Why choose The Lavatory

The clear first choice for on-site shower trailer rentals in San Antonio

We own every unit we send out. Over 250 of them, and we have spent years staging hot-water showers for crews across San Antonio. What keeps us first here is the schedule we hold after the drop. Our team pumps the waste and refills the fresh tank on set days. Supplies get restocked and every room gets wiped down, so day twelve of a South Side camp looks like day one. On long camps we put an attendant on site. Look through our private shower trailer rentals in Texas, then call now or request a free quote and we will build the service plan around your shift change.

The fleet is ours

Over 250 units sit in our own yard. We are not a broker calling around for you, which is why a date we give you is a date you can build a schedule on.

Rooms that feel like rooms

Locking doors, smooth gel-coated fiberglass walls and floors, hot and cold on every head. Nobody washes in a plastic box on our jobs.

We plan the power before we roll

The 8-Station takes one 50 amp 220 volt circuit and the smaller combos use two 120 volt 20 amp circuits. If temporary power is not energized yet, we bring a generator and cut over later.

We place for Bexar County creeks, not just for the gate

Bexar County has more than 200 marked low water crossings and a warning network of 198 gauge sites. We look at where the water goes before we pick a pad. On Northeast Side jobs that means the unit sits uphill of the nearest crossing with a tow path that does not drop through a dip.

“We had no temporary power for the first month and they showed up with a generator already wired. Eight rooms handled 170 guys at shift change without a line worth complaining about. The pump schedule never slipped once.”

“Our locker room was gutted two weeks before two-a-days. They parked at the practice gate and our kids barely noticed the difference.”

“Fourteen months on the same pad and the trailer still looked new in month twelve. That is the part I tell other contractors about. Their guy restocked before I ever had to ask.”
In practice

Trusted with multi-station shower trailers by companies that could pick anyone

The companies that could rent anything still call us, because a bad shower at a base camp or a film set becomes the story of the whole job. The Lavatory has provided trailers for names like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay, and Target, for hospitality at Caesars Palace, and for pro sports including the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s, and Las Vegas Raiders.

The reason those bookings repeat is simple. A hot shower at the end of a long day is the one thing a crew remembers about the camp. A fire agency near San Antonio once called on a Thursday because the unit another company promised for a weekend base camp fell through, and we had a fully stocked trailer set and heated with hours to spare. A production running a long shoot outside town needed showers that held up day after day for cast and crew, and the same trailer stayed spotless through the whole schedule because our team serviced it. That standard travels to every San Antonio booking, from a two-week jobsite to a festival campground. Every model listed here also goes out for Austin portable shower rentals.

Three decades in event and equipment rental, running the largest luxury trailer fleet in the Western U.S. Every unit ours, never a broker’s.

Inside the trailer

Temporary shower facilities for San Antonio campuses and summer programs

The 8-Station Private Shower Trailer is the unit we stage most in Bexar County, because the jobs here are big and they last. Eight private rooms and 950 gallons of waste space let a 200-person crew wash at shift end without a pump truck showing up every day.

An eight-room private shower trailer parked along a San Antonio high school practice field fence at early morning, athletes walking up with towels, stadium bleachers behind it

Northside ISD runs 128 campuses and is the largest district in the area. It is about halfway through a bond program that is swapping out HVAC units and rebuilding gyms and cafeterias. The list is long. In 2026 the district paused upgrades at nine elementary schools while it weighed another bond for safety work and turf. A new sports complex near Sotomayor High School on the far Northwest Side came out of that same program. When a locker room goes offline in June, athletics does not stop.

Summer is our busy stretch on campus work. Band camp and two-a-days land in the same weeks the building is torn open. North East ISD runs the Blossom Athletic Center, an 18-court tennis center with a baseball stadium and a track beside it. Comalander Stadium sits on the same grounds. Northside ISD has the Dub Farris Athletic Complex, a 10,568-seat stadium with a natatorium next door. Events at those sites pull teams from across Bexar County, and the fixture count inside the building was never built for that. Multi-day tournaments in San Antonio can plan with our write-up on laundry trailers for team uniforms.

