Why choose The Lavatory

Private shower trailers, placed right, for Aurora job sites

Fairground dirt off East Quincy and track paddock pavement out past Deer Trail both come up, so we ask about the pad before the truck leaves. How level is it, and where is the power. That one call is why our Colorado shower trailer rentals land in a single clean trip instead of two. We own over 250 units, the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S., and eight years staging units in this market means we already know which Aurora lots take a 35 foot rig and which ones do not. Call us or request a free quote and we will walk the placement with you.

Rooms with doors that lock

Eight private rooms on the flagship, each a real room with a working latch. People change without standing where the whole site can see them.

Hot water that holds to the last room

Metered 1.5 GPM heads with hot and cold controls in every room. Station eight gets the same temperature as station one.

Built for a Colorado winter

AC and heat with a smart thermostat, and gel-coated fiberglass inside with no seams to scrub. We plan freeze protection before November.

We plan water around Aurora’s hydrant rules

Hydrant water in Aurora is metered by the utility and limited to construction use, so a crew cannot just open a valve and top off a tank. We build the fill schedule into the rental, which keeps a water truck from becoming the thing that holds up a shift.

Behind it

The multi-station shower trailers that get booked again and again

The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp, so the trailer has to be stocked, heated and serviced every day of the job, not just the first one. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every Aurora booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground. We send the same sizes and floor plans for temporary shower trailers in Fort Collins.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Private shower trailer rentals for film base camps in Aurora

The 8-Station is what we send most often in Aurora, because a 200-person day covers both shifts on a data center build out east. One 50 amp circuit is usually the easiest thing to find on a site that already has a temp power pole.

8-station shower trailer in a dry open field, one crew member climbing a stair while another waits at the rail

Colorado refunds up to 20 percent of what a production spends here, and 22 percent for work inside an Enterprise Zone. That brings crews to Aurora, and the city makes it workable. The film office sits at 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, applications moved to DevPortal.AuroraGov.org, and staff want about 30 days of notice before the first shoot day. Scouts keep coming back to Stanley Marketplace, the old Stanley Aviation plant from 1954. The round barn at DeLaney Farm and the open prairie at Plains Conservation Center get the same treatment. Productions that move between locations can add Colorado Springs shower trailer rentals for the next set.

Base camp is where the trouble starts. Aurora holds loud work to 7 a.m. through 6 p.m. on weekdays and noon through 6 p.m. on weekends, and residential noise tops out near 55 dBA in the day and 45 dBA at night at the property line. Park a noisy rig behind a house in Hoffman Heights and somebody calls. Our units are quiet, and they need only one circuit because they hold their own water. Nobody has to pump them in the middle of a take. Location shoots rarely stay in one town, so we also handle portable shower trailer rentals in Denver, CO.

The parts of the private room that matter on day twelve

Private rooms with a lockable door

Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.

Hot and cold water controls

A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.

Air conditioning and heat

Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.

One-piece gel-coated fiberglass

Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.

Runs with or without hookups

Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.

Serviced, stocked and pumped

We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.

On a 70-person day we send the 8-Station. Eight private rooms with hot and cold controls, and the exterior 4-sink hand wash bank on the 8-Station keeps grip and makeup out of one restroom line. Wardrobe is the thing people forget. The 4-Station combo carries a washer and dryer in a separate room, which matters on a two-week shoot where the same dozen shirts go back on camera every morning.

Cold mornings are the real production problem here. A 5 a.m. call in March at 5,400 feet puts crew in the dark at 20 degrees, and a warm room with a door that locks changes the mood of the whole day. Every unit carries AC and heat with a smart thermostat, and we stock and service it on the schedule you set.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Aurora head count.

Every configuration lives on the shower trailer service page. Here is how we match one to a Colorado site.

Five shower units cover everything from a single ADA-compliant room to a camp that showers two hundred people a day. Every one has hot water, private rooms and climate control. Tell us the head count, how long the job runs and what the site has for water and power, and we will size it.

Eight completely private shower rooms in a 29-foot box, built for crews, camps and relief sites of up to about 200 people a day. Hot and cold controls, 200-gallon fresh and 950-gallon waste tanks, an exterior four-sink hand wash bank under the roof line, and it can tie into on-site septic for long deployments. CAL FIRE approved for wildfire camp service, the spec incident teams ask for in every western state.

