Why choose The Lavatory

The Southern Utah benchmark for restroom trailer rentals

The truck that backs up to your reception lawn in Bloomington belongs to The Lavatory, and so does the person driving it. We never hand a St George order to a broker or a load board. We own all of our more than 250 units, the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S., and the same company that quotes your job is the one that levels the trailer, stocks it and hauls it home. Fortune 500 names like Google and Tesla, along with Caesars Palace and the Las Vegas Raiders, have put their guests in these trailers. We are licensed and insured, SAM.gov registered and A+ BBB rated, with five-star Google reviews. Crews that also need mobile shower trailers in St George get them from the same yard and the same dispatcher. Call us now or request a quote, and we will confirm your date on the first call.

Delivery timed to your site

We plan delivery around ceremony times, call times and pour schedules. A wedding trailer is cool and stocked before the planner arrives, and a jobsite unit lands before the first shift.

Rooms guests actually like

Our trailers have flushing china toilets, running water and real mirrors. Guests come out talking about them, which nobody says about a plastic unit.

Accessible rooms on request

Our ADA + 2 and ADA + 6 trailers have built-in ramps and an accessible room. In a county that hosts the Huntsman World Senior Games, we plan for older guests on almost every event.

Canyon and lava-rock access planning

Pine Valley is up a canyon road, Snow Canyon lots sit between lava rock, and parts of Santa Clara have narrow streets. We check photos of the access route first and pick the trailer that can actually reach your site.

“Over the last few years we have leaned on this crew for overflow restrooms at a handful of our events, and the trailers always arrive spotless. When our own wedding came around under the red cliffs, we booked them without a second thought. Half our guests asked where we found such nice restrooms.”

“The reception for our son was on the grass behind our house in Little Valley during a July heat wave. That restroom trailer held its cool past midnight, and my aunt swore it was nicer than her own bathroom at home. We rate them a full ten.”

“Restrooms were the one thing I dreaded planning for our open house in St George. Once the crew leveled the trailer by the patio, that worry was gone for good, and every call to the office got a friendly answer.”

Daily reality

Who books our portable restroom trailers when it has to work

The companies that could rent anything still call us for restrooms, because a cheap plastic unit at a launch party or a shareholder event ruins everything the day is meant to say. The Lavatory has provided luxury restrooms for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A luxury restroom is the one vendor a guest uses and remembers, for better or worse, so the trailer has to be stocked, clean and working from the first guest to the last. That is how we run every unit in the fleet, and it is the same standard behind every St George booking, from a backyard engagement party to a festival gate.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury restroom trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Executive restroom trailers for St George construction jobs and site offices

For a St George reception in July, we usually pair a 5-Station with an ADA + 2 and park both in shade where we can, because the AC works far less hard out of direct sun.

A Lavatory 5-Station restroom trailer set on blocks on open sagebrush ground, with stairs at the men's and women's doors

Washington County keeps a long list of road and building work open at once. UDOT’s plan to add a third I-15 lane between the Bluff Street and St. George Boulevard exits is still in design while the funding gets sorted out. The Bluff Street rebuild, the George Washington Boulevard Bridge and the work tied to the Exit 5 interchange carry crews through 2027 and into 2028. Owners, inspectors and engineers spend months in job trailers on those sites, and they would rather not share the crew’s plastic toilets for the length of the project.

A private restroom trailer next to the site office solves that. We set an ADA + 2 or a 3-Station beside the office, tie it to site power and put it on a standing service day. The crew bank stays where it is. Your client walk-throughs and city inspections happen next to a clean room with a real sink and AC that keeps up in July.

Private builds keep us busy too, since the new computing and engineering building at Utah Tech University, the surgical tower at St. George Regional Hospital and the new phases at Desert Color all bring long schedules and visitors in good shoes. Out at Fort Pierce Industrial Park, plant and warehouse projects come with tight dust and traffic rules, so we plan the delivery path before the truck rolls.

After years of placing units on Washington County dirt, the first thing we check is the ground. Lots here are graded to drain hard, and red clay turns slick after a monsoon storm. We bring blocks, level the frame so the doors seal, and set the stairs on firm footing. On a long job we schedule pumping around the site’s work hours, so a service truck never blocks a concrete pour.

Suite by suite: what a trailer gives you

Flushing china toilets

Real porcelain toilets with a foot flush, the same fixtures your guests use at home, not a chemical tank.

