Private 8-station shower trailer rental parked in North Las Vegas, NV

The Lavatory is the go to team for shower trailer rentals in North Las Vegas, and every unit lands stocked, hot and ready the same day it is set. We own the fleet and we stage units close by, so our own driver levels the trailer, tests the water and walks the site before he pulls out. Apex pads with nothing plumbed, contractor work along the Nellis corridor, the downtown rebuild at Lake Mead Boulevard and city weekends at Craig Ranch all get the same setup. Why choose The Lavatory

Why The Lavatory leads North Las Vegas for hot-water shower trailer rentals

The trailer that shows up is ours. So is the truck, and so is the driver. We are not a broker, so your job never gets handed to somebody else to cover. We own more than 250 units, we run the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S., we are licensed and insured, and we have spent 8 years staging private shower trailer rentals for job sites in this part of the valley on top of 30 years in event and equipment rental. Most of the ground we serve here sits ahead of the utility grid, which is exactly the work our units were built for. Call us or ask for a quote and you are talking to the company that owns the unit, not a middleman with a phone. Call now or request a free quote for North Las Vegas and we will schedule a trailer that fits your site.

One company, start to finish

We own the units, the trucks and the service staff. That means one number for the delivery, the swap, the pump and the pickup. Nothing about your job goes out to somebody else’s driver.

Water planned before the trailer

On ground with no tap, the fill plan sets the ceiling on everything else. We work out the fill point, the round trip and the refill cadence first, then pick the unit. That order is backwards at most rental companies.

Private locking rooms

Every room locks and every room has its own hot and cold controls. Mixed crews use a unit like that. They will not line up at an open stall bank, and a shower nobody uses is just a trailer taking up pad space.

We plan the fill point before we plan the route

Apex and Garnet Valley will not have city water or sewer until 2028, so a delivery out there is really a water logistics problem wearing a trailer. We confirm your fill source, the haul distance and the pump schedule before a truck leaves the yard. That is why our units are not the ones sitting dry on a Friday afternoon. “We had 140 people on a pad with no water line for miles. They built the haul schedule around our pump visit so it was one truck instead of two, and the water was hot at 4 a.m. every morning. That is the part I did not expect.”

“The alley behind our site is not friendly to anything long. Their driver walked it first and put the combo exactly where it fit.”

Nothing fancy

Proof from the outreach programs we have served with portable shower trailers in North Las Vegas

The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders. Venues 105 miles northeast of North Las Vegas are covered on our St. George page.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp. A fire agency near North Las Vegas once called on a Thursday because the unit another company promised for a weekend base camp fell through, and we had a fully stocked trailer set and heated with hours to spare. A production running a long shoot outside town needed showers that held up day after day for cast and crew, and the same trailer stayed spotless through the whole schedule because our team serviced it. That standard travels to every North Las Vegas booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground. The rest of the state is on the list of Nevada cities we serve.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Portable shower trailers for Apex pads with no water or sewer yet

Out here the 8-Station does most of the work, because a fenced industrial pad usually has one generator, one gate and no room to shuffle three small trailers around. When a site is tight or a crew is under 30 we send a combo instead and keep the laundry room in play.

A private shower trailer set on a graded rock pad at a large desert industrial construction site, freeway and distant mountains behind it, workers in hi-vis walking toward it at end of shift

Apex Industrial Park is the biggest thing happening in this city and the hardest place in the valley to get a worker clean. There are about 30 million square feet under construction or permitted out there and more than 30 businesses already running. The Garnet Valley water and wastewater system that will finally serve it is a 15 mile transmission main, a 20 million gallon a day pump station, a 5 million gallon reservoir and more than 14 miles of sewer with three lift stations. It is not expected to be available until 2028.