One fully accessible room: ADA china toilet with grab bars, roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, ADA-height sink and vanity, and a ramp that deploys in minutes. It pairs with any other unit so every person on site is covered.

Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.

For sites beyond this city, our Colorado shower trailer service area lists every region we deliver to.

Crew shower trailer rentals for Aurora job sites and long builds

8-station shower trailer with eight doors and eight stair units on a gravel lot, a two-station restroom trailer parked beside it

Northeast Aurora is the biggest dirt job in the metro. The airport-area development zone covers about 21,000 acres, and The Aurora Highlands alone is a 4,000-acre plan with roughly 5,000 homes coming. Ames Construction is building the I-70 Aerotropolis Parkway interchange, due around November 2026. East of that, QTS is filling a 65-acre data center campus built for heavy power loads. None of those sites had a restroom or a tap on day one.

OSHA’s construction sanitation standard sets a floor of one toilet for 20 workers or fewer, then a seat and a urinal per 40 above that. Good contractors go past the floor and write washing and showers into the site plan. We see it most on concrete and demolition jobs, where crews finish the shift coated. A hot rinse before the drive home is the cheapest thing on the job that keeps people coming back Monday.

Fitzsimons is a different animal. The CU Anschutz campus covers 256 acres inside a 578-acre life science district, and roughly 25,000 people work there every day. Trade crews cannot walk through patient areas to wash up, and infection control will not bend, so the unit goes into a contractor laydown yard the size of a few parking stalls. Bioscience 3 broke ground there, and another 340,000 square feet of lab space lands in 2026.

Long jobs change the math. With 200 gallons of fresh water onboard and 950 of waste, a job that runs past a month is usually better off tied into septic than waiting on a pump truck twice a week, but crews also want laundry by week three, which is when the 4-Station combo earns its keep. RK Industries is standing up a 154,488 square foot headquarters here with 1,786 jobs attached, so the long-build list is not getting shorter.

At a glance

Why sports camps budget for a crew shower trailer first in Aurora

The 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo trailer, available for rent in Aurora

Think about what an Aurora deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.

A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.

Day one

Keeping mobile shower units clean through a long Aurora job

The ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer, two standard rooms plus one ADA room, available for rent in Aurora

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.

On longer or higher-traffic bookings in Aurora, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.

Nothing fancy

Site planning for private shower trailers in Aurora, done right

Start with the federal floor. OSHA’s construction sanitation standard asks for one toilet facility for 20 workers or fewer, then a seat and a urinal per 40 above that, with washing facilities near the toilets and the eating area. Heat is the other one to watch. OSHA reissued its Heat National Emphasis Program in April 2026 for a five-year run, and inspectors can arrive on any day the National Weather Service posts a heat advisory. General contractors in Arapahoe and Adams counties are already writing rest and wash-off into the plan. Work clothes from a contaminated site need their own plan, covered in our post on laundry trailers for hazmat job sites.

Then there is the city. Any placement that touches parking or the flow of traffic in the public right of way needs an approved traffic control plan before Aurora will issue a Public Improvement Permit, and occupancy fees follow the length and the duration of the closure. Aurora issues its own transport permits for oversize moves, and those are good only on city streets. Parker Road is a state highway and E-470 is a tollway. County roads out east answer to the county. One job can need three permits, and we handle our side of that. Our drivers run the same power and water checks for clean, private restrooms around Boulder, 30 miles northwest of Aurora.

Water and waste have their own paper. Metro Water Recovery accepts hauled waste from chemical toilets and septic tanks, but only from companies holding a hauled waste discharge permit with monthly reporting. Colorado’s Regulation 86 covers graywater, which includes shower and laundry water, and the approved end uses are narrow, so greywater from portable shower trailer rentals gets captured and hauled to a permitted point, never dumped on the pad. Ask any vendor where their water goes, because the answer tells you plenty.

What the ADA unit and the site access plan include

  • ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.

More jobs our mobile shower unit rentals cover in Aurora

Three jobs keep us busiest in this city: film base camps, long construction camps and race weekends. All three need hot water and privacy, and each one goes wrong in its own way. Here is what we have learned on each one.

Disaster relief and displaced residents

A three-alarm fire on North Dillon Way in May 2026 pushed about 50 people out of 24 apartments. A relief site needs hot water the same night, with no hookups waiting. We dispatch around the clock.