Running-water sinks

Stainless steel sinks with real running water, hand soap, and towels, fed by onboard water tanks so you are covered even without a hookup.

Climate control

Air conditioning for a summer afternoon and heat for a cold evening, so the trailer stays comfortable no matter the season.

Framed mirrors and lighting

Oversized framed vanity mirrors, warm interior lighting, and finished flooring that reads like a venue restroom, not a jobsite.

Fully stocked, always fresh

Premium toilet paper, towels, soap, and fragrance, restocked and pumped so the unit stays fresh from the first guest to the last.

Power and water handled

Onboard water tanks plus a generator when your site has no hookup, so the trailer runs anywhere from a vineyard to an open field.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 5-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your St George guest count.

The full restroom trailer fleet is one page over; below is how we size a unit to a Utah guest count.

VIP restroom trailers for film, TV and commercial shoots in Greater Zion

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer at the curb in front of a large white house, with a generator and propane tanks beside it

St George and Greater Zion are Film Ready Utah communities. The Greater Zion Film Office on Tabernacle Street helps productions sort out who issues permits where, from city streets to Zion National Park. Territory Film Studios is building soundstages near St. George Regional Airport, which brings more crews to town each year.

A soundstage has plumbing. The red rock exteriors do not. Units shooting in Snow Canyon, Warner Valley, Sand Hollow or along the Virgin River set up basecamp on dirt, often before sunrise. We deliver the day before when the permit allows, level the trailer and have the lights and AC running before the first call time.

Most productions want two kinds of restrooms, so talent and clients get a VIP unit near the cast trailers and the video village. The crew gets a larger unit closer to set. A 2-Station or 3-Station handles the talent side, and a 5-Station covers a crew of 60 or more over a long day, with a mid-day restock if the shoot runs past 12 hours.

Commercial spots move fast, and a car shoot on a canyon road or a one-day spot on the Sand Hollow dunes might hold a location for six hours. We work to the production’s location schedule, not ours, and we pull the trailer as soon as the company moves. Bring us your call sheet and the location map, and we will tell you which spots a truck and trailer can actually reach.

Other temporary bathroom rentals we handle across Washington County

Three kinds of work fill most of our Washington County calendar. Contractors want a clean executive restroom beside the site office on jobs that last a year or two. Couples hold receptions on ranches, golf lawns and big backyards. Film and commercial crews shoot on red dirt, far from any building.

A Lavatory restroom trailer tucked behind trees next to a lawn set with long farm tables and wood chairs, mountains behind

Marathon finish and race villages

The St. George Marathon finishes at Vernon Worthen Park every October, and the city’s race calendar runs all year. We put deluxe trailers in sponsor tents and VIP areas where a bank of plastic units would look out of place.

A Lavatory 3-Station restroom trailer parked on a paved path beside a golf putting green below a dry hillside

Huntsman World Senior Games venues

More than 11,000 athletes aged 50 and up compete across the county each October. Ramps and accessible rooms matter here, so we lead with the ADA + 2 and spread units across venues.

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events

Tuacahn and Kayenta event nights

Private buyouts, side events and art weekends in Ivins draw crowds to spots with few indoor restrooms. A deluxe trailer near the parking area keeps the lines short.

A Lavatory 3-Station restroom trailer parked on a paved path beside a golf putting green below a dry hillside

Water main breaks and power outages

When a pipe fails or the power drops, a business or a church can lose its restrooms in an hour. Our 24/7 dispatch gets a trailer rolling, and we bring a generator when the grid is the problem.

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events

Restaurant and church remodels

Kitchen rebuilds and restroom remodels along St. George Boulevard and in Bloomington close the indoor rooms for weeks. We place a compact trailer by the back door and service it on your schedule.

What ties these together is the guest experience. Nobody remembers a restroom that worked, but everybody remembers one that did not. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple counties away, getting a luxury trailer to a St George date, even a last-minute one, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Straight answers

What happens after restroom trailers land on a St George site

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator, and stocks it before your first guest arrives. When the event wraps, we come back and haul it away. You never touch the logistics. That part is on us.

For longer or higher-traffic bookings in St George, we offer an on-site attendant who keeps the trailer stocked and spotless through the event, and we pump and refresh the unit so it holds up from the first guest to the last. That always-fresh standard is the difference between a restroom guests use once and one they are glad to use all night.