So every crew building those buildings is working on ground with no tap and no cleanout. Apex Ridge Logistics Park went in at about 1.36 million square feet across two buildings, with part of the site blasted out of a mountain to make a pad. CapRock took 85 acres for a project near 1.48 million square feet. Prologis holds 879 acres. Switch assembled more than 300 acres across two closings, the second one in March 2026. Those are big peak crews on raw rock.

Standard on every shower unit we send

Private rooms with a lockable door

Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.

Hot and cold water controls

A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.

Air conditioning and heat

Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.

One-piece gel-coated fiberglass

Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.

Runs with or without hookups

Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.

Serviced, stocked and pumped

We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.

We plan water first out there, not last. A 200 gallon fresh tank moves about 13 showers before it needs a refill, so on an Apex pad the real question is where the fill point is and how long the round trip takes. Waste goes to the holding tank and gets pulled by a permitted hauler on a schedule we set with your superintendent. Power comes off your generator or your temporary pole, and we size the unit to what that circuit can actually carry. Ask for a quote with the pad location and we will tell you the water plan before we talk about anything else.

Wind is the other thing nobody warns you about at Garnet Valley. There is nothing up there to break it, and spring fronts push dust across US 93 hard enough that crews finish the day coated. That dust is the reason a rinse before the drive home is not a comfort item on this job. It is why the truck seats stay clean and why the drive back down I-15 is a safer one.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your North Las Vegas head count.

Every configuration lives on the shower trailer service page. Here is how we match one to a Nevada site.

In short

Sizing portable shower trailers to a North Las Vegas head count

Five shower units cover everything from a single ADA-compliant room to a camp that showers two hundred people a day. Every one has hot water, private rooms and climate control. Tell us the head count, how long the job runs and what the site has for water and power, and we will size it.

Eight completely private shower rooms in a 29-foot box, built for crews, camps and relief sites of up to about 200 people a day. Hot and cold controls, 200-gallon fresh and 950-gallon waste tanks, an exterior four-sink hand wash bank under the roof line, and it can tie into on-site septic for long deployments. One fully accessible room: ADA china toilet with grab bars, roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, ADA-height sink and vanity, and a ramp that deploys in minutes. It pairs with any other unit so every person on site is covered.

Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.

We serve crews, camps and productions with shower trailer rentals throughout Nevada, sized to the head count.

Crew shower trailers for Nellis corridor and VA campus contractors

A hot-water shower trailer staged at a federal jobsite near an air base perimeter fence at dusk, work trucks parked in a row, desert mountains in the distance

The Nellis complex sits on this city’s east flank and it is not small. Almost 22,000 personnel across the base, Creech at Indian Springs, the Las Vegas Air Force Station and the Nevada Test and Training Range, with about 1,200 temporary duty people arriving at Nellis every day. Red Flag 26-1 ran February 2 to 14, 2026 with roughly 3,000 participants from about 32 units, including Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force crews. The range itself covers 2.9 million acres of ground.

Work in that world moves on paperwork and badges. We are SAM.gov registered, licensed and insured, and we schedule federal deliveries around escort windows instead of guessing at a gate. Our drivers know that a base delivery is a booked appointment and that showing up early is as much of a problem as showing up late. We also carry accessible ADA shower trailer rentals for sites that have to account for every worker, with the ramp built into the unit so nobody is building a wood one at 6 in the morning.

The North Las Vegas VA Medical Center is the only full VA hospital in Southern Nevada and it stays under construction somewhere on the campus almost constantly. VA put a record amount into its Non-recurring Maintenance program for fiscal 2026 to repair and upgrade aging building systems, and a share of that lands here. Contractors working inside an operating hospital campus cannot walk dust through a lobby, and they cannot park a crew trailer wherever there is room. Placement gets worked out with facilities before the truck is loaded.

Then there is the range country north of town. Both of 2026’s big fires in that corner, Mouse Meadow at 51,408 acres and Quail Springs at 13,611 acres, burned inside the Nevada Test and Training Range and were not contained until September 4. Camps for work like that get staged off the nearest road with fuel and access, and I-15 north out of this city is the corridor that feeds them. Our dispatch runs 24/7 for exactly that reason.