What is built into each shower room

Private rooms with a lockable door

Every shower is its own room with a door that locks, a bench and a hook, so a crew or a camp showers with real privacy instead of a curtain in a row.

Hot and cold water controls

A water heater and onboard tanks feed hot and cold controls in each room, with 1.5 GPM shower heads so the hot water lasts through a full shift of people.

Air conditioning and heat

Climate control in every trailer, so a shower in a July heat wave or a January storm response feels like the one at home.

One-piece gel-coated fiberglass

Walls, ceiling and floor are one molded fiberglass surface with no seams, which is why the rooms clean fast, stay clean and never smell like a locker room.

Runs with or without hookups

Fresh and waste tanks on board, a generator when the site has no power, and the option to tie into on-site septic on a long deployment.

Serviced, stocked and pumped

We deliver the trailer stocked and come back to pump, restock and clean on longer jobs, so day twelve looks like day one.

Campus placement is its own skill. We stage most units at a bus loop or a practice-field gate, because that is where the power sits and where parent pickup will not get blocked. Facilities almost always has a 50 amp feed we can use if we ask early enough. We also bring ADA shower trailer rentals onto school ground, since a roll-in shower with a seat is the first thing a district asks about. One short walk from the field beats a long one every time.

Youth programs are the other half of this. Summer camps and day programs book the smaller combo units when a gym shower room is down. San Antonio ISD has been weighing its own bond for aging buildings and a state seatbelt mandate that hits buses by 2029. North East ISD opened its boundaries to students across the city in 2026. More movement means more buildings under work at once. So we keep a service window that fits a school day. Pump and restock before 7 a.m., then out of the way before the buses roll.

Our crews also serve 8-Station private shower trailers across the region.

Full specifications for every unit are on the 8-Station spec page and its four sister pages, or call and we will spec it to your San Antonio head count.

Picking the right hot-water shower trailers for a San Antonio site

Five shower units cover everything from a single ADA-compliant room to a camp that showers two hundred people a day. Every one has hot water, private rooms and climate control. Tell us the head count, how long the job runs and what the site has for water and power, and we will size it.

8-Station Private Shower Trailer

Eight completely private shower rooms in a 29-foot box, built for crews, camps and relief sites of up to about 200 people a day. Hot and cold controls, 200-gallon fresh and 950-gallon waste tanks, an exterior four-sink hand wash bank under the roof line, and it can tie into on-site septic for long deployments. CAL FIRE approved for wildfire camp service, the spec incident teams ask for in every western state.

ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer staged for the San Antonio metro area jobs

4-Station Shower, Restroom and Laundry Combo

Four private bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, shower and power outlet, plus a washer and dryer in a separate room. A self-contained hygiene block for a crew of up to about 30 on a remote or long-term job.

2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo for rent near New Braunfels and San Antonio

2-Station Shower and Restroom Combo

Two private bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower each, in a compact 11-foot box. The pick for a small crew, a ranch job or a production base that needs both functions in one footprint.

Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo available for crew camps and plant work around San Antonio

Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo

One fully accessible room: ADA china toilet with grab bars, roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, ADA-height sink and vanity, and a ramp that deploys in minutes. It pairs with any other unit so every person on site is covered.

Bigger jobs run several trailers side by side, and long deployments get a service schedule instead of a one-time drop. If you are between sizes, we spec it to the head count rather than nudge you into more trailer than the job calls for.

We serve crews, camps and productions with shower trailer rentals throughout Texas, sized to the head count.

Other San Antonio work our hot-water shower trailers cover

Most of our San Antonio work lands in three buckets. Campuses with a locker room out of service. Crew camps on the South Side and the far West Side. And tournament weekends where a few hundred athletes finish inside the same hour.

Film and television base camps in San Antonio

Film and television base camps

San Antonio more than doubled its film permits, from 221 in 2022 to 586 by late 2025, and the city stacked its local rebate on top of the state program. Location managers call us for a quiet unit that sits exactly where the map said it would.

Military and agency field operations in San Antonio

Military and agency field operations

JBSA-Camp Bullis covers 27,990 acres northwest of the city and trains medical units out of Brooke Army Medical Center. We plan base deliveries around escort and badging time, and we are set up for agency paperwork.

