The Lavatory: the Northern Colorado authority on shower trailer rentals
The Lavatory owns more than 250 units and the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. We are not a broker. Our showers are self-contained. They carry their own fresh and waste tanks, so a site with no water line and no power still gets hot water on day one. When a job lasts for months we tie into septic, and we stage a generator and a delivered supply when the ground has neither. Eight years of local work is behind that, and we keep mobile shower unit rentals across Colorado ready for Larimer County jobs. Call us or request a quote and we will confirm dates today.
The fleet is ours
More than 250 units, all owned, none of it borrowed from another company. The truck that brings your unit has our name on it, and the tech servicing it works for us.
A door that locks
These are private rooms with a latch, a light and a thermostat, not a plastic box on a pallet. People use a shower they trust. On a 14 day camp that is the difference between a clean crew and a morale problem.
We count heads first
Before we quote a station count we ask about shift overlap, because 60 people on two shifts is not the same problem as 60 people arriving at once. The math drives the unit.
We already know the canyons
Poudre Canyon, Rist Canyon and the Buckhorn have very few pull-off spots wide enough to set and level a 35 foot rig with the tongue. We know which ones work and which ones sit in a drainage, which matters above a burn scar in July.

“If you want a spotless, upscale shower trailer for an event in Fort Collins, you can stop searching. We have teamed up with this company on a lot of projects, and each one has gone great. Their team communicates well, handles every request we make, and the quality never slips. A true ten out of ten.”

“When a basic porta potty will not cut it, this company delivers clean shower and restroom trailers that handle a real crowd. The Lavatory gets my strong recommendation.”

“Our driver was professional and friendly from start to finish, respectful and ready to handle the full service on our shower trailer. It is always a good sign when someone carries himself like a pro no matter what the job is.”
Proof from the race weekends we have served with private shower trailers
The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders. Teams and race organizers 40 miles south of Fort Collins can book VIP restroom trailers in Boulder.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp, so the trailer has to be stocked, heated and serviced every day of the job, not just the first one. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every Fort Collins booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground. League and tournament staff working outside Fort Collins can ask about shower trailer rentals in Aurora, CO.
Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.
Mobile shower unit rentals for National Guard and agency field camps
The 8-Station is the unit we stage first for Fort Collins work, because one box covers about 200 people a day. That is the right size for a fire camp up the canyon or a highway crew on a long hold.

This county knows what a field camp looks like. During the High Park Fire in 2012 the Colorado National Guard put about 90 soldiers and airmen on communications, refueling and security work, and the Guard readiness center in Fort Collins served as headquarters for the incident command team. That is not a story we read about. It is the kind of camp we build showers for. We count the roster. Then we count the shift overlap and set the station count off that. For shelters in Fort Collins, check our write-up on mobile laundry in disaster response.
Federal incidents order showers as a unit type. The Forest Service runs a national mobile shower contract for wildland fire and all-hazard incidents, and regional mobilization for Colorado moves through the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center. Agencies ask two questions first. Is the unit CAL FIRE approved, and are you registered on SAM.gov. Ours is, and we are. So the paperwork is done before the order goes out.
Standard on every shower unit we send
Private rooms with a lockable door
Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.
Hot and cold water controls
A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.
Air conditioning and heat
Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.
One-piece gel-coated fiberglass
Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.
Runs with or without hookups
Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.
Serviced, stocked and pumped
We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.
Cameron Peak showed what the ceiling looks like here. It started August 13, 2020 about 40 miles west of town, burned 208,913 acres in western Larimer County, and is still the largest fire in Colorado history. It ran 80,000 acres over one Labor Day weekend. A camp that size is a small town. The shower line is where the two shifts cross. We stage the 8-Station for that crossing. One unit handles about 200 people a day, and the exterior 4-sink hand wash bank on the 8-Station keeps boots and hands out of the shower rooms.
Agency work is not just fire. The Guard moved wildfire aviation readiness to a year-round mission after a record-low snowpack winter, and Larimer County coordinates evacuations with the Sheriff and opens shelters with the Red Cross. We have staged units for crews working the open ground north of town, including the 18,728 acre Soapstone Prairie Natural Area. The nearest hose bib out there is miles away. Call us and we will walk the pad with you before the order goes in.
Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Fort Collins head count.

