Why choose The Lavatory

The Lavatory owns its fleet: restroom trailer rentals for El Paso, never brokered

The trailer that backs into your driveway in Kern Place or your church lot in Socorro belongs to us, and so does the truck pulling it. We do not take your order and pass it to whoever answers a load board. We own more than 250 luxury trailers, the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S., and we have been in event and equipment rental for over 30 years. We are licensed and insured, registered on SAM.gov, and A+ rated with the BBB. That matters most on a bad day. If a water main breaks or a door latch sticks at 9 p.m., you call the company that owns the unit, and we fix it. Call us now for a fast answer on dates, or request a free quote and we will confirm the unit, the route and the drop spot in writing.

One company from call to pickup

We are a direct fleet, not a reseller. Everyone on your job works for us, from the first phone call to the pickup, so nothing gets lost between a broker and a subcontractor.

Luxury is all we rent

We have never owned a plastic porta potty. Every unit has flushing china toilets, sinks with running water and climate control.

AC sized for desert heat

El Paso logged a record 70 days at 100 degrees or more in 2023. Our roof units are built to keep the rooms cool through long afternoons, and we start them early so the trailer is cold when guests arrive.

We plan around the mountain

The Franklin Mountains split El Paso into a west side and an east side, and Transmountain Road or I-10 are the only ways across. We stage the trailer on the right side of the mountain the day before so a traffic jam never makes it late.

Count on it

Who books our VIP restroom trailers when it has to work

The companies that could rent anything still call us for restrooms, because a cheap plastic unit at a launch party or a shareholder event ruins everything the day is meant to say. The Lavatory has provided luxury restrooms for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A luxury restroom is the one vendor a guest uses and remembers, for better or worse, so the trailer has to be stocked, clean and working from the first guest to the last. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every El Paso booking, from a backyard engagement party to a festival gate.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Emergency restroom trailer rentals when El Paso water or power goes out

For a backyard quinceanera or a small ceremony, the 2-Station or 3-Station is usually plenty. A 300 guest reception at an Upper Valley venue or a parish kermes on a busy Saturday calls for the 5-Station or the 9-Station, and we add an ADA + 2 unit when the public is invited.

A Lavatory 3-Station restroom trailer with steel stairs on a gravel lot beside a sidewalk, with new homes and a wood fence behind it

On the night of January 10, 2026, a large water main broke near Girl Scout Street and Transmountain Road, close to Skyline Park. El Paso Water first counted about 38,000 customers with little or no water, and later reports put the number near 100,000 people across the Northeast and parts of Central El Paso. About 15 reservoirs drained. A boil water notice stayed in place until January 15.

Schools felt it right away. EPISD closed Canyon Hills and Navarette middle schools plus Clendenin and Park elementary on January 13, and the EPCC Transmountain Campus closed too. Families lined up for bottled water at North Skies Park, Sue Young Park, Veterans Park and Chapin High School. The utility later said the break came from 70 year old pipe and valves that failed to close, and it expects more breaks as that pipe ages.

When the water stops, toilets stop flushing. That is the moment a self-contained portable restroom trailer earns its keep. Our units carry their own fresh water and their own waste tanks, so a school, church, clinic, office or restaurant can stay open while crews dig. We set the trailer as close to the door as the lot allows, and we come back to pump and refill until the water is back on.

Outages hit from other directions too. Monsoon storms in 2025 left nearly 18,000 El Paso Electric customers in the dark in one evening, and an August 2026 flood event knocked out power in Far East El Paso. A broken sewer line or a remodel can close a restaurant’s restrooms for weeks. Call our 24/7 line with the address and the number of people on site, and we will tell you how fast a trailer can get there.

Suite by suite: what a trailer gives you

Flushing china toilets

Real porcelain toilets with a foot flush, the same fixtures your guests use at home, not a chemical tank.

Running-water sinks

Stainless steel sinks with real running water, hand soap, and towels, fed by onboard water tanks so you are covered even without a hookup.