Street outreach hygiene days

The Aurora Regional Navigation Campus opened on East 40th Avenue with room for roughly 600 people, and the 2026 count found 832 people in the city without housing. Hygiene days need privacy and real ADA access.

Agency and military field work

Buckley supports about 3,500 active duty members plus roughly 4,000 Guard and reserve personnel. Exercises and contractor projects both want documented, self-contained facilities, and we are SAM.gov registered.

Sports camps and tournaments

Aurora Sports Park has 12 ball fields and 23 grass fields, and a multi-day tournament brings teams that never leave the complex. Temporary shower facility rentals sit near the shelters.

Festival and glamping camping

Aurora Fest fills the Municipal Center Great Lawn every June, and private campsites go up on ranch land out east. A deluxe shower trailer makes a tent weekend bearable.

Remote and off-grid sites

Survey and utility crews work where the nearest plumbing is 20 miles away. A self-contained shower unit rental handles a full week with no hookup at all.

What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to an Aurora site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

The night it fails

Booking a crew shower trailer for Aurora in four steps

Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the site

Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.

2

We match the trailer and the hookups

We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.

4

Use it, we handle service and pickup

The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Hot-water shower trailer rentals for race weekends near Aurora

The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer, our highest-capacity unit, available for rent in Aurora

Aurora Reservoir runs the city’s race calendar. The Polar Plunge and 5K hits the water there on March 28, 2026, at 5800 S. Powhaton Road, and the Surf and Turf youth triathlon follows on July 12 with a freshwater swim near 70 degrees. One event puts people in cold water on purpose, while the other sends teenagers onto a dirt run course. Both end with a crowd that wants hot water fast.

Out east, High Plains Raceway at Deer Trail is the honest case study. The track trucks in all of its water, and there is no running water for filling a bucket or washing a car. Tent camping in the paddock is free on overnight weekends, and the outlets are electrical only, in 20 amp through 50 amp configurations. Their own restroom and shower trailers shut down for winter. A cold April weekend is exactly when a unit has to show up with its own tank.

Mud runs and obstacle events end the same way everywhere. A few hundred finishers caked to the knees and a parking lot with two spigots. We stage the 8-Station near the finish chute when the lot allows it, because the exterior 4-sink hand wash bank on the 8-Station takes the first wave while the rooms handle the rest. The ADA + 2 goes in beside it, since a ramp and a roll-in room are not optional at a public event.

Bigger weekends move to the fairgrounds. Arapahoe County Fairgrounds on East Quincy is 236 acres with a 45,000 square foot exhibition center and an outdoor arena, and the county fair ran July 23 through 26 in 2026 for its 120th year. Aurora Sports Park covers 220 acres with 23 grass fields and parking for more than 2,500 vehicles. A national youth tournament there fills the corridor. Teams camp, and coaches ask about showers.

Skip the guesswork

How private shower trailers gets planned for the jobs we see most in the Aurora area

The 2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo trailer, available for rent in Aurora

Site superintendent, airport-corridor subdivision

For a dirt crew of seventy working an August subdivision with no tap for a mile, we plan an 8-Station on a graded pad near the temp power and put it on a twice-weekly fill, so nobody has to drive to a gas station to wash up.

Production manager, multi-week shoot off Colfax

For a shoot on a narrow residential street where a neighbor is watching the noise ordinance, we place a unit in a nearby lot on a 120 volt circuit and run a shuttle, so the base camp stays off the street.

Race director, Aurora Reservoir

For a cold-water swim event with a full lot of shivering finishers, we set the ADA + 2 at the beach lot with the ramp facing the finish line, so the field clears fast even on a 38 degree morning.

Aurora neighborhoods we serve with temporary shower facility rentals

8-station shower trailer in a dry open field, one crew member climbing a stair while another waits at the rail

We cover all 154 square miles of Aurora and the three counties it sits in, Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas. Same-day and next-day drops are normal inside E-470. We run out to Watkins and Deer Trail on schedule, and we reach Centennial, Parker and Commerce City the same way. Give us the cross streets and we will tell you what fits.