Who handles it

The service behind every one of our crew shower trailers in North Las Vegas

Shower trailer serviced mid-deployment outside North Las Vegas

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.

On longer or higher-traffic bookings in North Las Vegas, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.

No surprises

Site planning for self-contained shower units in North Las Vegas, done right

North Las Vegas runs its own water and sewer utility, which catches people who assume the county handles it. The Utilities Department at 2250 North Las Vegas Boulevard includes its own Water Reclamation Facility, which uses submerged membrane bioreactor treatment to produce reclaimable water. New water and sewer work inside city limits follows the Uniform Design and Construction Standards for Potable Water Systems, UDACS-2025, and the Design and Construction Standards for Wastewater Collection Systems, DCSWCS-2019. Municipal Code Title 13, Chapter 13.24 covers the wastewater collection system, and the city’s industrial wastewater pretreatment program governs what non-domestic flow may enter a city sewer. If your site wants a sewer tie-in on a long job instead of a holding tank, that conversation starts with the city.

Waste is the part that separates a real rental company from a guy with a trailer. A shower unit’s waste is sewage in a holding tank, and in Clark County the Southern Nevada Health District regulates liquid waste haulers, defined as anyone removing and disposing of the contents of septic tanks, holding tanks, grease interceptors, non-sewered toilets or other sewage disposal units. The health district also permits septic and onsite systems and reviews temporary event facilities alongside special event plan review. Ask any company you are considering who pumps their tanks and where it goes. We can answer that in one sentence, with a name.

Then there is heat, and Nevada finally wrote it down. Regulation R131-24, codified into NAC Chapter 618, requires employers who must keep a written safety program, meaning more than 10 employees under NRS 618.383, to address heat illness in that program and run a job hazard analysis. The required provisions cover potable water, rest breaks, cooling measures, emergency medical response, training, and reducing work processes that add heat. Enforcement began April 29, 2025, and state guidance was updated May 21, 2026. A clean, air conditioned place to rinse off and change is not named in the rule. But it is one of the easiest pieces of a heat plan to actually deliver, and inspectors notice when a site has thought it through. Our units also meet federal ADA requirements on the accessible builds, which covers the other question that comes up on public work.

Hot-water shower trailer staged outside North Las Vegas

What we cover on ADA and placement

  • ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.

This city has an industrial park with no plumbing, an Air Force complex on its east flank, and a downtown getting rebuilt at the same time. Our units move between those three worlds week to week, and the plan for each one looks nothing like the others.

Desert location shoots off the Apex road in North Las Vegas

Desert location shoots off the Apex road

Nevada production is mostly location work, since the state still has no soundstage at real scale. Open ground northeast of the city is what crews use, and none of it has facilities. We deliver a mobile shower and restroom combo on a production schedule and pull it when the last truck rolls.

What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to a North Las Vegas site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

What holds up

The arithmetic behind renting a self-contained shower unit in North Las Vegas

8-station shower unit on the north Las Vegas Valley site

Think about what a North Las Vegas deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.

A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.

Working knowledge

First call to final pickup for a crew shower trailer in North Las Vegas

Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the site

Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.

2

We match the trailer and the hookups

We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.

4

Use it, we handle service and pickup

The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Private shower trailers for warehouse, data center and downtown build crews

A deluxe shower trailer parked beside a large tilt-up warehouse under construction, steel and concrete panels going up, crane and hi-vis crew in frame

This is the valley’s distribution engine and the numbers say so. In the second quarter of 2026 the North Las Vegas submarket accounted for nearly three quarters of the entire valley’s industrial net absorption. Amazon runs an 855,000 square foot fulfillment building here with more than 1,500 people in it. Smith’s moved in with an 885,000 square foot distribution center. Sephora took roughly 714,000 square feet. Haas Automation holds about 2.2 million square feet of manufacturing and CODA about 1.2 million square feet of data center.