Outreach and public health programs in San Antonio

Outreach and public health programs

Between 3,500 and 4,500 people are unsheltered in San Antonio on a given night. The 8-Station is the unit we bring to a hygiene day, since that trailer carries the exterior 4-sink hand wash bank along with eight private rooms.

Storm and flood relief in San Antonio

Storm and flood relief

One August storm put 112,000 CPS Energy customers in the dark and the city opened overnight cooling centers. We dispatch around the clock and we can land a unit at a resiliency hub with a generator already staged.

Festival and camping grounds in San Antonio

Festival and camping grounds

Fiesta runs eleven days in April with more than 100 events and drew 2.51 million people in 2026. Overnight crew camps behind those footprints need real hot water, not a hose.

Remote mine, ranch and range work in San Antonio

Remote mine, ranch and range work

Ranch ground, pipeline work and Eagle Ford pads south of the county line have no water line to tap. Our temporary shower facilities go out with fresh tanks full and a fill schedule in writing.

What ties these together is that a hot shower changes how a long day ends. Because our units sit staged across the region instead of a couple of states away, getting a shower trailer to a San Antonio site, even on a short-notice call, is an ordinary ask here, not a scramble.

Multi-station shower trailer rentals for San Antonio tournaments and races

A multi-station private shower trailer staged beside a San Antonio youth soccer complex parking lot on a tournament morning, goals and fields in the background, a line of players with gear bags

The Alamodome keeps pulling national events. It hosted the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four after an upgrade that brought it to the 70-suite mark the NCAA requires, and the two sessions drew close to 135,000 people with more than 100,000 unique visitors across the week. The NCAA Volleyball Championships come to the dome in 2026, and the Women’s Final Four lands in 2029. Big rooms, short windows.

Youth soccer is the steady volume. The Labor Cup ran September 1 through 7 in 2026 and expected more than 400 teams, U8 through U19. Copa San Antonio ran February 13 through 15 for U11 through U19 competitive teams. The San Antonio Jr. Winter Cup used Blossom Athletic Fields and CE McAllister on the last weekend of January. The Attacking Third tournament takes Alamo Sportplex in late November. San Antonio FC trains at the S.T.A.R. Soccer Complex. None of those sites has enough fixtures for a field-wide event, and nobody plans for that until the second day.

Races have the opposite shape. Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio goes off downtown in early December with a 7:15 a.m. start and live bands about every two miles of the 26.2. That is one heavy window and then quiet. The Valero Texas Open ran April 2 through 5 at the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio, the last PGA Tour stop before the Masters, which is a week of grounds crews and build-out staff rather than one finish-line crowd.

Here is how we size it. Eight rooms with 1.5 GPM metered heads turn somewhere around 50 people an hour once you count dressing time. Two hundred gallons of fresh water is roughly two hours of steady flow. We schedule the fill. Guessing is how a site runs dry at 4 p.m. We put an attendant on tournament jobs to keep towels and supplies moving and to wipe a room between users. And we park close to the field exit, not close to the entrance, because tired kids will not walk.

Actual timelines

Four steps to a self-contained shower unit on a San Antonio site

Booking should be the easy part of running a site. Four steps, a straight answer, and one team that owns the whole thing.

1

Tell us about the site

Share the dates, a rough head count and where the trailer will sit. That is enough for us to point you to the right unit and count.

2

We match the trailer and the hookups

We confirm whether the site has water and power or needs a generator and a supply, and pin the exact spot so delivery is one clean trip.

3

Delivery and setup

We arrive on your schedule, level and set the trailer, connect it, heat the water and stock every room so it is ready before the first shift ends.

4

Use it, we handle service and pickup

The trailer holds up through the whole deployment while our line stays open. When you are done, we come back and take it away.

