Why choose The Lavatory

Oklahoma City’s top-rated crew shower trailer rentals, handled by The Lavatory

We own the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S., over 250 units, and we have spent eight years staging shower trailers for work crews in this market. Our trailers carry their own fresh and waste tanks. So a unit works on a gravel pad off a county road the same way it works behind a downtown jobsite fence. No water line and no power drop, and your crew still gets hot showers. We stage a generator when the site has none, and we tie into septic on long deployments so nobody is watching a tank gauge. We own every unit we deliver, we are licensed and insured, and we never broker somebody else’s equipment. Call us or request a free quote and we will size the job with you over the phone. For other cities, see our Oklahoma coverage page.

We own the fleet

Over 250 units with our name on the title, not a broker’s phone list. When a camp calls at two in the morning we are moving our own equipment and we know what is loaded where.

Rooms that lock

Every station is a private room with a door you lock, hot and cold controls and air conditioning. That is the whole reason a crew actually uses it instead of driving home dirty.

Tanks ride along

Fresh and waste capacity travel with the unit, so a site with one spigot and no sewer is still a site we can serve today.

Fire season ready in February

Most of the country treats wildfire as a late summer problem. Out here it peaks in late winter, so our units come out of winter service early and stay loaded through spring.

Proof from the relief sites we have served with shower trailers

The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp. A fire agency near Oklahoma City once called on a Thursday because the unit another company promised for a weekend base camp fell through, and we had a fully stocked trailer set and heated with hours to spare. A production running a long shoot outside town needed showers that held up day after day for cast and crew, and the same trailer stayed spotless through the whole schedule because our team serviced it. That standard travels to every Oklahoma City booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground. Emergency orders outside Oklahoma City go through the same dispatch line, including Tulsa shower trailers for rent.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Shower trailers for wildfire base camps across central Oklahoma

In Oklahoma City the 8-Station is usually the right call, because the work here comes in waves. A shift change at one in the afternoon, a division coming off the line at dark. Eight rooms clears the wave without anybody standing in the sun.

An eight station white shower trailer staged on a gravel pad beside a rural fire station east of Oklahoma City, brush truck parked nearby, smoke haze on the horizon in late afternoon light.

Fire season in this state starts in February, not July. In February 2026 the state tracked 33 fires and hotspots across 23 counties in a single day, and the Governor declared a state of emergency. March 2025 was worse up close. Stillwater lost 202 homes, Logan County lost more than 113, and about 26,301 acres burned around Stillwater alone. Crews came in from everywhere and they had to sleep and wash somewhere.

Oklahoma Forestry Services prepositions suppression teams at Shawnee, Stillwater and Weatherford when the wind forecast turns bad. Put those three towns on a map with this city in the middle. Shawnee is 40 minutes east on I-40. Weatherford is about an hour west. Stillwater is an hour northeast. We stage here for exactly that reason, and a camp that goes up at six in the morning at a county fairgrounds can have a unit on the pad by that afternoon.

Standard on every shower room we send

Private rooms with a lockable door

Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.

Hot and cold water controls

A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.

Air conditioning and heat

Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.

One-piece gel-coated fiberglass

Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.

Runs with or without hookups

Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.

Serviced, stocked and pumped

We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.

We send the 8-Station Private Shower Trailer to these camps. Eight private rooms means a division coming off the line at dark is through in under an hour. The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer is also the only unit we own with the exterior 4-sink hand wash bank, and on a fire camp that bank earns its keep, because soot comes off hands and faces between tasks instead of at the end of a shift. Metered heads keep the 200 gallon fresh tank honest and we refill it on our schedule, not yours.

Here is what we have learned staging out here. The road in matters more than the pad does. Grass fire country means two track access and soft ground after the first rain, so we ask about the approach before we ask about power. We plan the waste route on day one too, because a camp that runs ten days needs the pump truck on a calendar. Call us during an event and a person answers.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your Oklahoma City head count.

Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.

Statewide coverage runs through our Oklahoma shower trailer hub, with units sized to the head count.

