The Lavatory sets the bar for hot-water shower trailer rentals in Tacoma
We run the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. and we own every unit in it. Eight years of staging showers in this market taught us what makes or breaks a crew’s morning: the fortieth person through the door gets water just as hot as the first one did. Our heaters and tanks are sized for back-to-back use, and the metered heads hold a steady draw so nobody catches a cold rinse at shift change. We are licensed and insured, and we are registered in SAM.gov so a public agency can contract with us directly. Ask for a free quote and we will match a unit to your head count, or call us and we will talk it through. For the case in full, read “The Benefits of Renting Portable Shower Trailers.”
One person, one locking room
Every room in our fleet locks from the inside and serves one person at a time. That is what lets a mixed crew work without building two of everything. Construction in Pierce County runs about 80 percent male, which means there is almost always somebody on your crew an open shower house does not serve.
We own all 250-plus units
We are not a broker, so the trailer in the photo is the trailer that shows up. When a contractor calls us in August during a fire mobilization, we are moving our own equipment instead of calling around hoping somebody has one free. That is the difference between a hold and a maybe.
Servicing is on us, not your foreman
We stock the unit and we service it on a cadence set by your head count, not a default weekly visit. Your superintendent should not be managing soap. Give us the gate hours and tell us who has the key, and it stops being your problem.
We quote Tacoma grade before we quote the trailer
The Tideflats is filled tideland at sea level and the North End climbs hard from there. We measure the slope and the turn at the drop point first, because a trailer that will not sit level is a trailer nobody showers in.
“We had 55 guys on a terminal job off Taylor Way and nowhere to wash up. The 8-Station showed up on a Tuesday and was running by noon. Two months in, I have not had to think about it once.”
“We run a hygiene day twice a month and used to turn people away at 2:45. With the trailer we got through everybody who lined up, including two folks in wheelchairs.”
“Straight answers on tank sizes when I asked. Nobody else would give me gallons.”
Proof from the race weekends we have served with crew shower trailers
The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp. A fire agency near Tacoma once called on a Thursday because the unit another company promised for a weekend base camp fell through, and we had a fully stocked trailer set and heated with hours to spare. A production running a long shoot outside town needed showers that held up day after day for cast and crew, and the same trailer stayed spotless through the whole schedule because our team serviced it. That standard travels to every Tacoma booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground. Tournament weekends often spill into the next town, where we also offer Seattle private shower trailer rentals.
Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.
Portable shower trailers for Tideflats crews and Pierce County housing pads
Our 8-Station is the unit we send into the Tideflats most often, because eight rooms clear a 40-person crew in under an hour. It is also CAL FIRE approved, which matters the moment an incident team starts vetting what comes onto a camp.

Pierce County carried about 24,000 construction jobs in 2024, and plenty of those crews work ground with no plumbed building on it. The Port of Tacoma industrial center alone held 10,161 jobs as of 2019, spread across cargo terminals, metal shops and fuel operations. Add the SR 167 Completion work, where Stage 1B put 20 bridge structures and a million cubic yards of fill between I-5 and SR 509 on a schedule that runs into summer 2026. Guy F. Atkinson has had crews on that corridor since 2022. Those crews finish a shift covered in Tideflats dust, and then they climb into their own trucks.
We started sending units into this market eight years ago, and the first thing we learned here was about grade. The Tideflats is filled tideland at sea level. Two miles uphill, a Hilltop or Stadium District site can sit on a steep street. So we measure the drop at the drop point before we quote anything. On a big crew our 8-Station Private Shower Trailer is usually the answer, because eight rooms turning every ten minutes is 48 showers an hour. A 40-person crew clears before the trucks are loaded.
Room by room: what a shower unit gives you
Private rooms with a lockable door
Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.
Hot and cold water controls
A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.
Air conditioning and heat
Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.
One-piece gel-coated fiberglass
Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.
Runs with or without hookups
Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.
Serviced, stocked and pumped
We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.
The housing wave moving into construction across South Hill, Spanaway and Frederickson in 2026 is a different animal. Those are raw pads. No hose bib and no drain. A temp pole at best. We bring water in, and on a long job we look at tying into a sewer instead of running a pump truck every other day. The 950 gallon waste tank on the big unit is about 126 showers at five minutes each. That is the number that sets your service schedule, not the fresh tank.
Asbestos work is the one job type where Washington requires showers outright. Crews inside a sealed containment area have to shower at the end of the shift and cannot leave the site in dirty work clothes. There is a lot of pre-1980 building stock downtown and on the Eastside, so this comes up more here than people expect. We have set the change room and shower sequence on those jobs, and the layout matters more than the equipment does. Dirty side in, clean side out. Nobody crosses in the middle.
Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Tacoma head count.
The full shower trailer fleet is one page over; below is how we size a unit to a Washington job.
Five sizes of hot-water shower trailers, and how to pick one for Tacoma
Five shower units cover everything from a single ADA-compliant room to a camp that showers two hundred people a day. Every one has hot water, private rooms and climate control. Tell us the head count, how long the job runs and what the site has for water and power, and we will size it.