Crew shower trailer rentals for San Antonio job sites and plant camps

A crew shower trailer set on gravel at a large South Side plant construction site in San Antonio, steel frame rising behind it, workers in high-visibility shirts walking up at end of shift in late afternoon light

The South Side is hiring hard. Toyota is adding a second vehicle assembly line for the Tacoma, 2,000 new jobs and 2.5 million square feet, which doubles its San Antonio campus by 2030. JCB is bringing more than 1,500 jobs through 2028. IEM is building a factory at Brooks that could add 3,000. Put those together and you get roughly 6,500 positions arriving in waves. Most of it lands on the South Side. The trades show up long before the permanent locker rooms exist.

West of town it is data centers. Microsoft filed a 245,000 square foot building at 3555 Westover Link, and a second Microsoft project broke ground on FM 471 North in Castroville in August 2026. Stream Data Centers started a hyperscale campus here too. CPS Energy is pouring five years of power work into serving the load. Shell buildings like those sit on raw ground with hundreds of trades on site, and the electrical and mechanical crews are the biggest headcount and the dirtiest. We offer mobile shower unit rentals for work sites like these because a wash at shift end keeps people coming back Monday.

Highway work is a different animal. The final Loop 1604 North segment, from Judson Road to the I-35 interchange, starts construction in late 2026 and takes 1604 to ten lanes each direction, finishing in 2029. The I-35 Northeast Expansion is building two 15-mile raised roadways between the main lanes and the frontage roads. A linear job has no building to borrow. So we move the unit along the alignment as the work front walks, and we set it where the pump truck can get in without crossing live lanes twice.

South of Bexar County the Eagle Ford is still running. The play had 50 active rigs in August 2026, and drilling companies filed 691 new permits in the first half of the year. Karnes, DeWitt, Dimmit and La Salle counties hold the busiest corridor, with rigs moving onto pads for 33 wells in Karnes alone in one recent month. No city water out there. No city power either. Our self-contained shower units go out there with full tanks and a fill schedule, and rotations get planned around the pump run.

First hour

Keeping multi-station shower trailers clean through a long San Antonio job

Lavatory crew setting and stocking a shower trailer near New Braunfels

We handle the whole thing, not just the drop-off. Our team delivers the trailer, levels and sets it, connects water and power or stages a generator and a water supply, fires the heater and stocks every room before the first person needs it. When the job wraps, we come back and haul it away.

On longer or higher-traffic bookings in San Antonio, we pump and restock on a schedule, and an on-site attendant is available for camps and productions where the trailer runs all day. That always-clean standard is the difference between a shower people use once and one they are glad to use every night of the job.

How it works

What one shift without a hot-water shower trailer costs work crews

Shower trailer on a campuses and youth programs job, the San Antonio metro area

Think about what a San Antonio deployment actually costs to run. Wages, lodging, fuel, the schedule pressure, the people you are asking to work long days away from home. Then picture the end of that shift with nowhere to get clean. A shower is the one thing every person on site uses, and it is the detail they quietly judge the whole camp by.

A private shower trailer protects everything else you are spending. Crews sleep better and stay on the job, a production keeps cast and crew comfortable through a long schedule, and a relief site gives people back a piece of normal. Set against the cost of the deployment, it is a small line item that carries a lot of the morale, which is why the managers who have run a camp without one book the trailer first the next time.

Field notes

Site planning and ADA access for hot-water shower trailers in San Antonio

Start with the water that leaves the trailer. Texas treats shower and sink water as graywater, and a system moving less than 400 gallons a day needs no permit. Above that, the TCEQ can require an Authorization to Dispose of Waste or a Type II reclaimed water permit under Title 30, Chapter 210, and a commercial system over that line has to submit engineering plans. Any real crew shower bank clears 400 gallons a day without trying. That is exactly why the waste goes into the trailer’s own tank and leaves by licensed pump truck, or ties into septic on a long job. It never goes on the ground.

Next is where the unit may legally sit. On private job-site ground that is a conversation with the general contractor. On a street or a sidewalk it is a right-of-way permit through Public Works, and the city charges by the day with the rate stepping up the longer you hold the space. Applications go through the city’s right-of-way portal, and construction permits run through the BuildSA system at Development Services. Ask for the real dates. We put the duration you actually need on the application, because guessing short and then extending costs more than getting it right once.