Actual timelines

The service behind every one of our private shower trailers in Oklahoma City

Setup morning for a fire and incident camps site near Oklahoma City

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.

On longer or higher-traffic bookings in Oklahoma City, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.

Other jobs we bring temporary shower trailers to

Most of our calls in this metro land in one of three buckets. Fire and incident camps. Construction and plant crews. Event camping, where people sleep on the grounds for weeks. The equipment overlaps. The planning does not.

Storm and ice response in Oklahoma City

Storm and ice response

Ice storms here are not a rumor. The October 2020 storm put more than 400,000 OG&E customers in the dark and some waited 11 days. Line and debris crews work those weeks with nowhere to clean up, so we deliver to staging yards and keep servicing through the thaw.

Film and TV production in Oklahoma City

Film and TV production

Oklahoma pays a cash rebate on qualified production spend, and shoots land in fields with no facilities. We keep units clean enough to sit in a frame and quiet enough to stay on during a take.

Shelter overflow and outreach hygiene in Oklahoma City

Shelter overflow and outreach hygiene

The Homeless Alliance day shelter averages about 300 guests a day in a building designed for 150. A mobile shower unit in the lot adds private rooms for a shower day without a construction project.

Military and agency field work in Oklahoma City

Military and agency field work

We are SAM.gov registered and we carry the paperwork an agency contract asks for. Guard and agency field exercises get the same daily service a paying jobsite gets.

Races and sports camps in Oklahoma City

Races and sports camps

The Memorial Marathon finish sits in Scissortail Park and regattas run all spring on the river. Athletes and volunteers need somewhere private to clean up near the staging area.

No-hookup job sites in Oklahoma City

No-hookup job sites

Data center shells and energy sites often have no water service for months. Onboard tanks and a staged generator cover that gap from the first week.

What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to an Oklahoma City site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Hard facts

A look at our self-contained shower units on site with relief sites

Actual Lavatory shower units on actual jobs. Base camps, jobsites, race weekends, productions and the relief sites where the trailer has to run for weeks.

Think it through

Where crew shower trailers can sit on an Oklahoma City site

Greywater off a shower is not yard water in this state. The Department of Environmental Quality licenses anyone in the business of pumping, hauling or disposing of wastewater from holding tanks, and that license renews every January 31. Waste from a holding tank goes to a permitted treatment plant, or to a city pretreatment facility that DEQ has approved. We handle that end and we keep the paper trail with it.

On a long job the better answer is not hauling at all. Where a site has sewer or a septic system that can take the volume, we tie in and the pump truck visits stop. That is a site by site call and it depends on what the property allows. For portable shower trailer rentals in Oklahoma we plan the waste route before we plan the delivery, because the back end is what fails first when nobody thought about it.

Worker hygiene on a construction site is covered by federal sanitation requirements, and OSHA has kept heat enforcement running through a national emphasis program it updated in April 2026 while its proposed heat standard is still pending. The proposed version would have employers write a plan for finding and controlling heat hazards. Careful contractors in a 38 day, 100 degree summer are already past that conversation. They put water, shade and a place to get clean on the site plan at the start. For hygiene programs in Oklahoma City, there is a short read on showers for neighbors in need.

The ADA and setup details we take care of

  • ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.

Crew shower trailer rentals for Oklahoma City construction camps

A private shower trailer set on a compacted pad inside a downtown Oklahoma City construction fence, tower crane and partially framed arena structure behind it, early morning.

Downtown has two big builds running at the same time. The Continental Coliseum broke ground in March 2026 across from Paycom Center and opens in 2028. The MAPS 4 multipurpose stadium started in spring 2026 east of the convention center, with a January 2028 opening. Neither site has spare room for a locker building, and the trades park offsite and walk in.

East of the city, the KC-46A campus at Tinker Air Force Base keeps adding hangars, with construction expected to run through 2029. Tinker is the largest single site employer in Oklahoma, about 28,000 military and civilian people. Base work comes with badging and escorts, so our delivery window belongs to somebody else. We also bring an ADA accessible shower trailer rental when a job has a worker who needs one, because a ramp added in week six is a headache for the whole site.

