with every agency in the region for the same equipment. A short call in September to confirm units, circuits and a staging spot saves hours later.

Write down where a shower unit would go on each of your yards, how it gets power during a shutoff, and who calls us. Keep a generator plan for every site. If you run a shelter or an evacuation point, add an ADA + 2 to the plan from the start. We keep a standing reservation list for customers who want private showers in Carlsbad ready on short notice.

Shower trailers for long rail and lagoon jobs that run through 2028

Long jobs need a different plan than a one-week rental. After the first month, weekly costs and service time matter more than the delivery fee. Ask whether a sewer tie-in is allowed at your yard, because it can cut pump trips. Plan a laundry combo if crews stay away from home, and ask for a monthly review of the head count so the setup grows or shrinks with the job.

Rail work near the lagoons adds habitat fencing, soft ground and short night windows. We place units on firm ground inside the approved footprint and use cribbing after rain. For crews working the corridor from Encinitas to Oceanside, one vendor and one service route keep things simple. Our crews know the access roads and the rules the rail agencies follow on these jobs.