Climate control

Air conditioning for a summer afternoon and heat for a cold evening, so the trailer stays comfortable no matter the season.

Framed mirrors and lighting

Oversized framed vanity mirrors, warm interior lighting, and finished flooring that reads like a venue restroom, not a jobsite.

Fully stocked, always fresh

Premium toilet paper, towels, soap, and fragrance, restocked and pumped so the unit stays fresh from the first guest to the last.

Power and water handled

Onboard water tanks plus a generator when your site has no hookup, so the trailer runs anywhere from a vineyard to an open field.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 5-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your El Paso guest count.

Every configuration lives on the luxury restroom trailer service page. Here is how we match one to a Texas event.

The honest answer

Which of our deluxe restroom trailers fits an El Paso event

Five sizes cover everything from a single ADA-compliant suite to a festival crowd. Every one has flushing china toilets, running water and climate control. Tell us your guest count and how long the event runs, and we will size it.

Our take

First call to final pickup for a luxury bathroom trailer in El Paso

Booking should be the easy part of planning an event. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the event

Share your date, your rough guest count, and the venue. That is enough for us to point you to the right size trailer.

2

We match the trailer and site

We pair you with a unit, confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, and stock it so it is ready and fresh before the first guest.

4

Enjoy it, we handle pickup

The trailer holds up through your whole event while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Luxury bathroom trailer rentals for vineyard, ranch and backyard weddings near El Paso

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer with women's and men's doors parked at a curb under shade trees beside a lawn

Weddings are the biggest reason people rent our trailers, and the land around El Paso gives couples plenty of places to say yes outdoors. The Upper Valley runs along the Rio Grande toward Canutillo, Vinton and Anthony, with pecan orchards, horse property and the start of the Mesilla Valley wine trail. Zin Valle Vineyards in Canutillo hosts receptions for up to about 100 guests, and La Vina Winery sits just over the state line on Highway 28.

Ranch and hacienda venues ring the city. Grace Gardens covers 14 acres on Westside Drive, Hacienda Sol y Luna sits on Horizon Boulevard, and The Ranch on Vinton Road offers a barn on open country. Many of these places have a few indoor restrooms that were never built for 250 guests and an open bar. Others have none near the lawn where the tent goes up.

Backyard weddings and quinceaneras are just as common here. A big family reception in the Lower Valley or on a Westside lot can run late into the night, and many families host a recalentado brunch the next morning. A luxury bathroom trailer keeps guests out of the house, protects the septic system, and gives everyone a clean, lit room with a mirror and running water.

Ground and access decide where the trailer goes. Upper Valley lots often have soft dirt, irrigation ditches and narrow gates, so we walk the route on a map with you before the date. We set the trailer level, face the doors toward the party and light the path. Call us early for spring and fall Saturdays, and request a quote with your guest count so we can size it right.

Simply this

Site planning for luxury bathroom trailers in El Paso, done right

A party in your own backyard usually needs no permit for a private restroom trailer, though your HOA may have rules on where it can park. Public events are different. The City of El Paso Planning and Inspections department handles parades, temporary events and special events, and applications are due between one year and 30 days ahead. A special event site map has to show where the portable restrooms, trash, stages and emergency access will go, and the plan has to show enough restrooms for the crowd.

If your event spills onto private property, the city asks for a letter from the property owner, and a Temporary Use Permit may be required. Downtown events also work with the Downtown Management District, and city park events use the Parks and Recreation temporary use application. We send you the trailer’s footprint, the door side and the clearances so you can drop them right onto your site map.

Long jobs sometimes use city water. El Paso Water issues fire hydrant meters to contractors, the Fire Department reviews the request within 48 hours, and the meter is set within 48 hours after that. Most events never need a hookup because our trailers carry their own water. Waste always leaves with a registered pump truck under Texas TCEQ rules, never into a storm drain, and our ADA + 2 unit is built to the federal 2010 ADA Standards.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for El Paso-area events

What the ADA unit and the placement plan include

  • ADA-accessible units with a self-contained ramp, wide door, grab bars, and turning room.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach and easy to service.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator staged when the site has no hookup.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some venues and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, and event restrooms. Tell us your venue and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the venue or the city as well.