8-Station Private Shower Trailer
Eight completely private shower rooms in a 29-foot box, built for crews, camps and relief sites of up to about 200 people a day. Hot and cold controls, 200-gallon fresh and 950-gallon waste tanks, an exterior four-sink hand wash bank under the roof line, and it can tie into on-site septic for long deployments. CAL FIRE approved for wildfire camp service, the spec incident teams ask for in every western state.

ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer
Two standard private shower rooms plus one ADA room with a self-contained ramp, built to federal ADA requirements. The right unit when a site needs accessibility without giving up capacity, with 210 gallons of fresh water on board.

4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo
Four private bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, shower and power outlet, plus a washer and dryer in a separate room. A self-contained hygiene block for a crew of up to about 30 on a remote or long-term job.

2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo
Two private bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower each, in a compact 11-foot box. The pick for a small crew, a ranch job or a production base that needs both functions in one footprint.

Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo
One fully accessible room: ADA china toilet with grab bars, roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, ADA-height sink and vanity, and a ramp that deploys in minutes. It pairs with any other unit so every person on site is covered.
Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.
For sites beyond this city, our Washington shower trailer service area lists every region we deliver to.
First call to final pickup for a hot-water shower trailer in Tacoma
Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.
Tell us about the site
Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.
We match the trailer and the hookups
We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.
Delivery and setup
We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.
Use it, we handle service and pickup
The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.
What one shift without a shower trailer costs remote jobsites

Think about what a Tacoma deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.
A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.
Mobile shower unit rentals for wildfire and incident base camps

Washington’s 2026 fire season opened on May 7 and ran to 425,000 acres. Two people died and about 11,000 were evacuated. Ecology had already declared a statewide drought emergency back in April after a thin snowpack. On August 1 the state issued its first ever Particularly Dangerous Situation red flag warning, the governor declared a fire emergency, and a burn ban went up through September 30. The Wonderland Complex started in Pierce County on August 24.
The big acreage this year sat east of the Cascades. Sinlahekin burned 154,480 acres in Okanogan County. Kaiser Canyon took another 138,213. Pierce County’s own fires stayed small, which is the honest picture for a west-side page. A camp supplier on this side of the mountains stages off the I-5 corridor and rolls east. That is how our units move, and it is why having them parked near Tacoma matters during a mobilization.
Our 8-Station is CAL FIRE approved, and on a camp that is the first question an incident team asks. The unit handles about 200 people a day. Crews come off a line with ash in their hair and soot in their collars, and a metered head with real volume behind it decides whether a crew sleeps that night. We have learned to set the trailer between the sleeping area and the wash line, not out at the edge of a camp where nobody walks.
Smoke is the other half of this work, and on the west side it is usually the bigger half. Washington’s wildfire smoke rule became permanent on May 16, 2025. Once PM2.5 reaches 35.5 micrograms, an employer has to put exposure controls in place, and an enclosed filtered space is one of the accepted ones. Our trailers are sealed and air conditioned, so they end up doubling as the one clean-air room on a smoky site. The state declared a public health emergency over smoke on August 7 this year.
Outreach hygiene programs get private shower trailers that hold up

Look at what a person without housing here actually has to work with. Common Good on Tacoma Avenue South runs two 20-minute shower slots an hour, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. The downtown Tacoma YMCA gives 30 minutes total to shower and change. LASA’s hygiene center out on Gravelly Lake Drive splits the week, with families on Wednesday and Thursday and single adults on Tuesday and Friday.
Those are the hours a fixed building can offer. A trailer parked at a day center for a week changes the math, because nobody is rationing minutes anymore. The city already knows this works. Its own Stability Site on Puyallup Avenue was built around trailers for bathrooms, showers and laundry, set alongside pallet shelters and a large tent.
Accessibility is where these jobs get missed. Many of the people coming through a hygiene event use a walker or a chair. Our ADA shower trailer rentals put a roll-in shower with a seat and a hand wand behind a locking door, and the ramp comes attached so nobody builds one on a church lot. The Single-Station ADA Combo fits where there is room for one trailer and nothing more.
The TEMS villages serve roughly 1,000 people a year across the program. Associated Ministries on South 13th and the REACH Center on South L both see volume a fixed shower room was never sized for. We have set units at sites like these long enough to know the real constraint is not water. It is somewhere to put wet clothes and a bench to sit on while you wait your turn. Two hooks and a bench.