Then there is heat. OSHA reissued its Heat National Emphasis Program in April 2026 for a five-year run, targeting 55 high-risk industries with inspections on any day the National Weather Service posts a heat advisory. The federal heat standard itself is still in rulemaking, and the thresholds in the proposal sit at an 80 degree and a 90 degree heat index. Smart general contractors here already write shade, water, rest and an end-of-shift wash into the site plan. It reads better in a safety file than an explanation does.

Private shower trailer set up near Boerne for crew camps and plant work

Ramps, rooms and setup on the site

  • ADA-compliant shower units with a ramp, roll-in shower, seat, hand wand, grab bars and an ADA-height sink.
  • Guidance on where to place the trailer so it is easy to reach, easy to service and level.
  • Water and power sorted before delivery, with a generator and a water supply staged when the site has neither.
  • Licensed and insured on every unit we put on the road.

One thing we always say plainly: some sites, agencies and city permits have their own rules on placement, accessibility, greywater and temporary hygiene facilities. Tell us the site and we will help you plan around them, but confirm any permit requirements with the property or the agency as well.

Notes from work crews we served with multi-station shower trailers around San Antonio

Shower trailer between deployments near Boerne

Facilities director, Northwest Side high school, first week of July

The locker room HVAC came out on a Monday and two-a-days started in eleven days. We set an 8-Station at the practice-field gate and an ADA + 2 beside it, ran off the 50 amp feed facilities already had, and pumped three mornings a week before 7. Athletics never moved a practice, and the trailers were gone the Friday before the first bell.

Superintendent on a data center shell, far West Side

Temporary power was six weeks out and he already had about 180 people on site. We brought the 8-Station in on a generator, set the fill and pump days on the same calendar as his concrete pours, then cut the trailer over to a 50 amp feed when the electricians energized it. Same unit, same spot, no gap in service.

Emergency manager, the week a summer storm took out the Northeast Side

Trees were across power lines for miles and the neighborhood had no hot water. We landed two units at a staging site the next morning with a generator on each and a pump slot already booked. An attendant stayed on them through the week so the rooms stayed stocked while crews worked the lines.

Mobile shower unit rentals by San Antonio district

Shower trailer delivery range from San Antonio to New Braunfels

We run the whole metro and the counties around it out of one dispatch. Bexar County is the core, and the trucks reach New Braunfels, Boerne, Seguin and the Eagle Ford counties to the south on the same schedule. Tell us the cross streets and we will tell you the drop window.

We cover San Antonio shower trailer rentals across Texas. Towns and job corridors we serve include Downtown, Southtown, King William, Dignowity Hill, Government Hill, Tobin Hill, Monte Vista, Olmos Park, Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Castle Hills, Leon Valley, Shavano Park, Stone Oak, Hollywood Park, Timberwood Park, Alamo Ranch, Westover Hills, Great Northwest, Helotes, Converse, Kirby, Universal City, Elmendorf.

Downtown and Hemisfair, Texas

Downtown and Hemisfair

Hotel towers, the convention center expansion and the arena district ground all sit inside a few blocks. Space is the constraint, not power. We scout the lane, the turn and the pump access before we commit to a drop time, because a blocked sidewalk downtown is a permit problem with a clock on it.

South Side and the Toyota corridor, Texas

South Side and the Toyota corridor

This is the long-camp side of the city. Plant expansions run for years, which means the same unit may sit on one pad through two summers. We build a standing service calendar for those sites and add units as headcount climbs instead of swapping to a bigger trailer.

Far West Side and Alamo Ranch, Texas

Far West Side and Alamo Ranch

Data center shells and new subdivisions on flat, open ground. Placement is easy and power is the question, so most of these jobs start on a generator. Hauls out here are long, so we batch fills and pumps with the Castroville runs.

Northeast Side and Converse, Texas

Northeast Side and Converse

Loop 410, the Perrin Beitel corridor and the neighborhoods out toward Converse and Kirby. Creeks cut through all of it. We place units above the nearest low water crossing and we watch the county gauges when rain is in the forecast, because the road you need is the first one that closes.