Private restroom trailers for kermes nights, graduations and campus events

A Lavatory 5-Station restroom trailer on rocky desert ground with creosote bushes and a rock hillside behind it

Kermes season is one of the busiest stretches of the year in El Paso. The Catholic Diocese of El Paso lists more than two dozen parish festivals from late July through late October, with gorditas, raspas, live music, folklorico dancers and carnival rides. The 2026 calendar ran from Our Lady of the Light and St. Ignatius at the end of July to Our Lady of the Valley in October and St. Charles Seminary on October 24.

A parish hall might have four restrooms for a crowd of a few thousand over a weekend. The Ysleta Mission Festival has filled the second weekend of July for nearly a century, and the Socorro Mission festival brings matachines dancers in September. A 9-Station trailer on the edge of the parking lot, with an ADA unit beside it, keeps lines short and keeps the church building locked after hours.

Schools and campuses run into the same problem on the biggest days. UTEP holds fall commencement at the Don Haskins Center on December 12 and 13, 2026, and Minerpalooza fills the Sun Bowl lots every September. Ysleta ISD held its 2026 outdoor graduation at Hutchins Stadium. Booster carnivals, band contests, field days and tailgates all draw crowds to places where the building restrooms are far away or closed.

For church and school events we plan around the schedule, not just the date. We drop the trailer the day before, run power from an outside outlet or our own quiet generator, and pump it between nights on a multi-day festival. Parishes and districts that book for several weekends can set up one standing order. Call us to check your dates, then request a quote for the full season.

More ways customers put our upscale bathroom trailer rentals to work

Most calls we get from around El Paso fall into three groups. A building loses water and needs working restrooms fast. A couple plans a reception on land with no indoor bathrooms. A parish, school or campus expects more people than its buildings can handle. Each one calls for its own unit and its own service plan.

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for El Paso-area events

Restaurant and home remodels

A kitchen or bathroom remodel can take restrooms out of service for weeks. We park a 2-Station or 3-Station by the back door and service it weekly so you can stay open or stay home.

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for El Paso-area events

Sun Bowl week and stadium events

The 93rd Sun Bowl game is set for December 31, 2026 at the 51,500 seat stadium on the UTEP campus. Hospitality tents, sponsor areas and tailgates use our trailers to give guests something better than a plastic stall.

The 9-Station Restroom Trailer, our highest-capacity luxury unit, available for El Paso-area events

Downtown festivals and concerts

Neon Desert has filled downtown on Memorial Day weekend since 2011, and the El Paso Wine and Food Festival brings more than 100 wineries downtown in November. VIP areas and artist spaces get their own VIP restroom trailer.

Corporate and office events

Company picnics, plant open houses and customer days in the Butterfield and Montana corridors. We match the trailer to your head count and your brand’s standards.

The ADA + 2 Restroom Trailer, with a self-contained wheelchair ramp, available for El Paso-area events

Long term job site restrooms

Owners and site managers on long builds want a clean executive restroom for the trailer office and visiting clients. We set weekly service and keep the unit stocked for months.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for El Paso-area events

Winter holiday events

Holiday markets, church posadas and outdoor parties in December. Our units switch to heat, and we protect the water lines on nights that dip below freezing.

What ties these together is the guest experience. Nobody remembers a restroom that worked, but everybody remembers one that did not. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple counties away, getting a luxury trailer to an El Paso date, even a last-minute one, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Worth a minute

How we deliver and run temporary restroom trailers in El Paso

A Lavatory 5-Station restroom trailer on rocky desert ground with creosote bushes and a rock hillside behind it

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator, and stocks it before your first guest arrives. When the event wraps, we come back and haul it away. You never touch the logistics. That part is on us.