Linear work is where onboard tanks earn their money. ODOT has I-44 narrowed between SW 44th Street and I-240, and the I-240 and I-35 interchange is being rebuilt in phases. The first East-West Connector turnpike project was set to start in late 2026. A paving crew moves every week, and there is no hydrant waiting at the next station. New plants are the same story. Hapco broke ground on a 270,000 square foot pole plant in south Oklahoma City, and McKesson is building a 330,000 square foot distribution center in Moore that grows to 633 jobs by 2029. A building has no water service until late in the job.

After years of setting units on metro jobsites, the thing we argue about most with site managers is where the trailer goes. Put it by the break area. If it sits at the far fence, men skip the shower, drive home filthy, and the foreman hears about it from their wives. On long deployments we push the 4-Station combo with the washer and dryer, because nobody wants a week of wet gear riding home in a truck bed.

Festival camping and glamping shower trailer rentals near Oklahoma City

A deluxe mobile shower trailer parked at the edge of a grass camping field near Oklahoma City, canvas glamping tents and horse trailers in the background, string lights at dusk.

The biggest camping crowd in this city wears boots. The Markel AQHA and Adequan Select World Championship Shows run October 29 through November 18 at the OKC Fairgrounds, which is three weeks of stalls with grooms, trainers and families living on the grounds. AQHA is under contract with the fairgrounds through 2031. The RV hookups run out long before the stalls do.

The Oklahoma State Fair fills the same park for eleven days in September and draws close to a million visitors. The OG&E Coliseum opened there in June 2025, and the fairgrounds pulls about 1.1 million visitors a year on its own. Vendors and production crews sleep in trailers on the back lots through both runs, and a living quarters shower is small, cold and shared by four people.

Outside the city the demand looks different. Orr Family Farm rents Conestoga wagons and teepees near Moore. Lake Thunderbird sits east of Norman with tent and RV camping, and Arcadia Lake at Edmond has a 26 mile shoreline with several campgrounds on it. A guest paying a premium rate for canvas walls and a real bed will forgive a lot. Not a cold rinse.

The Oklahoma Regatta Festival runs October 2 through 4 on the Oklahoma River in the Boathouse District, and the USRowing Central Youth Championship brought crews from nine states to the same water in May 2026. Athletes change on a riverbank. We set deluxe private shower units close to team parking and well clear of the crowd path, with a quiet generator if the site has no drop. And we are gone Monday morning before the venue needs the lot back.

Getting a crew shower trailer to Oklahoma City, step by step

Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the site

Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.

2

We match the trailer and the hookups

We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.

4

Use it, we handle service and pickup

The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

In practice

What a portable shower trailer saves an Oklahoma City deployment

8-station shower unit on the central Oklahoma metro site

Think about what an Oklahoma City deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.

A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.

Who handles it

Real Oklahoma City bookings of multi-station shower trailers, in brief

between deployments, the central Oklahoma metro job

Fire staging at a county fairgrounds, late February

A task force set up east of the metro on a Tuesday morning with one spigot and an RV outlet. We had an 8-Station on the pad by mid afternoon, ran it on its own tanks for two days, then trucked water in when the well could not keep up. Thirteen days, daily pumping, no shutdown.

Night paving crew on a south side interstate job

Ten men working nine at night to seven in the morning wanted showers at sunrise, not at dinner. We moved service to eleven so the unit was full and hot when they finished. Small change. They kept it five months.

Three week horse show at the fairgrounds

Exhibitors had stalls but the hookups were long gone, and families were rinsing off in living quarters trailers. We set two units near the barn road and serviced both before the first class each morning. One trainer asked us to hold the same spot for next year.

District by district shower trailer placement in Oklahoma City

The central Oklahoma metro corridors we cover with shower trailers

We deliver across the metro and out along every highway leaving it. A call before noon usually gets same day or next day delivery inside the loop, and we cover fire and storm assignments further out. Send us your dates and your head count and we will tell you what fits.