Data center shells are a different animal from a warehouse box. Bigger electrical and mechanical crews, longer schedules, tighter security, and a general contractor who would much rather keep 200 tradespeople on site than watch them drive off to find a place to clean up. Those jobs run through summer by definition, which means a deluxe shower trailer has to hold hot and cold water while the sun cooks the roof all afternoon. Ours have air conditioning and heat in every unit, not just a vent.

Downtown is the other build. Nevada State University broke ground April 28, 2026 on a three story, 30,000 square foot academic building at 800 E. Lake Mead Blvd., anchoring the 19 acre NLV Gateway development, with doors planned for fall 2027. Add the Dolores Huerta Resource Center and the Hylo Park work and you have crews operating inside an old street grid with narrow alleys, overhead lines and parked cars. A 35 foot rig does not fit everywhere down there. So we scout the drop before delivery day.

One more thing that surprises people. Summer asphalt in the older neighborhoods gets soft enough by July that a loaded trailer will leave marks on a thin residential street. We plate the jacks when it matters. Nobody wants a call from a property manager about dents in their drive lane.

Plan around it

Three North Las Vegas deployments of private shower trailers and how they went

Lavatory unit between deployments outside North Las Vegas

Safety manager, Apex logistics build

He had 140 people on a rock pad with no tap within miles and a heat plan he had to be able to show. We set an 8-Station on blocks Tuesday morning, ran it off the site generator, and built a water haul on a two-day cadence with the pump visit tied to the same trip. It held there for eleven months.

Project manager, VA campus infrastructure work

Facilities would not allow a crew trailer anywhere near the main entrance, which is fair. We walked the campus with them, found a service drive nobody was using, and put a shower and restroom combo there with a 5 a.m. service window so no visitor ever saw the truck.

Event production lead, Craig Ranch weekend

Load-in started Thursday for a Saturday show and the build crew was the group nobody had planned facilities for. We dropped a combo unit behind the stage Wednesday night and added an accessible unit when the vendor list grew. Both came out Sunday before the park reopened.

Neighborhood by neighborhood delivery for temporary shower facilities

Shower trailer delivery range from North Las Vegas to Las Vegas

We cover this city and the whole north end of the valley from staged units, and we go further when a job calls for it. Our shower trailer rentals across Nevada run from Apex and the Garnet Valley pads down through the valley core and out along US 93, and our service area reaches every state for long term and emergency work. Give us the cross streets or the site coordinates and we will give you the delivery window.

We cover North Las Vegas shower trailer rentals across Nevada. Towns and job corridors we serve include Apex, Garnet Valley, Aliante, Sun City Aliante, Tule Springs, Valley Vista, Eldorado, Craig Ranch, Cheyenne corridor, Losee Road corridor, North 5th Street, Carey Avenue, Lake Mead Boulevard, Civic Center Drive, Centennial Parkway, Ann Road, Speedway Boulevard, Nellis corridor, Sunrise Manor, Las Vegas, Henderson, Whitney, Logandale, Indian Springs.

Eldorado and the Losee Road corridor, Nevada

Eldorado and the Losee Road corridor

Losee is the city’s industrial spine: warehouses, contractor yards and truck terminals, with established housing on the Eldorado side. Tenant improvement crews work inside occupied buildings here, so the unit has to sit small and out of the traffic lane. A 2-Station combo usually fits.

Valley Vista and Tule Springs, Nevada

Valley Vista and Tule Springs

The far northwest is still filling in next to the fossil beds national monument. Subdivision crews stay on one pad for months at a time and the nearest permanent facilities are a long drive. Long-term holds out here are normal for us, not an exception.

Sun City Aliante, Nevada

Sun City Aliante

An active adult community inside the larger Aliante plan, with a golf course, lakes and about 45 acres of parks. Work here means clubhouse and common-area projects where residents are watching every day. Quiet placement and a clean-looking unit matter as much as the water.