For longer or higher-traffic bookings in El Paso, we offer an on-site attendant who keeps the trailer stocked and spotless through the event, and we pump and refresh the unit so it holds up from the first guest to the last. That always-fresh standard is the difference between a restroom guests use once and one they are glad to use all night.

Daily reality

Why event hosts budget for a bathroom trailer first in El Paso

A Lavatory restroom trailer with four doors and four sets of steel stairs on a gravel lot in front of a block wall

Think about what an El Paso event actually costs to put on. The venue, the catering, the flowers, the photographer, the hours of planning. Then picture a guest walking out of a hot plastic box in the middle of all of it. Nobody plans for that. The restroom is the one vendor every single guest uses, often more than once, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole event by.

A luxury restroom trailer protects everything else you spent on. It reads like an extension of the venue, holds up through a full day of guests, and gives people one less thing to remember for the wrong reason. Set against the total cost of the day, it is a small line item that quietly carries a lot of the impression, which is exactly why the hosts who have been burned once book the trailer first the next time.

What you get

How a typical El Paso setup works with our restroom trailers

The 2-Station Restroom Trailer, our compact luxury unit, available for El Paso-area events

Typical setup: a restaurant during a water outage

When a restaurant loses water, we deliver a 3-Station to the back lot and set it near the staff entrance. The fresh tank covers handwashing and flushing, and we come back each morning to pump and refill until the line is repaired.

Typical setup: a 250 guest reception in the Upper Valley

For a tented reception on farm land, we place a 5-Station on firm, level ground about 100 feet from the tent. We light the path, start the AC in the afternoon and park our service truck where it will not block the caterer.

Typical setup: a three night parish kermes

For a weekend festival, we set a 9-Station and an ADA + 2 at the edge of the parking lot, away from the rides. We plug into an outside outlet or bring a quiet generator, and we pump and restock before the gates open each afternoon.

Neighborhoods and nearby towns for our event restroom trailer rentals

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer with women's and men's doors parked at a curb under shade trees beside a lawn

We deliver across all of El Paso, from the Westside and Kern Place to the Northeast, the Eastside and the Lower Valley. Our trucks also reach Socorro, Horizon City, San Elizario, Canutillo, Anthony, Santa Teresa and the rest of the Borderland. If your event is somewhere else, our complete luxury restroom trailer lineup covers every state, and our Texas restroom and shower locations list more cities near you. Planning a second event farther east? We also book San Antonio restroom trailer rentals and Dallas luxury restroom trailer rentals with the same crews and the same standards.

We cover El Paso luxury restroom trailer rentals across Texas. Neighborhoods and towns we serve include Westside, Upper Valley, Kern Place, Sunset Heights, Mission Hills, Coronado, Downtown, Central, Northeast, Album Park, Eastside, Eastlake, Lower Valley, Ysleta, Socorro, San Elizario, Horizon City, Canutillo, Vinton, Anthony, Fabens, Clint, Santa Teresa, Sunland Park.

For a venue elsewhere in the state, start from the Texas restroom trailer page.

Socorro and San Elizario

Mission Trail festivals, family parties and church events on larger rural lots. We plan longer drive times and confirm the gate before the truck rolls.

Canutillo, Vinton and Anthony

Vineyard receptions, ranch weddings and farm events at the north end of the valley. Soft dirt and narrow farm roads are normal, so we scout the approach.

Horizon City and Eastlake

Fast growing subdivisions with HOA rules, new churches and big school campuses. Driveway placement and quiet hours come up often.

Mission Hills and Coronado

Backyard weddings and graduation parties on hillside lots with steep driveways. We check the grade and bring blocking to level the trailer.

Northeast and Album Park

Homes, schools and offices near Dyer Street and Fort Bliss. When pipes fail here, we deliver to keep a building open.

Santa Teresa and Sunland Park

Events and long jobs just across the New Mexico line in the same metro. We deliver there on the same routes we use in West El Paso.

Most El Paso rentals can be delivered the same day, and our dispatch line answers 24/7 for last-minute and emergency dates.