The self-contained shower units we stage for Fort Collins, size by size
Five shower units cover everything from a single ADA-compliant room to a camp that showers two hundred people a day. Every one has hot water, private rooms and climate control. Tell us the head count, how long the job runs and what the site has for water and power, and we will size it.

8-Station Private Shower Trailer
Eight completely private shower rooms in a 29-foot box, built for crews, camps and relief sites of up to about 200 people a day. Hot and cold controls, 200-gallon fresh and 950-gallon waste tanks, an exterior four-sink hand wash bank under the roof line, and it can tie into on-site septic for long deployments. CAL FIRE approved for wildfire camp service, the spec incident teams ask for in every western state.

ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer
Two standard private shower rooms plus one ADA room with a self-contained ramp, built to federal ADA requirements. The right unit when a site needs accessibility without giving up capacity, with 210 gallons of fresh water on board.

4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo
Four private bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, shower and power outlet, plus a washer and dryer in a separate room. A self-contained hygiene block for a crew of up to about 30 on a remote or long-term job.

2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo
Two private bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower each, in a compact 11-foot box. The pick for a small crew, a ranch job or a production base that needs both functions in one footprint.

Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo
One fully accessible room: ADA china toilet with grab bars, roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, ADA-height sink and vanity, and a ramp that deploys in minutes. It pairs with any other unit so every person on site is covered.
Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.
Statewide coverage runs through our Colorado shower trailer hub, with units sized to the head count.
More work our hot-water shower trailer rentals cover
Three kinds of work keep our trucks busy here. Agency field camps. Construction and plant crews. And race weekends that finish in a lot with no plumbing.

Film and TV production
Colorado pays a refundable credit on qualified local spend, and Fort Collins has made location permits simpler. Crews on a canyon or prairie location need a private place to clean up between setups.

Sports camps and team housing
Canvas Stadium seats 36,500 and Moby Arena holds about 9,000, and summer camps fill both. We set units near the practice fields, so a hundred kids are not all lined up at one locker room.

Mobile hygiene for homeless neighbors
Shower access in this city means a weekday morning window and a sign-up sheet at the Murphy Center. A church or nonprofit running a pop-up hygiene day adds capacity in a parking lot. We bring the unit and the water. Outreach programs that rotate sites can add mobile shower units in Denver, Colorado for the next stop.

Disaster relief and evacuation sites
The 2013 flood affected 1,120 square miles of Larimer County and took out 85 percent of US 34 to Estes Park. When a shelter opens, people arrive with what they are wearing. We roll units on nights and weekends.

Festival camping and glamping
Multi-day camping events on open ground need more than a water jug by day two. A private room with hot water keeps campers on site instead of driving into town for a gym pass.
What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to a Fort Collins site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.
How we deliver and run private shower trailers in Fort Collins