Placement and ADA rules for mobile shower units on Tacoma sites
Start with where the trailer can sit, because the answer on private ground is nothing like the answer in a public street. Tacoma’s right-of-way guidance is blunt: storage and construction trailers do not go in the right-of-way without specific approval from the Public Works Director. Occupancy of 90 days or more needs a Right-of-Way Occupancy permit under Tacoma Municipal Code 9.08, handled through Planning and Development Services on Market Street. Inside a fenced yard or on a private lot, none of that applies. We ask the placement question on the first call for exactly this reason. It changes the whole plan.
Water and waste carry their own paperwork. Tacoma’s wastewater office requires a Special Approved Discharge application at least 30 days before the discharge date if you plan to send flow to the city sewer on a temporary basis, with fees tied to how much you send and how strong it is. Hauled waste only enters the system with approval, the manager can require sampling of any load, and every load travels with a tracking form. On-site septic falls under the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. We carry the hauling and the forms on our side, but that 30 day clock belongs on your schedule.
Then there are the sanitation rules that apply to your crew whether or not you rent from us. Washington requires washing facilities with clean wash water between 70 and 100 degrees, plus soap strong enough to take off paints and coatings. Toilet counts scale with crew size, from one at ten workers up to five at 80, then one more for every 20 after that. Where 20 or more workers of both sexes are on a site, facilities have to be provided for each sex. Private locking rooms settle that without a second structure. On asbestos work the state goes further and requires showers outright for anyone working inside a sealed containment area.

What the ADA unit and the siting plan include
- ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
- Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
- Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
- Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.
One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.
More Tacoma work our portable shower trailers cover
Three kinds of work keep our Tacoma trailers busy most of the year. Heavy civil and industrial crew camps. Fire and incident support, almost all of it staged off the I-5 corridor. And hygiene programs run by the groups that serve people living outside.

Film and episodic production
Productions shooting here work around a one-time city film permit with applications due 60 days ahead. Crews on location all day need somewhere private, so we set rooms near base camp rather than making anyone walk. Washington Filmworks incentive money brings bigger shoots to Pierce County than most people expect.

Race weekends and sports camps
Sound to Narrows runs in June and the Tacoma Narrows Half runs in late August, both on courses that start and finish nowhere near a building with showers. We stage units at the finish for staff and volunteers. Team camps around Cheney Stadium and the Foss fields are the other half of this.

Military and agency field work
JBLM covers about 70,000 acres nine miles southwest of town, and plenty of contract work happens far from any plumbed building. We are registered in SAM.gov so an agency can contract with us directly. Our ADA units meet federal requirements, which public work usually demands.

Storm and flood recovery
Wet season here means multi-day outages and high water on the Puyallup and the Carbon. We hold reserve units through those months and dispatch around the clock. A shower and laundry combo on a generator turns a cold community building into somewhere people can function again.

Plant shutdowns and turnarounds
Industrial work in the Tideflats comes in bursts, with outside crews brought in for a two or three week window. Those crews need facilities that appear and disappear on the same schedule. We have set units inside fence lines where the contractor had no access to the plant’s own locker rooms.
What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to a Tacoma site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.
Keeping hot-water shower trailers clean through a long Tacoma job

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.
On longer or higher-traffic bookings in Tacoma, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.
How our shower trailers handled three Tacoma jobs

Terminal project engineer, Blair Waterway
Their temporary water line froze on a Tuesday morning in January and 38 people had no way to wash up. We had a 2-Station combo on site by early afternoon and a water delivery booked for the next morning. It stayed nine weeks while they rebuilt the line.
Outreach coordinator, Eastside church lot
They asked for a wheelchair accessible shower four days before a Saturday hygiene event. We swapped the Single-Station ADA Combo in for the unit already on the order. The ramp came attached so nothing got built on the lot. They served people who had been turned away from the fixed sites that week.
Community center director, Graham
Power was out for three days after a mid-November windstorm and the building was limping along on a borrowed generator. We set the 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo in the side lot and tied it into that generator. Staff and neighbors both used it, and the laundry room got more traffic than the showers did.
Neighborhood by neighborhood mobile shower trailer delivery in Tacoma

We deliver across Tacoma and out through Pierce County, from the Tideflats down to Spanaway and across the Narrows Bridge to Gig Harbor. Most of the metro is a same-week drop, and emergency calls go out the same day.
We cover Tacoma shower trailer rentals across Washington. Towns and job corridors we serve include Downtown Tacoma, Hilltop, Stadium District, Proctor District, North End, Old Town, Ruston, West End, South Tacoma, Tacoma Mall, Lincoln District, Fern Hill, Eastside, Salishan, McKinley Hill, Northeast Tacoma, Dash Point, Tideflats, Lakewood, University Place, Fife, Puyallup, South Hill, Frederickson.
For a site elsewhere in the state, start from the Washington shower trailer page.