We cover Oklahoma City shower trailer rentals across Oklahoma. Towns and job corridors we serve include Bricktown, Midtown, Automobile Alley, Deep Deuce, Plaza District, Paseo Arts District, Stockyards City, Capitol Hill, Wheeler District, Boathouse District, Adventure District, Chisholm Creek, Edmond, Norman, Moore, Midwest City, Del City, Yukon, Mustang, Bethany, Warr Acres, Choctaw, Harrah, El Reno.

Jobs outside town are covered too; the Oklahoma shower trailer coverage map shows every corridor.

Bricktown, Oklahoma

Bricktown

Event crowds, narrow service alleys and loading docks behind the canal. We spot units before seven in the morning or after the last seating, never mid event. Ballpark dates set the calendar here.

Boathouse District, Oklahoma

Boathouse District

Rowing and dragon boat racing on the Oklahoma River means athletes changing on a riverbank. We place private shower units near team parking and clear of the race path.

Stockyards City, Oklahoma

Stockyards City

Cattle auctions and livestock events keep this a working district with heavy truck traffic. Units go where a pump truck can reach without blocking a chute.

Midtown, Oklahoma

Midtown

Street festivals and steady infill construction sit side by side. Tight lots mean we bring a smaller combo and keep it off the sidewalk line.

Wheeler District, Oklahoma

Wheeler District

Housing is still going up on the south bank of the river. Build crews here run long jobs, which makes a monthly unit with a septic tie-in the simple answer.

Historic Capitol Hill, Oklahoma

Historic Capitol Hill

Older commercial buildings on the south side with narrow alleys behind them. Remodel crews use us for weeks at a time and we service early, before the shops open.

Planned rentals are usually scheduled the same week, and we do our best to cover last-minute Oklahoma City dates when a trailer is nearby.

shower trailers in Oklahoma City: what people ask first

Shower trailer on an event camping and glamping job, the central Oklahoma metro
How many shower stations do I need for a 60 person crew on a five in the morning summer shift?

Count the peak hour, not the roster. A work shower runs about 10 to 12 minutes door to door, so one private room clears roughly five people an hour. Eight rooms clears about 40 an hour, which covers 60 men in well under two hours with no line. If the same 60 are split across two shifts, a smaller unit is usually plenty.

Do your shower trailers meet CAL FIRE and agency requirements for a fire assignment?

The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer is CAL FIRE approved, which is the spec most incident contracts ask about. We are SAM.gov registered, licensed and insured, and we can send certificates before the purchase order goes out. Agency jobs also tend to want an accessible unit on site, and we carry one. Tell us which agency is holding the contract and we will match the paperwork to it.

Will someone service the trailer every day on a two week deployment, and can an attendant stay on site?

Yes on daily service, and we set the time with you so it never lands in the middle of your rush. A service visit means pumping waste, refilling fresh, restocking and wiping down the rooms. On busy camps and public facing events we can staff an attendant to keep rooms turning and supplies out. Nobody on your crew should be touching a hose or a pump.

Can a trailer run at a site west of Oklahoma City with no water hookup at all?

That is most of our work out that direction. The 8-Station carries 200 gallons of fresh and 950 gallons of waste, and the smaller combos carry 105 fresh. We refill on a schedule, and when a site has nothing at all we stage a water supply and a generator so the unit never goes down. Tell us how many people and how many days and we will set the fill cadence before delivery.

Is there enough hot water for back to back showers, and how fast does it recover?

The heaters are sized for continuous use, which is the difference between our units and a camper shower. Metered 1.5 GPM heads keep the draw steady so the last man gets the same temperature the first man got. Recovery keeps up with a normal rotation at the trailer. Where people get into trouble is running 20 minute showers, so on big camps we set expectations with the crew on day one.

Where does the waste go after it leaves our Oklahoma City jobsite?

To a permitted treatment plant, or to a city pretreatment facility approved by the Department of Environmental Quality. Oklahoma licenses the businesses that pump and haul that waste, and the license renews every January. On a long deployment we would rather tie into sewer or an approved septic system at the site, because that ends the hauling entirely. Either way you get a record of where it went.