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.
On longer or higher-traffic bookings in Fort Collins, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.
From your call to a private shower trailer running in Fort Collins
Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.
Tell us about the site
Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.
We match the trailer and the hookups
We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.
Delivery and setup
We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.
Use it, we handle service and pickup
The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.
Placement and ADA rules for private shower trailers on Fort Collins sites
Fort Collins requires a special event permit for anything on city streets, sidewalks, parks or natural areas, and the attachments are due no later than 15 business days before the event. A separate parks event permit covers group use of a city park or trail. Organizers planning a demonstration more than 24 hours out that expects over 50 people, or that will block a right of way, are asked to reach the special event lead early. We put our placement on your site map, so the permit reviewer sees it the first time.
Waste is the part people get wrong. Larimer County Environmental Health permits on-site wastewater systems under the state Water Quality Control Commission Regulation 43, and the county rules are clear that you do not run a pipe from a unit to the ground. Colorado also has a graywater rule, Regulation 86, which works by local adoption: a city or county sets up its own graywater program under it. Our standard practice covers both paths. Shower water stays in the waste tank and leaves with a licensed pump truck, or it goes to a septic connection the county has approved in writing. On a long hold we set that tie-in up front, the same way we do on our ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer placements at multi-month sites.
On the work side, OSHA requires washing facilities in near proximity when employees are exposed to paints, coatings or other harmful contaminants, and each lavatory needs running hot and cold or tepid water with soap. Showers come from the substance standards, so lead, asbestos and cadmium jobs each carry their own shower requirement. Colorado agricultural labor rules add a heat trigger at 80 degrees with shade, cool water and cool-down rest. Larimer County also sets fire restrictions by elevation band, and in 2026 those ran from May 6 into September. We plan generator placement around whatever band your site falls in.

What the ADA unit and the site access plan include
- ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
- Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
- Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
- Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.
One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.
Why work crews budget for a crew shower trailer first in Fort Collins

Think about what a Fort Collins deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.
A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.
Crew shower trailer rentals for Fort Collins construction and plant work

There is a lot of dirt moving in this county right now. CDOT finished 14 miles of express lanes from CO 56 in Berthoud to just past Prospect Road, and the Mead to Berthoud segment is due in 2028. Northern Water is moving on Glade Reservoir northwest of town, which needs seven miles of US 287 relocated. Fort Collins Utilities expects the Army Corps Record of Decision on the Halligan dam replacement in 2026. No buildings. Crews on open ground.
The county and campus side looks the same. Larimer County opened a transfer station on West Trilby Road and a landfill on North County Road 9 near Rawhide on August 3, 2026. CSU topped out the 77,626 square foot ATLAS laser building in April 2026 and is replacing Clark B with a 90,000 square foot building. UCHealth broke ground on a 24 hour emergency center on the 96 acre Harmony Campus. Crews on a live campus cannot use the restrooms in the building they are gutting. So the showers come to them.
Plant work is its own animal. Woodward, Broadcom and the Anheuser-Busch brewery all run turnarounds where contract crews work in heat, dust or chemical exposure and cannot walk back through clean production space in their work clothes. OSHA requires washing facilities in near proximity when workers are exposed to paints, coatings or other harmful contaminants, and it has said plainly that towelettes do not count. On lead, asbestos and cadmium work the substance standards require a shower. That is the job we bring private shower trailer rentals for work crews to, and we bring the laundry combo when the crew cannot leave site to wash clothes.
Residential crews are busy too. Timnath and Severance are the fastest growing towns in the state going into 2026, and Poudre School District built new middle-high schools in Timnath and Wellington off a 375 million dollar bond. Those sites start as a dirt field with one temporary power pole. We set a temporary shower and restroom combo on a tight lot, then step up to the 8-Station once the crew count climbs. Ask for a quote and we will size it off your shift schedule.
Portable shower trailers for Fort Collins races and mud runs

Race weekends here start in the dark and end in a parking lot. The Colorado Marathon runs Sunday, May 3, 2026, and the full course starts up Poudre Canyon above 6,000 feet before dropping along the Cache la Poudre into town. It sells out every year. Volunteers and shuttle staff are up that canyon before dawn, and there is nothing up there. We stage a unit with heat for that start, because a 5 a.m. canyon morning in May is cold.
The Horsetooth Half Marathon turned 50 and runs Sunday, April 19, 2026. It starts at 5,195 feet, climbs almost 500 feet to the top of Monster Mountain by mile 1.7, tracks the east shore of Horsetooth Reservoir, then takes Bingham Hill and finishes at New Belgium Brewing. Finish-area parking is thin. The shoulders are thinner. So we stage before the road closes, and after 13 miles of that course a hot shower changes a runner’s whole afternoon.
FoCo Fondo takes over the weekend of July 16 to 19, 2026 with more than 2,000 riders. The short route runs city bike paths out to the CSU Environmental Learning Center. The long one is 118 miles with about 7,432 feet of climbing. Riders come back filthy with a long drive home. Tour de Fat rolls through Old Town on August 29, 2026. Mud runs are the easy sell. Nobody wants that in their truck.
Our temporary shower facility rentals go in next to the medical tent and the bag drop, not behind the porta banks, because a rinse-off line is part of the finish experience. We plan water the way the race plans water. If the venue has a hydrant meter we use it. If not, we bring the supply. Call us early for April and May dates.