Stone Oak and the Hill Country edge, Texas

Stone Oak and the Hill Country edge

Rock, slope and thin soil from Stone Oak up through Bulverde and out to Boerne. Leveling takes longer here and we bring extra blocking for it. Brush country also means burn bans and wildfire crews, and those camps want hot water at odd hours.

Southeast toward Elmendorf and Floresville, Texas

Southeast toward Elmendorf and Floresville

Heavy truck ground, pipeline work and the front door to the Eagle Ford. Sites out here rarely have a water line worth tapping. Our self-contained units go out full and we write the fill schedule into the rental before the first shift.

Planned rentals are usually scheduled the same week, and we do our best to cover last-minute San Antonio dates when a trailer is nearby.

Answers on renting mobile shower units around San Antonio

8-station shower unit on the San Antonio metro area site
Where can a portable shower trailer actually sit on a San Antonio job site?

We need a reasonably flat spot with about 40 feet of clear length for the 8-Station and room for a truck to pull alongside. Compacted base is better than fresh fill, and on the south and east sides of town the clay moves after a rain, so we level on arrival and recheck on the first service visit. The pump truck needs roughly 30 feet of reach, so do not box the unit in with storage containers. On the Northeast Side we also place above the nearest low water crossing.

What power does the trailer need, and can we run it on a generator?

The 8-Station needs one 50 amp 220 volt circuit. The ADA + 2 and the smaller combos use two 120 volt 20 amp circuits each. If your temporary power is not energized yet, which is normal in the first weeks of a West Side shell, we bring a generator and cut over to site power later without moving the trailer. Tell us which you expect at the quote stage so we size the fuel plan with it.

When do you come out to pump, restock and clean on a long deployment?

We set the days before the unit lands and we hold them. On a 200-person camp that usually means waste pumped and fresh water filled twice a week, with supplies restocked and every room wiped down on the same visit. Heavier head counts move to three or more visits. For base camps and relief sites we can put an attendant on site for the whole run, which is the only way throughput that high stays clean.

How do you figure what a mobile shower unit rental will cost?

Seven things move the number. How long you need it, how far it travels, whether there is site power and water or the unit runs self-contained, how often we pump and restock, whether an attendant is on site, how many units the camp needs, and how hard the placement is. A six-month pad on the South Side prices very differently from a one-weekend set at a soccer complex. Give us the head count and the dates and we will put it in writing.

Do you need a septic hookup, or where does the greywater go?

No hookup required. The 8-Station holds 950 gallons of waste and the smaller units hold 300, and a licensed pump truck empties them on schedule. On jobs running several months we can tie into septic instead, which cuts the truck visits down. Texas treats shower water as graywater and the permitting bar starts at 400 gallons a day, which any crew shower bank passes, so the water leaves in a tank or through a permitted connection. Never onto the ground.

Will we need a permit to set a mobile shower unit downtown?

If the unit sits on private property, no. If it occupies a street, a lane or a sidewalk, yes, and that is a right-of-way permit through city Public Works with a daily rate that climbs the longer you hold the space. We help you describe the footprint on the application and we will work to the duration you were approved for. Event ground inside Hemisfair or along the River Walk usually adds a venue approval on top of the city permit.

Can you scale up to multiple units for a big camp?

Yes, and that is how most big camps end up. We would rather add a second and third trailer than stretch one past what it can serve, because waiting is what makes a crew stop using the showers. We stage units so they share a fill and pump route, which keeps service time down. With over 250 units in the fleet we can also add mid-contract when your head count jumps.

Is the hot water going to hold out when a whole crew showers at once?

Each room has its own hot and cold controls and a 1.5 GPM metered head, which is what makes eight people at once work instead of fighting each other for temperature. Two hundred gallons of fresh water is roughly two hours of steady flow across the trailer, so on a big shift change we plan the fill right before the window opens. Recovery is fast enough that a second wave 40 minutes later gets the same shower the first one did.

How fast can you get a unit here after a flood or a storm?