What homeowners ask about temporary restroom trailers in El Paso

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for El Paso-area events
What happens on delivery day for a luxury restroom trailer in El Paso, and when do you pick it up?

We confirm a delivery window the week before, and most units arrive the day before your event so there is time to level and test everything. The driver sets the trailer, connects power, fills the fresh tank if needed and turns on the AC or heat. Pickup is usually the morning after, or Monday for a weekend wedding. For an outage, we move as fast as the route allows and tell you the real arrival time on the phone.

When do I need a city permit or HOA approval for a temporary restroom trailer in El Paso?

A private party on your own lot usually needs no city permit, but check your HOA rules on driveway parking. Public events that close streets, run more than a day, or cover more than one block go through the City of El Paso special events process, which wants the restroom locations on the site map. Apply between one year and 30 days ahead. We give you the trailer size and door side so the map is easy to finish.

How many restroom stations do I need for a 300 guest wedding with an open bar?

For about 300 guests over five hours, the 5-Station is the usual answer, since it serves about 200 to 500 people across an event that long. Add a 2-Station near the dance floor if the bar runs late or the reception goes past midnight. Very large receptions and festivals move up to the 9-Station. Tell us the guest count and the hours, and we will size it.

Do you clean and restock the trailer during a long event or a weekend festival?

Yes. On a one night wedding, the trailer arrives stocked with paper, soap and towels, and most couples never need more. On a multi-day kermes or festival, we come back between nights to pump the waste tank, refill water and restock. If you want an attendant on site during the event, ask when you book and we will plan it.

Will a luxury restroom trailer really feel different from a porta potty?

It will. A porta potty is a plastic box with a holding tank and no running water. Our trailers have flushing china toilets, sinks with running water, mirrors, lights and air conditioning, with separate women’s and men’s rooms. Guests walk up steps with handrails into a room that looks like a nice hotel restroom.

Can the trailer sit on dirt, grass or a sloped driveway in El Paso?

Usually, yes. We need a spot that is close to level, firm enough for a truck, and wide enough for the trailer plus room to back it in, often about 10 to 12 feet. Soft Upper Valley dirt after a monsoon storm can be a problem, so we check the forecast and the approach. We level the unit on site, and on steep hillside drives we may suggest the street side instead.

Is a long term rental possible for a remodel or a construction job?

Yes. Many customers keep a trailer for a month or more while a kitchen or church gets remodeled. Long builds work the same way. We set a weekly service day for pumping and restocking. If the site has power and a water line, we can hook up to them to cut down on service trips.

Where do I start if I want a trailer for a peak season wedding date?

Start with a phone call as soon as you have a date and a venue. Spring Saturdays from March to May and fall weekends in October and November fill first in El Paso, and they overlap with kermes and graduation season. A quick call tells you if the unit you want is open, and a written quote holds the details while you finish planning.

Can a self-contained bathroom trailer keep working during a boil water notice or a water main break?

Yes. Our trailers carry their own fresh water tank, so they do not depend on city pressure. During the January 2026 Northeast outage, homes and schools lost pressure for days, and that is exactly when a self-contained unit keeps a building open. We refill the fresh tank from clean water and pump the waste on a schedule until your service is back.

Will the trailer stay cool when it is 105 degrees outside?

Our roof AC units are built for desert heat, and we start them early so the rooms are cool when guests arrive. In summer we often face the doors away from the afternoon sun. For daytime events in June and July, we suggest a shaded spot when one is available.

Do you deliver to Santa Teresa, Sunland Park and Las Cruces?

Yes. Santa Teresa and Sunland Park sit just across the New Mexico line in the same metro, and we reach Las Cruces about 45 miles up I-10. Tell us the address and we will confirm the route and timing.

How a church or school can plan for the next El Paso water outage

The January 2026 main break showed how fast a normal week can turn. Four EPISD schools and the EPCC Transmountain Campus closed in a single day because restrooms stopped working. If you manage a campus, a church or an office in El Paso, write down three things now: how many people are in the building on a normal day, where a trailer could park within a short walk of the main door, and which outlet or panel could feed a 20 amp, 120 volt circuit. With those answers ready, one phone call is all it takes to get a unit moving. Save our 24/7 number with your facilities contacts so the first call does not go to a search engine at 6 a.m.