What three recent jobs with self-contained shower units near the Fort Collins area looked like

Highway crew lead, long hold on a north county job
A Tuesday morning call from a staging yard off County Road 9, near where the new landfill opened. Crew of 26, no service connection, eight weeks of work ahead. We set the 4-Station combo so the washer and dryer were on site, ran a generator for two weeks, then tied the waste line into an approved septic connection once the county signed off.
County emergency manager, thunderstorm over a burn scar
Mid-afternoon on a Sunday in July. Rain over the Cameron Peak scar had pushed mud onto Colorado 14 and crews were going to be in that canyon for days. We had a unit on the road inside the hour and staged it at a wide pull-off below the debris, out of the drainage. Road crews showered at shift change instead of driving 40 miles back to town.
Race director, April finish at the brewery
She called on a Thursday, nine days out, because the finish-area plan had changed and the rinse-off tent was gone. We put a private unit on the grass next to the bag drop and fed it off a hydrant meter. Thirteen hundred runners came off Bingham Hill and had hot water within a hundred feet of the line.
Neighborhoods we cover with deluxe shower trailer rentals

We deliver across Fort Collins and out through Larimer and Weld counties, from Old Town lots to canyon pull-off spots on Colorado 14. Our service area is every state, and this is a local hub with units staged nearby. Tell us the cross streets and we will tell you what fits.
We cover Fort Collins shower trailer rentals across Colorado. Towns and job corridors we serve include Old Town, Midtown, Campus West, Harmony Corridor, Fossil Creek, Rigden Farm, Timberline, Horsetooth, Laporte, Bellvue, Timnath, Wellington, Windsor, Severance, Loveland, Berthoud, Johnstown, Greeley, Masonville, Red Feather Lakes, Livermore, Estes Park, Ault, Eaton.
Working beyond the city line? See our full shower trailer coverage across Colorado.
Old Town and the River District
Load-in windows downtown are narrow, and the Linden Hybrid Street design means a street that carries traffic Thursday is festival floor Saturday. Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest fills these blocks with five stages. We place units against the event permit, not after it.
Midtown
The corridor between Prospect and Harmony is the densest new apartment construction in the city, anchored by Foothills Mall and Jessup Farm. Sites here are tight infill lots with a shared alley. The 11 foot 2-Station combo fits where the 8-Station cannot turn.
Harmony Corridor and South Fort Collins
New commercial and health care building runs along Harmony, including the UCHealth emergency center east of Snow Mesa Drive. Crews here work long phases on big pads. We set once and service on a fixed weekly route.
West Fort Collins and the foothills
This is where the wildland interface starts, above the brewery district and out toward Horsetooth Mountain Open Space. Fire crews, trail crews and race courses all work this edge. Access is the limiting factor, so we scout before we schedule.
North College and North Fort Collins
The industrial corridor north of the river runs out to the CSU research farm and the Wellington corridor. The Rescue Mission has plans for a 40,000 square foot facility west of North College and Hibdon Court. Outreach work here needs units that arrive stocked.
East Fort Collins and Timnath
Everything east of Timberline runs out toward Timnath, where the school district built a 247,500 square foot middle-high school on East Prospect. Subdivision sites start as dirt with one power pole. We bring the cord and the hose.
Planned rentals are usually scheduled the same week, and we do our best to cover last-minute Fort Collins dates when a trailer is nearby.
Reviews from the crews using our hot-water shower trailers

“Renting their shower trailer made our football party in Fort Collins so much better, and the customer service was great too.”