Luxury bathroom trailer rentals for red rock weddings, ranches and backyards around St George

A Lavatory restroom trailer tucked behind trees next to a lawn set with long farm tables and wood chairs, mountains behind

Weddings are the biggest reason people call us for upscale restrooms, and the St George area gives couples more outdoor choices than most places we work. The Ledges sits under the red cliffs of Snow Canyon. Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club has an event lawn with a red rock backdrop. Out in Ivins, Red Mountain Resort and Kayenta Art Village host smaller weddings in desert-modern settings.

Ceremonies inside Snow Canyon State Park run small, about 50 guests under a state park special use permit, and the ceremony spots have no plumbing at all. Most couples bring the mobile restroom trailer to the reception site instead. For a ranch reception in Toquerville or a big family lawn in Bloomington or Little Valley, we pick the unit by guest count and by how long the bar stays open.

Heat changes the plan here, because spring and fall carry the wedding calendar and most summer receptions move to the evening. We start the AC well before guests arrive, face the doors away from the setting sun when we can, and light the steps so nobody misses a stair after dark. A 2-Station fits most backyards on one 20 amp outlet, while a 5-Station covers the bigger receptions.

Farm and orchard settings around Hurricane, ranch venues in Rockville near Zion, and private cabins up in Pine Valley all get the same crew and the same deluxe trailers. Tell us where the caterer parks and where the dance floor goes. We will put the trailer close enough to be easy and far enough to stay out of your photos. Call us or request a quote with your date and guest count, and we will hold the right trailer for you.

How it works

Site planning and ADA access for portable restroom trailers in St George

A private bathroom trailer on your own lot for a party usually needs no city permit. Public events change that. The City of St. George handles special event permits through Community Development, and its checklist sends food and sanitation questions to the Southwest Utah Public Health Department. Hurricane’s event permit asks for a site plan that shows where portable toilets, tents and fencing go.

Size matters to the state, and Utah treats a gathering of 1,000 or more people for two hours or more a day as a temporary mass gathering, and the health district expects toilets and handwashing as part of the permit. Permits cover only the event and dates listed, so a rain date needs its own clearance. We put unit counts and placement on paper so you can attach them to the application.

Job sites follow federal sanitation rules under 29 CFR 1926.51, which Utah enforces through its own state plan. Toilets scale to crew size, and washing stations go with them. State parks set their own terms too, and a wedding in Snow Canyon State Park needs a special use permit and stays small. Tell us the venue early, and we will help you sort out which rules apply. Call our 24/7 line or request a quote, and an award-winning team with 30+ years in event and equipment rental will plan the setup with you.

The ADA + 6 Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events

The ADA and siting details we take care of

  • ADA-accessible units with a self-contained ramp, wide door, grab bars, and turning room.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach and easy to service.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator staged when the site has no hookup.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some venues and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, and event restrooms. Tell us your venue and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the venue or the city as well.

Why site contractors budget for a luxury restroom trailer first in St George

The 8-Station Private Stall Deluxe Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events

Think about what a St George event actually costs to put on. The venue, the catering, the flowers, the photographer, the hours of planning. Then picture a guest walking out of a hot plastic box in the middle of all of it. Nobody plans for that. The restroom is the one vendor every single guest uses, often more than once, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole event by.

A luxury restroom trailer protects everything else you spent on. It reads like an extension of the venue, holds up through a full day of guests, and gives people one less thing to remember for the wrong reason. Set against the total cost of the day, it is a small line item that quietly carries a lot of the impression, which is exactly why the hosts who have been burned once book the trailer first the next time.

Between us

Planning notes for temporary restroom trailers at three kinds of St George events

The 3-Station Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events

Planning a fall reception on a golf club lawn near Snow Canyon

When a couple books a 250-guest reception on a club lawn, we place a 5-Station on the cart path side of the lawn, run the cord to the club’s outlet and start the AC two hours early. If the bar stays open late, we schedule a quiet restock while the toasts run.

Setting up an owner’s restroom beside a highway job office

When a contractor opens a field office for a long road job, we set an ADA + 2 next to the office steps, tie it to the office power and put it on a weekly service day. Pumping happens before the morning safety meeting, so the service truck is gone when the crew heads out.

Supporting a two-day commercial shoot near the Sand Hollow dunes

When a production holds a dune location for two days, we deliver the evening before, level the trailer on firm ground at the staging lot and leave it stocked for an early call. The truck comes back the moment the company wraps.