We cover Aurora shower trailer rentals across Colorado. Towns and job corridors we serve include Original Aurora, Fitzsimons, Hoffman Heights, Aurora Hills, Village East, Del Mar, Expo Park, Utah Park, Centretech, Lynn Knoll, Highline Villages, Heather Gardens, Sable Altura, Meadowood, Summer Valley, Mission Viejo, Smoky Hill, Piney Creek, Tallyn’s Reach, Saddle Rock, Southlands, Beacon Point, Murphy Creek, Painted Prairie.

For a site elsewhere in the state, start from the Colorado shower trailer page.

Original Aurora and the Colfax corridor

Tight streets, alleys and older multifamily. The East Colfax bus rapid transit build is moving block by block from Yosemite to I-225, so lane closures are constant and curb space is gone. Infill crews here want a small footprint and a traffic control plan.

Fitzsimons and Anschutz

Roughly 25,000 people work the medical campus every day. Badge zones and infection control keep trade crews out of hospital restrooms. A tight turning radius matters more than square footage in that laydown yard.

The Aurora Highlands and Painted Prairie

Raw graded ground with nothing to break the wind and services miles off. Painted Prairie is only in phase two of ten and still building west toward Picadilly Street. Crews out here want water onboard and a fill schedule, not a promise about a tap.

Buckley and central Aurora

Agency and contractor work along the base fence line, plus school and municipal projects through Village East. On federal jobs the paperwork moves before the trailer does. Heather Gardens nearby is age restricted, which puts quiet placement at the top of the list.

Southlands and Smoky Hill

Newer subdivisions, HOA rules and long construction entrances. Southlands sits at Smoky Hill Road and E-470, and the Parker Road work at Quincy and Smoky Hill is closing lanes into December 2026. We schedule deliveries around those closures.

The east plains edge

Gravel county roads toward Watkins, Bennett and Deer Trail, plus the fairgrounds off East Quincy. Pumping runs are longer out here, so the service cadence gets planned up front. Farm and track sites take a self-contained unit better than a hookup.

Planned rentals are usually scheduled the same week, and we do our best to cover last-minute Aurora dates when a trailer is nearby. See also: 8-Station private shower trailers.

What sports camps ask about multi-station shower trailers in Aurora

The Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo trailer, available for rent in Aurora
How long can we keep a mobile shower unit on an Aurora job that runs past a year?

As long as you need it. Most of our Aurora work is monthly, and long builds out in the aerotropolis often run two or three years. On anything past a month we look at a septic tie-in instead of scheduled pumping, because it is cheaper in labor and it never misses. We also swap in a larger or smaller unit mid-term if your head count changes. Tell us the expected end date and we will structure the term around it.

Do you rent a combo unit that puts restrooms and laundry together with the showers?

Yes. The 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo has four private bathrooms, and each one holds a toilet and a shower and its own outlet. The washer and dryer sit in a separate room so laundry does not tie up a bathroom. It fits crews up to about 30. On a camp that runs more than two weeks, laundry is usually the thing people ask for first.

Will eight stations keep up with a 120-person crew working two shifts in Aurora?

Yes, with one service visit in the middle. The 8-Station is rated for about 200 people a day, so 120 across two shifts is inside its range, so the real limit is water, not stations. Eight minutes at 1.5 GPM is about 12 gallons per person, so 120 showers is well past the 200 gallons the unit carries onboard. We plan a hookup or a fill schedule to cover it.

Can you run without a water tap out in The Aurora Highlands, and what changes in a drought year?

We can. The unit holds its own fresh water and waste and needs only power to work. In a dry year, where the refill water comes from matters most, because Aurora meters hydrant water and limits it to construction use. We usually bring water in on a set schedule instead of chasing a valve on site. Our 1.5 GPM metered heads also stretch a tank much further than an open hose would.

Is your equipment CAL FIRE approved and acceptable for agency work at Buckley?

The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer is CAL FIRE approved, and we are SAM.gov registered for federal contracting. We are licensed and insured, and certificates go out the same day you ask. Federal and state jobs usually want the paperwork before the site visit, so send us the solicitation number and we will match the documents to it. Agency deployments also get a documented service log.

Where does the trailer need to sit on an Aurora site, and how level does the pad have to be?

Firm and close to level is the short answer. Compacted gravel, graded subgrade and asphalt all work, and we carry blocking for small variations. The 8-Station is 29 feet of box and 35 with the tongue, so we need room to back in and swing, plus clearance for the door side and the steps. Out on open ground past E-470 we set the doors away from the prevailing wind. Send a photo of the spot and we will confirm it before dispatch.