“The whole experience was easy and stress free. For my 40th birthday party near Fort Collins I had one of their trailers on site, and it was even nicer than I hoped. I will be recommending them to all my friends.”

“The setup crew was helpful and professional, and our shower trailer rental was in excellent shape. I was very satisfied and would tell anyone to call them.”

“The shower trailers are kept clean and neat, and the customer service is outstanding.”

“This is a well organized business with exceptional service. Anyone in Fort Collins who needs a mobile shower trailer should give them a call.”

“The shower trailer was amazing and in excellent condition, and so was the service.”
What productions ask about hot-water shower trailers in Fort Collins

What permits do we need, and where can the trailer actually sit in Fort Collins?
For anything on a city street, sidewalk, park or natural area you need a special event permit from the city, and the attachments are due at least 15 business days ahead. A group event in a park or on a trail also needs a parks event permit. On private property or a fenced job site you usually do not need a city permit for the unit itself. Your site plan still has to show it. We give you the footprint and the clearance we need so the reviewer sees it the first time.
When does it make sense to take a combo unit with restrooms and laundry instead of a shower bank?
Take the combo when the crew is small and staying a while. The 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo gives four private bathrooms that each have a toilet and a shower, plus a washer and dryer in a separate room, and it fits a crew of about 30. That is the right call on a multi-week canyon job. If the crew is big and the showers are the bottleneck, take the 8-Station.
How many shower stations do we need for our head count and shift turnover?
Size it off the overlap, not the roster. The 8-Station handles about 200 people a day when the flow is spread out, and much less if everyone shows up in a 40 minute window. On a two shift camp the peak is the crossing between the shift going to bed and the shift coming off the line. So we plan station count against that crossing. Send your shift times and head count and we will give you a number the same day.
Do we need a water hookup, or can the unit run on its own tanks or a delivered supply?
All three work. The 8-Station carries 200 gallons of fresh water against 950 gallons of waste, and heads are metered at 1.5 gallons a minute, so onboard water is roughly 19 or 20 showers before a resupply. Fresh water, not waste, is usually the first limit on a camp. If your site has a line we tie in. If it has a hydrant we set up a meter with the city. And if it has neither we put a delivered supply on a schedule.
Will your units meet CAL FIRE and agency requirements for an interagency order?
Yes. The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer is CAL FIRE approved, and we are registered on SAM.gov, licensed and insured. On federal incidents mobile showers are ordered as a unit type through the national contract, and regional mobilization for Colorado moves through the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center. We send specs, insurance and registration in one packet, so your logistics section is not chasing paper.
Can you bring an ADA unit with a ramp to a site like a fairgrounds lot or a gravel pad?
Yes, and more often than people expect. The ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer has two standard rooms plus one ADA room with a built-in ramp, and it meets federal ADA requirements. The Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo pairs an ADA china toilet and grab bars with a roll-in shower that has a seat and a wand. Both need a firm level approach for the ramp. On a gravel pad we will ask where the truck can set square.
Is a shower unit reliable in a Fort Collins winter, and does it hold up in a heat wave?
Every unit has AC and heat with a smart thermostat, and plumbing stays heated and insulated for winter work. The real enemy here is the freeze-thaw swing, since Chinook winds can push a February afternoon into the fifties before the site refreezes overnight. So we ask for a pad that drains. In summer the heads run hot and cold, and a crew coming off a 95 degree shift can take a cool rinse. We have kept units working through November mornings on remote pads without a freeze.
Where does the grey water go, how often do you pump, and can you tie into septic?
It goes into the onboard waste tank and leaves with a licensed pump truck, or it goes to a septic connection that Larimer County has approved. The county permits on-site wastewater systems under state Regulation 43, and its rules do not allow a pipe from a unit to the ground. Pump cadence is set by head count, not the calendar. A 200 person camp gets a very different schedule than a 12 person crew. On holds longer than a month we usually set the tie-in up front.
Does our site need anything ready before your truck shows up?
A level spot, a clear approach, and a decision about power and water. Gravel beats dirt, especially between November and March. The 8-Station draws power from one 50 amp 220 volt circuit and the smaller units use two 120 volt 20 amp circuits. We bring a generator when there is no panel. If the pad is a canyon pull-off we want to look first.
Are long holds available for multi-month work like the Glade Reservoir or Halligan projects?
Yes, long holds are most of what we do on infrastructure work. We set units for months at a time on highway, reservoir and utility jobs, with a fixed service route and a septic tie-in where the county approves it. What moves the number is station count, distance, pump frequency and whether we are staging power and water. Give us the start date and the expected crew curve and we will build it around both.
Should we book early for race weekends like the Colorado Marathon or the Horsetooth Half?
Yes, and earlier than you think. The Colorado Marathon runs May 3, 2026 and the Horsetooth Half runs April 19, 2026, and both weekends pull every available unit in Northern Colorado at once. FoCo Fondo adds more than 2,000 riders over July 16 to 19. We start taking spring race holds in winter. Call as soon as your course plan is firm.