St George neighborhoods where we place private restroom trailers

A Lavatory restroom trailer tucked behind trees next to a lawn set with long farm tables and wood chairs, mountains behind

We deliver across St George and all of Washington County, from Santa Clara and Ivins on the west side to Hurricane, La Verkin and Springdale on the road to Zion. Cedar City, Mesquite and Kanab are regular runs too. St George is part of our Utah luxury restroom trailer rentals network, and the same fleet backs our Las Vegas restroom trailer rentals about two hours south on I-15. Send us an address and a date, and we will confirm a delivery window on the same call.

We cover St George luxury restroom trailer rentals across Utah. Neighborhoods and towns we serve include Bloomington, Bloomington Hills, Green Valley, Tonaquint, Dixie Downs, Little Valley, Washington Fields, Middleton, SunRiver, Desert Color, Entrada, Downtown St George, Washington, Santa Clara, Ivins, Hurricane, La Verkin, Toquerville, Leeds, Springdale, Pine Valley, Cedar City.

Planning an event beyond the city line? See our full restroom trailer coverage across Utah.

Bloomington and Bloomington Hills

Big lots, mature trees and the country club make this a favorite for backyard receptions. Long driveways help, and low branches do not, so we check clearance before the truck arrives.

Little Valley and Washington Fields

New homes on larger lots mean plenty of graduation parties, open houses and family reunions. Fresh landscaping is common, so we plan the path to keep tires off new sod.

Green Valley and Tonaquint

These established neighborhoods have slopes and tight cul-de-sacs. We often bring the compact 2-Station and set it in the driveway.

Downtown and St. George Boulevard

Restaurant remodels, church events and art festival weekends land here. Street placement needs a plan for parking and foot traffic, and we time service visits around business hours.

Desert Color and Desert Canyons

The newest master plans near the airport add builder events, model home openings and lagoon parties. Many lots are still under construction, so we confirm a firm pad before delivery.

Entrada, The Ledges and the Snow Canyon edge

Golf communities under the red cliffs host club weddings and private parties. Lava rock and tight lots make placement a careful job, which we plan from photos first.

Most St George rentals can be delivered the same day, and our dispatch line answers 24/7 for last-minute and emergency dates.

What production teams ask about bathroom trailers in St George

The 5-Station Restroom Trailer, available for St George-area events
Do you deliver and set up the trailer, and when do you pick it up in St George?

Yes. We deliver, level, connect and stock the trailer, usually the day before an event or early that morning. For weddings we arrive early enough to cool the rooms before guests show up. Pickup is normally the next day, and on a job site we pull the unit when your work wraps. We confirm both windows on the first call.

Will you keep a temporary restroom trailer on a St George job site for a year or more?

Yes. Long-term jobs get a standing service day, regular pumping and restocks, and a quote that lists every visit. Highway, hospital and campus jobs here often run 18 months to two years. We plan service around your work hours so our trucks stay out of the way.

Can you tell me how many stations I need for 300 wedding guests in St George?

For about 300 guests over five hours, a 5-Station usually does the job. If the bar is open all night or it is a hot July evening, we may add a 2-Station or an ADA + 2. Our 9-Station covers about 400 to 900 guests. Share the guest count, the hours and whether alcohol is served, and we will size it for you.

Is my backyard in Bloomington or Little Valley a good spot for a portable bathroom trailer?

Most backyards and driveways work. The trailer needs fairly level ground, a clear path for the truck and enough height under trees and wires. A 2-Station fits many driveways. Send a few photos of the spot and the access path, and we will tell you which unit fits and where it should sit.

Where does the cost of an upscale restroom trailer rental in St George come from?

The quote depends on the trailer size, how many days it stays, how far the site sits from our staging area and how often it needs service. A generator, a delivered water supply or an extra ADA unit adds to it. Weekday and long-term rentals often work out better per day. We list every item on the quote so nothing surprises you.

What months should I book a luxury bathroom trailer for a St George wedding?

Book as early as you can for March through May and September through early November. October is the tightest month, since the St. George Marathon and the Huntsman World Senior Games both land then. Six months ahead is safe for a fall Saturday. Short-notice dates still work more often than people expect, so call and ask.

When does a mobile bathroom trailer need a water hookup, and when can it work from its own tanks?

A one-day event usually works fine from the onboard tanks, and the 5-Station carries 200 gallons of fresh water. Long jobs and multi-day events do better with a hose hookup to a spigot, which cuts down on refills. Waste always goes to the holding tank, and we pump it on the schedule we set together.