North 5th Street corridor, Nevada

North 5th Street corridor

The long north-south spine into the downtown core, studied for years as a transit route and lined with commercial and light industrial parcels. Utility and roadway crews trench here in stages. We move a mobile shower unit down the corridor with the work instead of making people walk back to it.

Speedway Boulevard corridor, Nevada

Speedway Boulevard corridor

The freeway edge north of Craig Road, with hotels, support businesses and the interchange work NDOT has been running. I-15 through this stretch carries about 41,600 vehicles a day and traffic is projected up 71 percent by 2033. Deliveries get timed against that, not against a wish.

Carey Avenue and the older east side, Nevada

Carey Avenue and the older east side

Older grid, smaller lots, mature trees and overhead lines. Rehab and utility work dominates and a 35 foot rig simply does not fit on some of these streets. We send the smaller combos here and scout the turn before the truck is loaded.

Planned rentals are usually scheduled the same week, and we do our best to cover last-minute North Las Vegas dates when a trailer is nearby.

What productions ask about multi-station shower trailers in North Las Vegas

Shower trailer on a warehouse, data center, downtown job, the north Las Vegas Valley
Can you run showers out at Apex where there is no water or sewer connection yet?

Yes, and that is most of what we do out there. The Garnet Valley water and wastewater system is not expected to be available until 2028, so every unit at Apex runs self-contained. We bring fresh water in, the waste goes to the holding tank, and a permitted hauler pulls it on a set schedule. The only thing we need from you is a level spot and a power source.

How do you get fresh water to a site out in Garnet Valley?

Either a water truck on a cadence we set with you, or a temporary construction meter if your site already has one permitted. The 8-Station holds 200 gallons of fresh water, which is roughly 13 showers at a metered 1.5 GPM head and a normal turn. So on a big crew the refill trip is the real schedule, and we build it before we commit to a delivery date.

Who is allowed to pump the waste tank in Clark County?

A permitted liquid waste hauler. The Southern Nevada Health District regulates anyone removing and disposing of the contents of holding tanks, septic tanks and other sewage disposal units, and it controls where that material can go. We handle it as part of the rental, and we can tell you who does the pumping and where it is disposed. If a company cannot answer that, keep looking.

How many stations do I need for a 120 person crew that all walks off at once?

Plan on about 15, which is two 8-Station units. One private room moves roughly 6 people an hour at an 8 to 10 minute turn, so eight rooms clear about 48 an hour. A crew that releases all at once inside 45 minutes needs far more capacity than the same 120 people coming off over two hours. Tell us when the shift breaks and we will do the math with you.

Does the water stay hot when it has been 110 all day and the tank has been sitting in the sun?

Yes. The tank water starts warm, which actually helps, and the heater keeps recovery ahead of demand through a peak. Where cheap equipment fails is around minute 50 of a heavy run, when recovery falls behind and the last few people get cold water. Ours are sized so that does not happen, and every unit has air conditioning so the room is not 100 degrees while somebody is in it.

Will lines freeze on a January night up here?

They can, on an unheated unit. This city has a record low of 10 degrees and it drops below freezing for stretches in December and January. Every unit we own has heat and a smart thermostat, and freeze management on the supply lines and the waste valve is part of the service visit through winter. On a long hold we will also walk the setup with your crew so somebody on site knows what to watch.

Do you have an accessible unit, and does it come with its own ramp?

Two of them, and yes. The ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer has two standard private rooms plus one accessible room with a self-contained ramp, and it meets federal ADA requirements. The Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo covers one accessible room with a china toilet, grab bars and a roll-in shower with a seat and wand. On public and federal work we usually pair one of those with a larger unit.

Can we add a laundry room for a crew that is out here for months?