Planning private shower trailers for a wildfire base camp in Larimer County
A base camp is a small town you build in a day. Sleeping tents and a mobile kitchen. Somewhere to get clean. Showers get ordered last and complained about first. That is backwards. After years of fire work on the northern Front Range, we plan the shower line before anything else, because it is the only part of camp with a hard ceiling on throughput.
Start with the shift crossing. A roster tells you how many people are assigned. It does not tell you how many want a shower at the same moment. On a two shift operation the crush comes when the night shift is trying to sleep and the day shift is coming off the line. Size the station count against that window. One 8-station unit covers about 200 people across a full day, and far fewer if you squeeze them into 90 minutes.
What to ask before you rent crew shower trailers for a Fort Collins jobsite
Most shower rentals go sideways for the same few reasons. Nobody asked the right question at quote time. Here is the list we wish every project manager in Larimer County would run before signing anything. Ours included.
Ask what actually triggers the shower on your job. OSHA requires washing facilities in near proximity when workers are exposed to paints, coatings or other harmful contaminants, and each lavatory needs running hot and cold or tepid water with soap. The agency has said plainly that waterless cleaners and towelettes do not substitute. Showers themselves come from the substance standards, so lead work under 29 CFR 1910.1025 carries its own shower provision, as do asbestos and cadmium. That tells you whether you need a rinse station or a full bank.
Race weekend checklist for portable shower trailers in Fort Collins
This is a race town. The Horsetooth Half Marathon runs April 19, 2026. The Colorado Marathon runs May 3, 2026. FoCo Fondo takes July 16 to 19 with more than 2,000 riders. Three of those want clean-up capacity, on the same handful of weekends.
Book the dates before you finalize the course. Race directors here ignore this one most often. Every available unit in Northern Colorado gets pulled onto the same April and May weekends, and a course change nine days out is a much easier problem than a missing unit. We start holding spring race dates in winter.
Long-term mobile shower trailer rentals for multi-month Northern Colorado projects
There is more long-duration work in Larimer County now than at any point we have operated here, and long holds are a different discipline than event rentals. CDOT finished 14 miles of express lanes from CO 56 in Berthoud to just past Prospect Road, and Mead to Berthoud runs to 2028. Northern Water is moving on Glade Reservoir northwest of town, which needs seven miles of US 287 relocated. Fort Collins Utilities expects the Army Corps Record of Decision on the Halligan dam replacement in 2026. None of that is a two week job.
On a long hold the first thing we plan is the service route, not the unit. A three day rental can be served whenever. A six month rental needs a route that works in August dust and February ice, with a pump truck that can reach the pad and turn around. Pick the pad for serviceability. It saves a hundred small problems later.