We dispatch around the clock and we stage units in the region, so a San Antonio emergency is a same-day or next-morning answer depending on road access. After the storm that knocked out power for 112,000 homes, the problem was not water, it was no power anywhere near the need. That is why we roll with a generator on the first drop and sort out site power later. Call the dispatch line and tell us the staging address and the expected head count.

Do you deliver onto Joint Base San Antonio and Camp Bullis?

Yes, and we plan for the gate. Base deliveries take escort and badging time that a commercial job does not, so we build that into the window instead of promising a time we cannot hold. Camp Bullis is 27,990 acres, which means the drop point is often a long way past the gate and the pump route has to be approved along with it. We are SAM.gov registered, licensed and insured for agency work.

Are the rooms ADA accessible for a school or public program?

The ADA + 2 Private Shower Trailer carries one ADA room alongside two standard rooms, with a ramp built into the unit, and it meets federal ADA. For a smaller footprint the Single-Station ADA Shower and Restroom Combo has an ADA china toilet with grab bars and a roll-in shower with a seat and a wand. Districts and city programs usually want at least one accessible room on site, and we will put that in the quote without being asked.

How to place a portable shower trailer on a flood-aware San Antonio site

Bexar County has more than 200 marked low water crossings, and local officials will tell you there are more that carry no sign at all. That single fact shapes where we put a trailer. A pad that looks perfect in March, shaded and level and close to the gate, can be the one spot you cannot reach on the one morning you need it most.

Before you pick a pad, pull up the county map. Bexar County and the San Antonio River Authority run an interactive crossing map where you can select the crossings along your route and subscribe to text or email alerts. Do that at the planning stage, not after the first warning. Ten minutes on that map has saved us more service days than any piece of equipment we own.

How many shower stations a 400-team San Antonio tournament needs

The Labor Cup over Labor Day weekend in 2026 expected more than 400 teams in San Antonio across age groups from U8 to U19. Copa San Antonio in February covers U11 through U19 competitive plus a full academy bracket. Those weekends land at complexes with two shower rooms, sometimes one. So the question every tournament director eventually asks us is how many stations they actually need.

Do not start with the total number of athletes. Start with the peak window. A tournament does not send everyone to the showers at once, it sends them in two surges: late morning after the first block of games, and again after the last whistle. The surge sizes the order. It is usually a fraction of the roster count.

Planning crew shower trailer service for a long San Antonio plant camp

San Antonio’s South Side is in the middle of a hiring wave that will run for years. Toyota is adding a second assembly line for the Tacoma, 2,000 jobs and 2.5 million square feet, doubling its campus by 2030. JCB is bringing more than 1,500 jobs through 2028. IEM’s factory at Brooks could add 3,000. Those crews arrive long before the permanent locker rooms exist, and the contractor who planned for that has an easier year.

Long camps do not fail on hardware. They fail on service. Any decent trailer looks great on day one. What separates a camp people keep using from one they quietly stop using is whether the pump truck and the restock visit show up on the days they were promised, for month after month, through August.

What San Antonio districts and agencies ask for in a mobile shower unit bid

Public buyers in this market all open with the same handful of questions, whether the buyer is a school district replacing locker rooms or a county staging a relief site. A federal mission partner on base asks the same things. If you are putting a scope together for one of them, these are the boxes that actually get checked.

Insurance and licensing come first. They come fast. A district will want current certificates naming the right entities before a trailer moves, and a city or county contract usually wants them before the purchase order is even issued. We keep ours current and send them the day they are requested, which sounds small until a delivery date depends on it.

Keeping hot-water shower trailers working through a San Antonio power outage

On the evening of August 28, 2026 a summer storm walked across Bexar County and took power from 112,000 CPS Energy customers at its peak. The National Weather Service described widespread tree damage in a corridor running from northeast Bexar through central San Antonio and into the southwest part of the county. Crews restored more than 85,000 customers by Sunday, and 1,810 were still dark on Monday. That is the shape of the outage this city actually gets.

The city’s response tells you where showers end up. San Antonio opened overnight cooling centers and resiliency hubs and made transit free while crews worked the lines. Those sites fill with people who have no power at home in August, which means no AC and no hot water, and a hygiene option is one of the things that makes a hub usable for more than a few hours.