When the outage hits, call before you cancel anything. Give us the address, the head count and the hours you need to stay open. A 3-Station covers a small office or church staff. A school with hundreds of students needs a 9-Station or two units, plus an ADA trailer. We keep the fresh tank full and pump the waste daily until El Paso Water restores service, then we pick up the same day you tell us the water is back. Keep a copy of the boil notice map from the city’s emergency page, because it helps us plan which buildings to reach first.

El Paso Ready: January 2026 water main break updates

A season by season booking calendar for El Paso events

El Paso has two big outdoor seasons, and they are not the same as the rest of Texas. Spring runs from March into May, before the long string of 100 degree days. Fall starts in late September and runs into November, and it overlaps with kermes season, the La Vina harvest festival and the El Paso Wine and Food Festival. Those Saturdays book first, so call two to four months out if you can. Summer events still happen, but most move to the evening, and we plan for the AC to run hard from the moment we arrive.

Winter is short but real. February 2, 2011 had a high of only 15 degrees, and most years bring a few nights below freezing. For December posadas, holiday markets and the Sun Bowl on December 31, we switch the units to heat and protect the water lines overnight. Graduation season in late May and December adds another rush, because schools and families book at the same time. A quick call tells you what is open on your date, and a quote holds it.

Ten questions to ask before you rent a luxury bathroom trailer in El Paso

Start with ownership. Ask the company if it owns the trailer or if it will hire someone else to bring it, because a broker cannot fix a problem at 10 p.m. Then ask about the AC: is it a roof unit sized for the trailer, and when will it be turned on? Ask how many gallons the fresh and waste tanks hold, and how many guests that covers for your event length. Ask what kind of power the unit needs and whether the company can bring a quiet generator if your site has no outlet.

Next, ask about the site. What size spot does the trailer need, and how wide must the gate be? Who levels the unit, and what happens if the ground is soft? Ask whether an ADA unit is available if your event is open to the public. Ask what is stocked inside and whether someone will come back to service it on a multi-day event. Last, ask for the delivery window and the pickup time in writing. We answer all ten on the first call, and we put them in your quote.

Getting a special event permit in El Paso when restrooms are part of the plan

If your event closes a street, lasts more than a day or covers more than one block, the City of El Paso treats it as a special event. Planning and Inspections takes applications between one year and 30 days before the date. The site map has to show temporary structures, portable restrooms, trash, stages, parking and emergency access, with a legend and a north arrow. The city also looks for enough restrooms for the crowd you expect, so your restroom count belongs on the application from the start.

We make that part easy. Tell us your expected attendance and hours, and we send a written plan with the units, their footprints, the door sides and the clearance each one needs. If part of the event sits on private property, get the owner’s authorization letter early, since the city asks for it. Book the trailers before you file, so the units on your map are the units that show up. Changes after approval are possible, but they slow things down.

Sizing portable restroom trailers for a backyard quinceanera or family party

A quinceanera in El Paso can bring 200 or 300 guests to a backyard, with dinner, a dance and a long night. Most homes have two or three bathrooms, and a crowd that size will back up a home septic system or a city sewer lateral fast. For up to about 150 guests, a 2-Station or 3-Station handles it. Past 200 guests, or when the party runs past midnight, the 5-Station is the safer pick. If grandparents or guests with mobility needs are coming, add the ADA + 2 so nobody has to climb steps.

Placement matters as much as size. Put the trailer where guests can see it from the party but where the doors do not face the dance floor. Keep it out of the path of the caterer and the band. On many Lower Valley and Eastside lots, the driveway is the best spot because it is level and easy for our truck. If the family plans a recalentado brunch the next morning, keep the trailer one more day; it costs far less trouble than a clogged line at home.