That is the 4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo. Four private bathrooms, each with a toilet, a sink and a shower, plus a washer and dryer in a separate room. It fits crews up to about 30. On long industrial holds it is the unit people ask for a second time once they have had it, because the work clothes stop riding home in the truck.

Are you set up for federal work at the base or the VA campus?

Yes. We are SAM.gov registered, licensed and insured, and we can provide insurance certificates and driver information for gate lists ahead of time. Base and hospital campus deliveries get scheduled against escort and access windows, not guessed at. We would rather spend twenty minutes on the access plan than have a truck sitting at a gate.

How fast can you get a unit out for an emergency or a fire camp?

Our dispatch runs 24 hours a day, every day, and we stage units close to this market. Both of 2026’s large fires in this corner burned inside the Nevada Test and Training Range and neither was contained until September 4, so we know what that country asks for. The 8-Station is CAL FIRE approved, which matters when an incident team is signing off on a camp.

We rent more than showers, so if your site also needs restrooms, laundry or cold storage, here is the rest of what we stage nearby.

Running crew showers on a site with no water or sewer connection

Most of the industrial ground on this side of the valley is being built ahead of its own plumbing. Apex is the extreme version. Roughly 30 million square feet is under construction or permitted out there, and the water and wastewater system that will serve it, a 15 mile transmission main with a 20 million gallon a day pump station, a 5 million gallon reservoir and more than 14 miles of sewer, is not expected to be available until 2028.

So the first question on a dry site is never which unit. It is where the water comes from. You have two realistic options. A water truck on a cadence, or a temporary construction meter if your site already carries one. Everything else in the plan hangs off that answer, including how big a unit makes sense.

Two-shift schedules and what they do to your shower station count

Head count is the number everybody leads with and it is the least useful one in the conversation. What actually sizes a unit is how many of those people want hot water inside the same half hour.

Think about two jobs with identical rosters. One is a pour crew of 120 that starts at 3 a.m. in July and walks off together at noon. The other is a warehouse fit-out with 120 people across trades who trickle out from early afternoon to dark. The first job needs roughly 15 stations. The second is comfortable on four. Same roster, four times the equipment.

What a federal or agency shower trailer rental takes before the truck rolls

Federal and agency work in this city is not a side market. The Nellis complex alone accounts for almost 22,000 personnel, with about 1,200 temporary duty people coming through the base every day, and the range behind it covers 2.9 million acres. Add the VA medical center campus, state corrections facilities, city projects and NDOT work on I-15 and US 93 and a very large share of the local construction dollar is public money.

That work comes with paperwork, and the paperwork has to exist before anybody talks about a delivery date. Registration in SAM.gov is the baseline for federal contracting. Certificates of insurance naming the right parties come next. On public works you are also in prevailing wage territory, which affects your own labor more than it affects a rental, but it tells you what kind of documentation the job expects.

Heat and cold planning for a shower trailer across a north valley year

This city sees a record range of 10 degrees to 119 degrees and averages 4.58 inches of rain a year. That is a wide envelope for a box full of water lines, and the two ends of it fail in completely different ways.

Start with summer, because that is the longer problem. Summer 2026 averaged 94.7 degrees across the valley, the second warmest on record, with a peak of 112 on the hottest day. March that year set records too, which pushed the early-start schedule forward by weeks. Crews respond by starting at 3 or 4 in the morning, and that is the real effect on a rental: demand stops being spread out and becomes a spike.

A site prep checklist for delivery day in North Las Vegas

Almost every bad delivery we have seen here traces back to something that could have been settled in a five minute phone call. This is the list we walk through with a new customer, in the order it actually matters.

Access first. How does a truck pulling a 35 foot rig get in, turn around and get back out? In the older grid near Carey Avenue and the east side, the answer is sometimes that it cannot, and the right move is a smaller combo unit rather than a heroic three point turn between parked cars. Out at Apex the answer is usually easy, but the haul road may be shared with dump traffic and you want the drop timed around that.