Tideflats and the Port
Pierce County’s densest industrial ground, more than 5,000 acres with roughly 10,000 jobs inside it. Terminal work, metal shops and fuel operations all run crews that finish dirty. Flat filled land makes this the easiest delivery in the county.

Hilltop and the Stadium District
Older buildings on steep streets, which is a harder combination than it sounds. Renovation and abatement work up here often triggers a required shower sequence. The grade limits how long a trailer can be, so we usually bring a shorter unit.

South Tacoma and the Mall area
Commercial build-outs and distribution work around the Tacoma Mall and South Tacoma Way. Sites here usually have real power and water, which keeps setup simple. Parking lot placements are common and need a spotter on the way in.

Eastside and Salishan
A lot of the county’s outreach and day-center work happens on this side of town, near Swan Creek Park and along Portland Avenue. Events here draw more people than a fixed shower room can handle. We bring the ADA unit as a matter of course.

Northeast Tacoma and Dash Point
Wooded and hilly out toward Dash Point State Park, which means narrow approaches under tree cover. Storm work concentrates here when the wind comes up. Access is the whole conversation before we commit to a window.

Frederickson and Spanaway
Housing construction is moving into these areas through 2026, much of it on raw pads in unincorporated county. Expect no water, no drain and a temp pole at best. We plan deliveries and pumping before the first crew shows up.
Planned rentals are usually scheduled the same week, and we do our best to cover last-minute Tacoma dates when a trailer is nearby.
Reviews of our private shower trailer rentals in Tacoma
“We pulled a unit out of Tacoma for a camp east of the mountains on about fourteen hours notice. It arrived stocked, which is not a given in August. The CAL FIRE paperwork was already in the folder.”
“Three days without power after the windstorm. They put a shower and laundry combo on a generator in our lot and our staff could get clean before shift. That is the only reason we stayed open.”
“Our talent will not use a plastic stall and they definitely will not drive to a gym. The private rooms ended an argument I have on every shoot.”
“Raw pad, no water, no drain. They handled the water deliveries and the pumping on a schedule I never had to chase. The heat worked in January, which I was skeptical about.”
“The ADA unit made the difference for us. The ramp came with it, so we did not have to build anything on a church lot.”
“Volunteers worked a 14 hour day in the rain. Somewhere warm to rinse off at the end kept half of them from quitting on me for next year.”
Questions we get about mobile shower units in Tacoma