What changes the cost of a shower trailer rental in the Oklahoma City metro?

Station count, how long you keep it, and how compressed your peak hour is. After that it is the site: whether there is water and power or we bring a generator and a delivered supply, how often we service, how far the haul is, and how much waste the job produces. Stocking consumables and staffing an attendant are add ons. Give us dates, head count and site conditions and we will put it all in one quote.

When should we add a second trailer instead of renting a bigger one?

When the camp spreads out or the shifts collide. Two units beat one big one if your crews are working a mile apart, if you need a second wash point near the laundry, or if the site has only one approach and the pump truck cannot reach the far end. Scaling is a layout question first. We will walk the site with you on the phone and draw it out.

How fast can you get a unit to a storm site in Harrah or Choctaw after a tornado?

East metro deliveries run in hours, not days, when we have the call and a gate we can get through. After the November 2024 tornadoes the hard part was access, not distance. We bring our own water and power so a neighborhood with cut mains is still workable. Emergency dispatch runs around the clock.

Do the units hold up through an Oklahoma ice storm week?

They do, with the right prep. We heat and insulate the lines, keep water moving, and drain what needs to be drained between service visits. After the October 2020 storm some homes were dark for 11 days, and the line crews working that restoration needed showers the whole time. We plan winter jobs around the freeze, not around the forecast.

Can exhibitors at the fairgrounds rent showers for a full three week horse show?

Yes, and that is a normal booking for us in late October and November. The AQHA World Show runs almost three weeks and the RV hookups fill up fast, so private shower rooms near the barns fill a real gap. We service before the first class of the day. Book early, because the fairgrounds calendar stacks events back to back.

The trailer these Oklahoma City guides are written around

We rent restroom, laundry and freezer trailers too, and plenty of jobs in this metro end up needing more than one of them.

How to size shower trailer rentals for an Oklahoma City crew, shift by shift

Head count is the first number everybody gives us, and it is the least useful one. A 60 man crew spread over three shifts is not the same job as 60 men who all clock out at one in the afternoon in July. What we need is the peak window. How many people want a shower inside the same hour?

Start with turn time. A work shower runs 10 to 12 minutes door to door once you count getting out of boots and back into clean clothes. So one private room clears about five people an hour without anybody feeling rushed. Eight rooms clears about 40 an hour. Two hours of peak at eight rooms covers roughly 80 people and no line forms.

What to ask before you rent a portable shower trailer in the Oklahoma City metro

Most bad shower rentals are not equipment failures. They are questions nobody asked in the first phone call. Here is the list we wish every site manager in this metro had in front of them.

Ask who owns the trailer. Plenty of companies broker equipment they have never seen, which is how a unit shows up with a dead water heater and a phone number that goes to voicemail. We own over 250 units and we dispatch our own drivers, so when something needs attention the fix is ours to make.

Month by month: when to rent temporary shower trailers in central Oklahoma

Demand for shower units in this metro is not flat, and it does not track the national pattern. If you know the calendar you can book the right unit instead of whatever is left.

January and February belong to fire and ice. Oklahoma logged 31 wildfires in mid January 2026 during red flag conditions, and by February 18 the state was tracking 33 fires and hotspots across 23 counties with a state of emergency in place. Forestry crews preposition at Shawnee, Stillwater and Weatherford when the wind turns. Ice is the other half of winter, and a bad event pulls line crews in from several states. Book early in this window or take what is available.

Planning a shower day: mobile shower units for Oklahoma City outreach programs

A shower day sounds simple until you run one. The equipment is the easy part. Flow, privacy and timing are what decide whether 30 people get through or 120 do.

Start with the real numbers in this city. The Homeless Alliance day shelter offers meals, showers and a place to rest, and it averages about 300 guests a day in a building originally designed for 150. It peaked at 576 guests in a single day in January 2024. Its winter shelter runs 300 adult beds from November 1 through March 31. That is a bathroom bottleneck, not a policy gap, and mobile units are the fastest way to add capacity without a construction budget.