How do permits, HOA rules and venue rules work for a trailer rental in St George?

Private parties at home rarely need a city permit, though some HOAs have rules about trailers in driveways. Public events need a city special event permit, with sanitation reviewed by the Southwest Utah Public Health Department. Many venues set their own placement rules. We give you a site plan and unit list you can hand to any of them.

Do you deliver VIP restroom trailers to Springdale and the ranch venues near Zion?

Yes. Springdale, Rockville and Virgin are regular runs for us. We plan around park traffic, deliver early in the day and check that the access road can take a truck and trailer. Some ranch roads need the smaller 2-Station or 3-Station.

How do your restroom trailers hold up on a 110 degree afternoon in St George?

Every unit has AC on a thermostat, and we start it early so the rooms are cool before guests arrive. We park in shade when we can and face the doors away from the sun. For big summer crowds, the two AC units on the 9-Station carry the load.

Will you bring an emergency bathroom trailer for a water main break or a power outage?

Yes. Our dispatch answers 24/7, and we can often roll the same day. If the power is out, we bring a generator too. The 2025 outage that left more than 40,000 people in the county without power showed how fast a building can lose working restrooms.

St George restroom trailer guides: sizing, timing, delivery and choosing a setup

A Lavatory 2-Station restroom trailer at the curb in front of a large white house, with a generator and propane tanks beside it

Deeper reading for hosts and planners, from sizing a trailer to your guest count to keeping guests comfortable through a long event. Tap any guide to open it.

Sizing a restroom trailer for a St George event in triple-digit heat

Most sizing charts assume a mild evening and a guest list that drinks water. A St George reception in late June is a different event. Guests drink more, the bar works harder, and people step inside the trailer partly to stand in the AC. All of that pushes more traffic through each room per hour, and it changes how we size the order.

Start with the guest count and the number of hours. Our 5-Station is rated for about 150 to 450 guests, and about 200 to 500 for a five-hour event. The 9-Station covers about 400 to 900 guests over five hours. Those ranges assume a normal mix of men and women and a normal bar. If you sit near the top of a range, plan as if you were in the next one up.

When to book a restroom trailer in St George: the October crunch and the rest of the year

Bookings for portable restrooms in Washington County follow the event calendar, and that calendar has two peaks. Spring weddings and races fill March through May. Fall weddings, festivals and the biggest sports weeks fill September through early November. Summer is quieter for weddings and busier for evening events.

October is the month to plan for first. The St. George Marathon is held on the first Saturday, on a course that drops from the Pine Valley Mountains into town. The Huntsman World Senior Games follow right after, with more than 11,000 athletes over two weeks at venues across the county. In 2026, Red Bull Rampage also returns to its original site near Virgin, and Art in Kayenta lands in the same stretch.

Delivering restroom trailers across Southern Utah: Zion, Hurricane, Cedar City and the canyon roads

Our St George delivery trucks cover far more than the city limits. Southern Utah stretches from the Arizona line to Cedar City and from the Nevada border to Kanab. Most of our longer runs head toward Zion, up I-15, or into the mountains west of town, and each direction has its own access issues. Further north, our crews handle deluxe bathroom trailers in Provo and Salt Lake City restroom trailer rentals, so a company with events at both ends of the state can book everything with one call.

The Zion corridor is the busiest. Springdale, Rockville and Virgin sit along State Route 9 east of Hurricane, and the park draws nearly 3 million visitors a year. Traffic peaks mid-morning and late afternoon. We schedule deliveries for early morning, and we check ranch and venue roads in advance, since some private drives near Rockville cannot take a long trailer.

Zion National Park, National Park Service

Restroom trailer or a row of porta potties? Choosing the right setup for a St George event or job

Plenty of St George events end up with both. A marathon finish area or a county fair needs a long row of plastic units for the general crowd, and nobody expects otherwise. What changes the experience is putting an upscale restroom trailer in the spots where guests linger, such as a VIP tent at a race or the reception lawn at a wedding, and beside the owner’s office on a long construction job.

A luxury restroom trailer gives guests a real flushing toilet and a sink with running water. It also has a mirror, lighting and AC. For a wedding, that is the standard most couples want. Guests in formal clothes do not want to walk into a hot plastic box on a July evening, and older guests appreciate stairs with rails and room to move.