Can you get a shower trailer into a tight Tideflats yard and still get it level?
Usually yes, but tell us about the approach first. We need a straight run for the tow rig and a wide turn at the end. Tideflats yards are mostly flat filled ground, so leveling there is easy and we shim the rest. If the only way in is a sharp turn between a fence and a power pole, we send the 11 foot unit instead of the 35 foot one.
Is an 8-station unit overkill for a 25-person crew?
Often, yes. Twenty-five people can share fewer rooms when the shift ends at one time and folks will wait ten minutes. The 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo is rated for crews up to about 30 and gives you laundry in the same trailer. The 8-Station earns its spot on a crew over 40, or on any site where two shifts overlap.
Where do crews hit the limit on hot water during a long shift change?
Almost never at the heater, if the unit was sized right for the head count. The real limit is tank volume. At 1.5 gallons a minute, a five minute shower is about 7.5 gallons, so a 950 gallon waste tank is roughly 126 showers before a pump. With a live water feed and pumping on schedule, we have run one unit through two full shift changes a day for months.
What water supply do you need at a Tacoma site?
A hose bib within reach is the simplest setup there is. A standard garden hose keeps up with a few rooms running. Eight rooms at once will outpace it, so on a big crew we either set a larger feed or schedule water deliveries. With no water at all, the 200 gallon fresh tank on the 8-Station is about 26 showers, and we build deliveries around your peak.
When do we need a generator instead of a wall circuit?
Whenever your temporary service cannot give us what the unit draws. The 8-Station needs one dedicated 50 amp 220 volt circuit. The smaller units need two separate 120 volt 20 amp circuits, and two means two, not one duplex outlet with a splitter. On raw pads in Frederickson and Spanaway we usually end up on a generator, and we put the fuel in the plan up front.
How often does the greywater get pumped?
It depends on use, not on a calendar. We set the cadence from your head count and then adjust after the first week. A 60 person crew on the big unit often needs a pump every two or three days. A 12 person crew can go a week or more. On jobs running past a couple of months we look at a sewer tie-in instead, since that ends the pump cycle entirely.
Do we need a permit to put a shower trailer on a Tacoma street?
For public right-of-way, plan on it. Tacoma’s rules say storage and construction trailers do not sit in the right-of-way without specific approval from the Public Works Director, and occupancy of 90 days or more needs a Right-of-Way Occupancy permit under the municipal code. On private property or inside a fenced yard you avoid all of it. We ask about placement on the first call, because that one answer changes everything downstream.
Will an ADA shower trailer work on a gravel lot?
Yes, with a firm and level approach. The ramp is built into the unit, so nothing gets constructed on site. What matters is the surface the ramp lands on, because a chair needs firm ground and not loose pea gravel. We bring mats or plate for the landing when a lot is soft, and we set the unit so the ramp faces the flattest side.
Does winter rain cause problems with these units?
Rain, no. Soft ground, sometimes. The city sees about 41 inches a year and most of it falls between October and May. Every unit has heat and a smart thermostat, so the inside is the warmest spot on the site in January. The thing we watch is the pad, since a gravel area that held up in September can rut by midwinter.
How fast can you get a trailer out for a flood or a storm?
Same day or next day on emergency calls, and we dispatch around the clock. This region earns that. More than 600,000 Washington homes lost power in the November 2024 windstorm, and the Puyallup valley has a long flood record, including the January 2009 event that moved 26,000 people out of their homes. We hold reserve units through the wet months for those calls.
Are there rules about where the waste goes in Tacoma?
Yes, and they are worth knowing early. Hauled waste only goes into the city system with approval, and every load needs a tracking form. For a temporary discharge straight to the sewer, the city requires a Special Approved Discharge application at least 30 days ahead of the discharge date. On-site septic is regulated by the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. We handle the hauling and the forms on our end, but that 30 day clock is the one to put on your own schedule.
Planning guides for hot-water shower rentals around Tacoma

We rent restroom and laundry trailers out of the same yard, so one call can cover the whole site instead of three.
A site prep checklist before a shower trailer lands in Tacoma
Most problems on a Tacoma delivery were decided a week before we showed up. Not by us. By whoever picked the spot. This is the list we walk through with a site manager, in the order it actually matters.
Start with the approach. A loaded tow rig needs a straight run and a wide turn at the end. Tideflats yards usually give you both. Downtown and Hilltop often do not. If the only way in is a 90 degree turn between a fence and a power pole, say so on the phone, because we will send a shorter unit instead of finding out at 7 a.m. The 11 foot 2-Station combo goes places a 35 foot trailer cannot.
When to book a shower trailer in Pierce County, month by month
Availability in this market is seasonal in ways that are not obvious until you have missed a date. We keep a Tacoma calendar in our heads, and it looks nothing like a generic rental calendar.
March through May is when heavy civil work wakes up and the school and park calendar fills in behind it. The Rainiers opened at Cheney Stadium on March 31 this year against El Paso, and the ballpark runs 75 home dates across the season. Pierce County also ran its regional lahar evacuation exercise on April 23, 2026, with districts from Puyallup out to Wilkeson walking their routes. Drills on that scale book support equipment weeks out. Spring fills up fast.
What changes the cost of a shower trailer rental around Tacoma
People ask us for a number before they tell us anything about the job. Fair enough. But six or seven things move a quote, and most of them are decisions you control rather than line items we invented.
Station count and term are the two biggest levers. Eight rooms cost more to move and service than two. A three day drop and a ten month deployment get priced on completely different logic, and the long one is almost always better value per day. So before you ask for a number, pin down your peak head count and your real end date. That one answer changes everything.
Shower trailer, gym passes or a plumbed building: how to pick for a Tacoma job
There are three ways to get a crew clean on a Tacoma job and they are not interchangeable. We have lost work to both of the other two. Sometimes the other side was right.
Gym memberships or day passes are the cheap first idea. They work for a small crew on a short job inside the city, where a facility sits a few minutes from the site. They fall apart fast past that. A 40 person crew arriving at a gym at 5:30 p.m. becomes a problem for the gym, and nobody showers in a place that does not want them there. The paid hour you lose driving back and forth, every day, for every worker, is a real number on a schedule. Multiply it out.