What does cleaning and restocking look like on a deployment that runs for weeks?

Our own crews handle it, not a subcontractor. A normal cadence is two or three visits a week, and we go daily on high-traffic camps and relief sites. Each visit covers cleaning, restocking supplies and a check of water and waste levels. On long deployments we can add an attendant for shift windows. You get one phone number for all of it.

When do you pump the waste tank, and when does a septic tie-in make more sense?

We pump on a schedule built from your head count, not on guesswork. The 8-Station carries 950 gallons of waste, which is generous on a self-contained day and tight once a water line is connected. Past about a month on one spot, a septic tie-in beats pumping on both cost and reliability. All hauled waste goes to a permitted receiving point under a hauled waste discharge permit. None of it touches your site.

Does a shower trailer work in an Aurora winter at 5,400 feet?

Yes, ours do. Every unit has AC and heat with a smart thermostat, and we prep lines and tanks for freeze season before the first hard night. January lows near 22 degrees are routine here and the city averages about 60 inches of snow. Access is the part people underestimate, since a plowed lot with a snow pile in the wrong place can block a delivery. Tell us where the plow pushes snow and we will place around it.

How fast can you reach an Aurora relief site after an apartment fire?

We dispatch 24 hours a day and we keep units staged in the metro, so a same-day delivery is normal and overnight is common on multi-unit events. Aurora sees several displacement fires a year, including the three-alarm fire on North Dillon Way in May 2026 that emptied 24 apartments. Relief sites rarely have hookups, which is why self-contained matters. Call the emergency line and give us an address and a head count.

Do you deliver past the city line, out toward Watkins and Bennett?

We do, and we are out there often. Fairgrounds work off East Quincy, raceway weekends at Deer Trail and ranch sites past Bennett are all normal runs for us. The only thing that changes is the service cadence, because a pump run from the east plains takes longer than one inside E-470. We plan that before the first delivery rather than after.

The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer, our highest-capacity unit, available for rent in Aurora

Deeper reading for site managers, camp coordinators and producers, from sizing a shower trailer to the head count to keeping hot water through a long deployment. Tap any guide to open it.

How to size a shower trailer rental for an Aurora crew

Sizing gets done wrong in the same two ways every time. Somebody counts bodies and forgets shifts, or counts stations and forgets gallons. Both mistakes show up on day three, when the hot water quits at 4:30 and half the crew is still waiting.

Start with head count per shift, not head count total. A 120-person job that splits into two shifts is really two 60-person showers separated by six hours. The 8-Station handles about 200 people a day, so it covers that job. A 40-person single-shift crew that all finishes at the same minute is a harder problem than a 90-person crew that trickles out across two hours.

Winter shower trailer rentals in Aurora: planning for freeze season

Cold is the thing that separates a real unit from a box with a showerhead in it. Aurora sits at about 5,400 feet on the high plains. January lows near 22 degrees are average, not extreme, and the city averages roughly 60 inches of snow a year.

The storm people still talk about hit in mid-March 2021. Aurora took about 25 inches, Denver took 27, and the airport closed its runways for most of a day with thousands of flights cancelled. Crews that had no water for two days learned a lesson about planning. March is not a safe month out here.

Questions to ask before you rent a portable shower trailer in Aurora

Most rental disappointments trace back to a question nobody asked. Here are the ones that matter in this market, in the order we would ask them.

Do you own the unit? Plenty of companies broker equipment they have never seen. If the answer is vague, you are going to be the middle of a phone chain the first time something breaks. We own over 250 units outright and our own crews service them. Ask how many units they keep staged in this metro, too. A company with equipment two states away cannot cover an emergency swap on your job.

Water in Aurora is not a background detail. The city declared a Stage 1 drought and asked residents and businesses for a 20 percent cut in use, with reservoirs sitting near 58 percent full in late March, roughly 10 percent under normal for the date.

Aurora Water is better equipped than most utilities for a dry stretch. The Prairie Waters system pulls water through riverbank infiltration near Brighton and moves it south to the Peter D. Binney plant at Aurora Reservoir. By April the system was producing 9.7 million gallons a day, up from 5.1 the previous summer. That is the backdrop for every construction water conversation in this city right now.
